This is the worst experience I have had at a restaurant. I ordered a four piece chicken strip basket and a shrimp basket took about 15 minutes to get my food the whole time I was waiting there was nothing but screaming and cussing in the back from the employees I got back to my hotel. And checked my food the chicken strip basket was fine. The shrimp basket had five little pieces and maybe 15 fries so I went back to the store ordered a blizzard waited in line for another 10 to 15 minutes while the employees just continued walking by the customers at the front counter, finally got service from the manager on duty who told me he made my shrimp basket and he doesn’t know what i want him to do I believe his name was Sebastian after he told me that he walked away, and there were still continuous cussing and screaming and banging in the back the positive I seen the whole night was the young man working drive-through and the front counter were running trying to stay caught up, but it seemed like they didn’t have any help because everybody else was playing in the back, they were not management and they were telling the people in the kitchen so stop yelling and cussing because there’s customers so congratulations to the young man that were working in front for caring about their job and their customers

I ordered my blizzards on the app no issues there but when I went to pick up my order there were 2 cars in front of me that’s fine I got up to the window the female worker that handed me my blizzards wasn’t friendly at all. I said thank you she said yep shut the drive thru window and took her headset off as I look in the window there is at least 4 others just standing there on their phones not mention the lights were off already. You close at 9pm the outside lights should not be turned off at 8:15pm, this is not the first time that has happened. I visit this Dairy Queen at least once a week, I have been in the fast food industry so I know what they were doing and it’s not ok. I understand you just want to go home but there should be no reason to act the way that girl did I’m sorry but that’s disrespectful.This NEEDS to be fixed.

Spent 98$ on food just to receive rotten lettuce in my salad and for my 3 year old daughter to receive a moldy bun with her hotdog. I also ordered 8 drinks and only received 7 of them, and no straws. Why would I spend so much money for such poor service. The employees acted like they were just hired as well, very displeased and disgusted. Will be contacting corporate and making a bigger complaint. DO NOT EAT HERE!

If i could rate a 0 or negative I would, this store has went to the dump in the last year. I used to stop multiple times a week Stopped by 2/26/24 in the evening & was bombarded with teens screwing around in the lobby trying to go behind the counter, taking the equipment like hand sanitary station apart, the staff tossing cups and them & talking to them vs the customers. The staff was very disorganized sending trays out to the wrong tables then taking them back behind the counter. One teen was shaking and lifting the front counter just for a sauce packet while people were waiting on orders or to order. Not saying what order number it was for to go orders or what was in the order just wondered around the store handing it to whoever. Many customers waiting for ice cream while the staff messed around with their friends. Teenagers dressed in random "comfy" clothes that did not match, not in closed toed or heeled shoes.

*Update at bottom*Super long drive thru experience was waiting 15 minutes after I ordered. 1 of my blizzards was melted and spilled on me just as I was trying to bring it in my car... Should have known when they didn't flip it upside down. They remade the blizzard, but it was mostly the mix-ins, which I never thought I would complain about, but there just wasn't enough icecream. Additionally, the salad was pathetic and missing cheese, plus they didn't give me a fork.In response to the DQ response: I don't live there. I was on a 20 hour drive between CO and MN.*Update* I have increased the stars from 2 to 4. The management of this Dairy Queen reached out to me to make it right. Not only was she gracious about my negative review, she explained the staff was wholly new and the day was quite hot - they were still working out the kinks and clearly unprepared for the heat (making blizzards 10 minutes before handing them out and allowing them to melt). She also explained they had to remake several blizzards that day. I appreciated her willingness to work with me, especially considering I won't be back through Cozad for a long time, if ever.

If I could give this Dairy Queen a 0 I would. As sad as it makes me being from Cozad, this Dairy Queen has gone down hill. We waited 30+ minutes for our drive through food all for it to be cold & wrong. Sad we’ve lost this as a choice in our small town but until something is done about the staffing they need to close!

No greetings, no smile. Only car in DT & I Waited so long for a vanilla shake while workers just stared me down through the dt window.It shouldnt take long for a shake kids.

We had a nice visit here during our travels. We stopped for lunch and the employees were all very nice and got our orders perfect. The restaurant was clean and felt very welcoming inside.We loved the dessert here the most! My kids each had a cupcake sundae and they were a big hit. I really liked the BBQ sandwich. We are traveling from Georgia, so it was nice to see they offer the BBQ up here as an option too.

I love the food. The 2 young teen girls working the Drive Through two days ago were a bit like a comedy routine, a little ditzy. It was entertaining even though I don't think it was intended.About 20 minutes ago I came back for a delicious burger. The lobby was closed at 7:00 pm. The Drive Through was 5 cars deep and I sat for several minutes and the car at the com wasn't even greeted.I recommend you hire some disciplined workers. No More of these no work ethic slackers

Very nice staff and the food are good and not expensive. I really like the sundaes, it is so enjoyable on the way of road trip when outside is 36 degree.

The staff at this Dairy Queen were very nice and professional and they made our order very promptly. The interior dining area was very small, but they keep it clean. Also, they do have bathrooms available for customers. The bathrooms are fairly clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our dinner and sundays.

There was 3 other cars in the parking lot when we got there and no body was waiting for an order and one car in the drive through. We order and a friend ordered. Just 3 small blizzards for all of us. 2 of the blizzards came within 5 min, the 3rd one arrived 25 min later. We went to the counter twice and asked about it and they said they forgot. Now it did get a little busy about 6-10 min after we got there, it got very busy about 15 min after we arrived. But others got burgers, fries and full meals before we got 1 blizzard. And we had to go remind them twice!!

The Cozad Dairy Queen is excellent in all areas, very clean, well trained staff, food cooked appropriately, fast service. I have been there twice, once dining in and once drive through. Pup likes the pup cup too!Vegetarian options: If you are a vegetarian who includes fish in their diet I recommend the Alaska fish sandwich. Crispy!Parking: The Cozad location is easy to drive into and has sufficient parking.

Things were not going well with the young staff, they seemed to be bickering & goofing off when we went inside. We ordered a malt & a milkshake as well as chicken strips without fries & toast. The girl was unable to figure how to put in the order. A fellow employee came over to tell her to hit "over ride" but when the bill was given to us, it was full price with the full meal. I told them I did not want that, only the strips so cancel the order. The employee was unable to figure it out & the manager appeared. She took care of it but instead of showing the employee how to complete the order correctly, she reprimanded the employee in front of all. The milkshake & malt we not were not usual Dairy Queen quality but were thin & runny. It was apparent the staff was new, not trained well & not focused on doing their job well. We were disappointed.

10/28/2022 afternoon/early evening drive thru. Fast, fresh, friendly. Loved the food and were offered a pup cup at the window for our dog. Hope the team there is well compensated, rarely get service like that these days.

Went to grab some DQ since I'm traveling across the United States and haven't had DQ in years. It was 13:30 the doors were locked, no sign saying they were closed. I was pretty bummed out because I craved a burger from there. Hope everything is alright worker wise nonetheless 🙏
