I'm dropping stars after my experience today where the cashier completely ignored me rather than take a second let me know someone else would help me at the register that was empty when I walked up, then proceeded to get in that line ahead of me to buy her stuff before she left. I'm only keeping it above 1 star because the second cashier is usually very nice and friendly when I am in there and she was not unfriendly today but she did take 2 customers(including her co-worker) that should have been behind me in line, before me.

I've always loved Dollar General. DG'S prices are right. The merchandise is always good -- with something new to choose from and are fun selections. The clerks are helpful. The food selection is well-designed also. Those are a few reasons Dollar General is such a great place to shop.

Terrible Service. Closing time is nine PM and I walked in at 8:57 pm to get some trash bags very quickly, and all three employees standing at the register state loudly "WE ARE CLOSED! THE DOOR IS LOCKED WE ARE CLOSED. " A customer that was just served held the door open for me, kindly. Like I said I went in at 8:57. You are open absolutely until that closing time in my opinion. Anyhow. Going to Walmart where I have never been treated that way.

Very clean. Love selection of cornhusker memorabilia!Older sales clerk very grumpy .I live in different state and the times I have stopped here and had this clerk she has not been very pleasant. Not a good quality when working with public

I love the ladies that work there! They are always so eager to help and keep the store so nice and clean. I love the digital coupons too! Crete dollar general is the best

Looking for cheap crafts to diy xmas ornaments for my 5yr old. They upgraded their crafting section and since they did i absolutely love it. More options at decent price.

Came in here when I was in a rush and made a purchase. Just what you'd expect from a Dollar General, low prices and pretty large selection. Staff was polite.

Again this is a chain store that hurts small business. You need to be careful of exp dates on food and most of what they have will break it's cheap.
