So happy to have this facility in our town! I'm grateful that they provide the stray and abandoned animals with a healthy environment and find new homes so less animals are euthanized. We found our very special cat Harris here and he is quite a character! I believe adopted pets know what has been done for them and are that much more attached to their new family!

Such a communicative, and honest shelter. They work with you to make sure you adopt the right fur baby, and provide lots of information about their fluffy guests. I drove about 2 hours to pick up my new baby girl and it is so worth it.

I'm giving them five stars because the dog i adopted there is so wonderful words cannot explain. He was 11months old when I got him and he immediately bonded with me, so much that were currently working on some separation anxiety issues but im confident that he will work it out. Hes so smart I was going to hire a trainer but I did some reading about clicker training along with positive reinforcement and so far he has learned stay, sit, down, come, fetch, he was 100% house trained in 10 days, tricks he has learned are to dance, give me five and working on rolling over. He is my ESA dog and has done great going to Dr's appointments, the grocery store, crowds dont phase him. Its just been a dream come true. As for the staff the day I picked him up really didn't seem too interested in explaining the adoption to me. For example they didn't tell me I needed to go online and register my information with the microchip company which had my vet not told me what to do the microchip would have been useless. They were just in a rush to get me out the door was my feeling. They did include a nice starter kit with toys and treats etc in it. They also included one free Veterinarian visit with the adoption. All in all it was so worth it because I got a new best friend out of it. After reading other reviews it seems as though rude staff is a common denominator here. If i had that job I'd be so happy to do the work they do helping thrown away animals get a second chance and a life that every living thing deserves!

Dr mike was amazing. He not only took care of my hello lab he followed up later via zoom to make sure he was doing well. I will refer everyone i know to dr mike. He treated my puppy like he was a part of the family.

We adopted Bud from Paws & Claws almost ten years ago. He was the sweetest, most loyal companion we could ever have asked for. When we had to say goodbye to him last month, we knew we would look for our new dog at Paws & Claws. The staff at Paws & Claws are so helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!!

I still have my two sister kitties I adopted two years ago. They are great. I would like to respond to the lady about the microchip. They, the vet, whoever puts the chip in are not responsible for setting up your pets account with the chip company. That is on the pet owner. Thanks.

Sherry was the best she knew me and my little Yorkie before and he had just died recently I had looked at the kittens before and wanted to get one and I thought it would be good for Tommy’s well being❤️ But, Sherry placed my little Girl in my arms and I I smitten with this Kitty! Originally Mustard she is now Sammy and she has personality plus! And I am not too sure where I would be without her‼️♥️

Went in to check out the dog's. Was told that they don't let people in the dog room any more, but here is a book you can look at.... WOW how are you suppose to figure out a dog attitude if you can't meet them... Off to more loving shelters!!!

Nice staff. More often then not usually doesn't smell good - surprisingly kennels & cat boxes appear clean - thinking they scoop poop with cheaper litter used so accounting for allot of smell. Always overload of cats which you'd think make $95 adoption fee lower but not offered as such when I've been there. Escort thru cat room & kennel, neither big/roomy...not real "comfortable shopping" so to speak. Very thorough in adoption paperwork. Street parking, single glass door, I'd guess wheelchair accessible beings a city facility. Community contributions in money or supplies always very appreciated as I'm sure also needed.

We weren't impressed with our visit. The pets were nice and their facilities were great, but we felt like the workers didnt want to make the time for us or the animals. We simply wanted to visit with some of the animals, and one employee in particular made us feel like we were being incredibly inconvenient. There were no other customers there at the time.

Got my cat microchipped there a few years ago. I recently found out that somehow they never registered the microchip that they put in my cat, said something must have slipped through the cracks and admit it was their mistake. I do understand that everybody makes mistakes, but now they want me to pay for a new registration fee, refuse to otherwise fix their mistake. It's not a big fee, but I do refuse to pay for it when everything should have been taken care of when I purchased the chip and have a receipt to show for it. According the the lady that called me, there's nothing they can do. Won't be recommending them to anybody now

Love the cat i got from there the nicest sweetest little thing and love the people there and the cat and dog might have bern in a bad storm or something so i am glad they take thoughs animals in love this place recommand going here to get a kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs. Very well treated animals.💙💜❤💗 😊🐱🐶

I adopted a cat from here. Her name at the shelter was Maggie, and I named her Airabella. She is a blue siamese. And she is picture listed below. She was healthy. I recommend getting a animal from here. Come check the animals up for adoption here. All the dogs & cats need forever loving families. You wont be disappointed. Staff is very friendly & knowledgeable.

I was able to contact a sheriff while they were closed to get a few lost dogs taken care of. So glad this place is helpful and has options for emergencies
