The mom of the owner helped my friend and I out with our breakfast, but also helped plan our entire trip up to Nebraska! We drive here from Chicago and had no idea of what was in the area, but she gave us tons of ideas and was real about what was worth it and not, yada, yada.. The food was great and without stopping here we would've had a MUCH different trip! Super great place to eat

We just happen to be passing through and google brought us here as a suggestion. The food was so good I could only get a photo of my own because my family ate theirs too fast! The dressing was homemade and so good. The owner was very nice. He made good conversation and suggestions of things to see. We would recommend if you are hungry and in the area.

Breakfast was very good and the cook was willing to accommodate our special request. The server could have given a little more attention to detail. We had to ask for coffee refills and jelly. But overall it was good.

I had the pleasure of dining at a local restaurant not long ago, and the experience was truly memorable. The warm welcome, cozy atmosphere, and creative menu all stood out. Awesome place in an awesome town! My girlfriend and I were hunting near the area and had a great time getting lunch here! To think the owner cooks the amazing food AND makes sure the guests are taken care of blow my mind!The food was all great but the double bacon cheeseburger was one of the best that I have had. We will be coming back for sure anytime we are in the area…even if we have to take a few detours to make sure we are!

Rained out of our hunting trip so decided to run to Crawford to this restaurant while waiting for the weather to move outz Online it shows that the restaurant opened at 8am. Waste of a drive to find out that they were closed. Need to update the hours. This was on a Tuesday at 0830.

My boyfriend and are were in town for hunting, so we decided to stop in for some lunch between hunts. The food was delicious— we French fried and jalapeño poppers were by far my favorite!! Our server was very kind and helpful and informed us that she was also the owner as of a few months now and everything was homemade!! There were also adorable Halloween decorations throughout the place(: such a fun experience and would come back again!!

My wife and I had lunch today at Frontier Restaurant and Bar in lovely downtown Crawford. The have for their Wednesday special "hot wings". It is still a wonderful place to have lunch. The wings were wonderful. Best wings we've had in Nebraska. Cooked just right. And we also had chips & salsa so I could get enough carbs to offset my insulin. The chips were warm and wow tasty!! I think the best chips ever!! Darn good salsa also. Good service, nice ambiance. 5 stars!!

Menu is somewhat limited in size but people try hard to please. I looked at menu and then ordered what I wanted even though it wasn’t on menu. To my surprise, no problem! Food was excellent and service was great too. Friendly small town atmosphere and locals hangout. Was there for breakfast and would love to come back sometime for evening dinner.

They came out with a new Salad it's called the Santa Fa Salad! It's not on the menu yet so make sure you ask about it. The dressing was so yummy! I liked how it was ran by a family. The 3 gentlemen who were working was the dad and sons were super friendly and the food came out supper fast. I would highly recommend the Salads. My husband said his burger was Phenomenal and one of the best he's ever had. Great prices and great food great service. It's first 5 star I've ever given!

Wonderful place to eat! Family owned. Owner and family are delightful! Very friendly! We were staying at Fort Robinson, which we also love, in the fall. We had opportunity to eat here several times. Food was delicious! Especially loved breakfast and the Railroader burrito.

The western hamburger I ordered was amazing, very taste, fresh and as I really like, it was super hot just taken it off the grill. The fries that came with was one of the best I ever had. And all the service, the waitress, even the cook that came out asking how everything was going were super friendly. Highly recommend!

Sometimes you just dont know. Well this place serves good chicken fries excellent mashed potatoes with great gravy all home made. Ruebens were very good, and the hamburgers are large and a good helping of fries.Family run business, good service they love to visit. Glass of cold beer 1.75 really. Good place to take the family and priced right. Bar is separate from dining area. New pool table also. Enjoy.

Probably the best place in town. Had dinner and breakfast here. Big pancake means a BIG pancake.Only weak side is the desserts. Filling food and nice staff, though."Town elders" seemed to have a breakfast meeting here on Thursday, too, if you want to catch the scuttlebutt for what's happening in Crawford.

Stopped in for a bite to eat while staying at nearby High Plains Homestead.Our server was very friendly and our food came out fast (but not too fast where you have to worry about how they cooked it so quickly).Ordered the cheese curds as an appetizer and HOLY MOLY THESE CHEESE CURDS ARE GOOD.Had the chicken fried steak for dinner and it was also good.

A lovely jewel on Hwy 71 in NW Nebraska. Had breakfast and my omelette was one of the finest, ever! Prices reasonable and great staff. Worth driving out of your way.
