This Walmart is a semi-annual stop for us as we snowbirds migrate south in the fall and north in the spring. Always well stocked, fresh produce and selections. Friendly helpful staff. And they are kind enough to allow overnight parking for travellers which we always appreciate and thus go spend our grocery money there. Seem like a great helpful team which we don’t find at all stores. Always feel safe here and that’s a big thing for travellers.

One of the best stores we have been in. Clean store, well stocked, nice alternatives if out of something particular I was looking for, super nice and accommodating employees. Big parking lot to park our 18 wheeler in overnight. Will definitely return if ever in the area!

Love this Walmart. I’m in McCook fairly often and always stop to restock the truck. People are super friendly here and the prices are really good compared to Walmarts in other parts of the county

Better experience than North Platte that's for sure. Was nice running in a few min before close and not have someone try to not allow you in the open store.

We stopped there in our RV for the night and could not get slide in the next morning. I pulled over to the Automotive service and Checked for a battery. The Auto Dept Manager was so helpful and friendly. We finally figured out it was not the battery but it was low. I had a110 adapter and the Manager allowed me to charge up. In less than an hour it would close an we were off. The whole store was the cleanest we have ever seen and the auto Manager went out of his way to help us they did not charge a penny.

Auotmotive department probably can use someone that knows how to change oil, a few weeks ago took my Kia in for an oil change , smelling burning oil, thought I’d check it, dip stick is gone, new dip stick came today, the car has 3 quarts of too much oil.Maybe not offer the service if you guys can’t do the services people pay for, how many engines have you guys destroyed by doing this?I want a full refund and the 40 bucks for the dip stick

They advertise truck parking ..... There is NO truck parking anywhere, not in the lot that they say is for trucks and not in the car area.

NO MASK ENFORCEMENT!! Other WalMarts deny entrance if you don't wear a mask, but not here. More than 20% shoppers without masks. Beware!! I heard a customer complain to an employee, who said there was nothing they can do. BS!! No mask, no purchase. Fix this store, Walmart!

Kind staff and a great layout go a long way! The man at the front greeted me and was smiling, we took a cart but when we didn't need it and returned it he was all joy still. The selection is nice the prices are fair and the checkout was nice clean and easy! Thank you!

Their staff is ridiculous! At 9:54pm after driving an hour and just needed a phone they already shut down electronics and apparently nobody is capable of unlocking a cabinet besides the one that can't stay in their department til it's actually 10:00pm! This is why everyone is doing their business online I guess! Pathetic

Not my favorite place to shop but it's about the only one McCook. I would definitely choose the McCook Walmart over North Platte Walmart. McCook has a better selection for boys. Their prices are usually cheaper than they are in North Platte. Some days I don't have exactly what I need but they usually have more than North Platte does. Usually they have actual cashiers to check you out but you do occasionally have to do self check out just to get out.

This was not a good experience. I haven't gone into the actual store for a long time. I have been doing my shopping online since pre-covid times. They had 0 checkouts open on one half of the store and on the other side, the 3 that were open (plus self serve) were backed up to the merchandise. Not a good day to go shopping I guess.

This is a great Walmart store with great employees. Nice cashiers who are good at their jobs, friendly and helpful service in every department of the store. Employees in the automotive department are skilled and have done an excellent job on everything we've had done. Always plenty of checkstands open. The store and restrooms always clean. Excellent pharmacy with very professional staff.

Very large superstore with lots of parking. Handicap parking is ample and some motorized shopping carts are available. Wide selection of merchandise as is typical for Walmart superstore.

They apparently stopped selling hush puppy mix in store now. They already stopped selling the butter I used(north Platte too) almost a year ago or so that I can easily find in other walmarts. What next?

Walmart is as Walmart does.Same Ole same Ole.I have noticed a decline in intelligence amongst some of the upper eschewing of staffing however.It starts out slow, the demise of a superpower.But as it snowballs, picks up speed, we will see in real time the level of fail our American economy is curtailing.Good luck everyone. Get stocked up.Catch ya on the flip side of the season. I fear it will be a long winter coming soon to a theatre near you.
