The attitude of the cashier today was terrible.I get they are sometimes busy, but pushing customers on top of other people at check out is unacceptable. I asked to hold off having my items go down the conveyor until the previous customer was done moving his stuff, and the cashier got an attitude with me about it.It's rude to have my items smashing into another customer's items because of the cashier's impatience.

Customer service was abysmal. She couldn't find her number wouldn't call I had to walk all the way back after telling the cashier what it was and get it. There were five people standing there in plumbing I was able to walk all the way across the store get a different part and bring it back and they still hadn't figured it out. Sally was less than helpful to say the least

Had to stop in quick before heading to the jobsite and after getting what I needed I really had to pee since I’ve been holding it the whole drive from Omaha but they had just started cleaning the bathrooms so I asked the person cleaning the bathrooms if I could pee quick and she said no no no…. That just seams insane to me that you would close the bathrooms right when you open and then deny customers to use it quickly before they cleaned it..

Jason was super helpful in plumbing! Other staff were helpful as well, but with Jason’s help, this could actually one of the rare projects where a single trip to The store is needed! :-)

I would imagine that one Menards is pretty much like any other. I will say if anything makes a difference it would be the people. That being said I just had a very pleasant experience dealing with Travis S. He was helpful and knowledgeable.

I always end up leaving Menards with 10 items more that I went in to buy. Their sales and the 11% off everything in the store special that they run quite often each year make shopping there really affordable. To my surprise they sell the same dog food that my vet sells but much cheaper than anyplace I've looked online or in other stores plus if you buy it while they are having their 11% off it's really a good price it's vet recommended and my dogs love it. They also have a great variety of natural dog treats that are affordable as well.

Good store, good people...the rebate has to be printed in "blue" and is not valid if you don't have this, that, and the other thing is a terrible rebate offer. How many hoops do you have to jump through? Why isn't the offer on line to just fill it out? Stop behaving like cheapskates and help people get the money you brag about throughout the store. Home Depot isn't that far.

Bought a brand new dryer 10/31/22. Installed it 11/7/22. Wouldn’t work. Never worked a day. Was told they wouldn’t cover or replace it because it’s only covered for 7 days. Was told to Go away and call the manufacturer. Never buy from here.

A very unfortunate experience. Have given this location tremendous business over the years but today 4/12/22 had the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Check out equipment not working, told to just take what we got and mail in a computer print out to try and get a correct receipt. Customer service staff repeatedly said they didn't want to reprocess the order to give a proper receipt. Making excuses that they would have to redo the whole order, note about 15 items. Took our rebate but didn't apply nor could find. I realize times are tough but still expect paid staff to do their job.

Tried to joke about the girl running checkout 12... said I saw you hiding back by the register and not looking for customers, so i picked you! Responded ya... i dont want to be here!. Well... at least she was really fast at check out! Didn't want me in line anymore!!! Truth hurts I guess.

Extremely mad and disappointed with the service provided to me today... I paid for a service that included appliance, delivery and installation. Received a call a few days ago were they asked me to adjust the date, no problem. My problem is that on delivery date I was told by the delivery person that it was a drop off and not installation, uhhh not what I paid for. I am new in the area, new house and running on a tight schedule and I was expecting to have things running by today... but instead I was told different... highly recommended better communications with the costumer... now I am back to square one. But can't do much until the weekend due work responsibilities...

Just Passing thru may never go back. huge store and pretty decent prices 👍 but the staff 👎 a few of them seem to have an attitude when they are asking people to wear a mask. They blocked another person from even going in and yelling about it. I don’t wear one unless asked. and when asked I don’t argue or have an attitude, I put it on to reach my end goal so it should be the end of it, no problem right? Wrong I got eye rolls and something muttered under the breath.

They rent you broken tools that are held together with tape and then charge you fees for “breaking the item” even when you have proof it was like that when you picked it up. The general manager will cuss you out and call you inappropriate names when you ask for a refund within 10 minutes of renting because it doesn’t work.

Get what you pay for.If you want something in a hurry don't bother because the register wait times are 5-30 mins more than a hardware store. Understaffed at convenient hours means you are waiting long periods of time for help loading. Most of the time I am waiting 20+ min. for loading help. I have actually started planning on bringing help to load items like sheet rock, plywood, etc. But, cheapest prices in town typically 10% cheaper than competing lumber yards/hardware stores.

I was 6 aisles away from the door person yelling at me that my mask had slipped off my nose because I was talking through my projects. Went in with a $5,000 list and walked out with a $.58 item. Bought my appliances from Sears, wonderful service and no mask. Buying my kitchen cupboards from Meade, no mask, no yelling and I had wonderful service! Menards in Columbus :( terrible service and super RUDE!!!

I recently visited Menards to complete the purchase and delivery of roofing materials. After going back and forth with customer service and the contractors station, Lois the manager became disrespectful and rude with the order. Lois who I had asked to check my account to prove the order was not delivered said she can not provide this service. She refused to help with the situation and walked away leaving me with no information in regards to the issue. I spent over 2 hours in the store that day and left with no results. Menards claimed the material was delivered and that I had no claims. Jess the manager called later confused and said the order was delivered. Later, Jess admitted that the order was never delivered. Now, Lois who I had asked to check my account to prove the order was not delivered, asks for my card to verify the issue. I had asked her twice earlier that day and she denied that she could not provide that service. Lois was unprofessional and rude. The majority of staff are helpful and the materials are useful. I just will avoid the big projects at Menards until I feel management understands how to handle situations without lecturing and blaming the customers.

Love Menards. Needed help though, looking for some screws. I asked an employee who just stood there with his mouth open then said he'd get someone to help. Never.Came. Back. Luckily, a nice contractor cane by and helped me get the screws I needed.

i was there on 4/11/18 with my elderly mother after waking thru the front door and getting a friendly greeting the customer service was a shock all employees were on cell phones and not eager to please any customer. No helps was ever offered. We were send to wrong places back and forth throughout the store with 3 carts fully loaded with one cart being full of 8 foot posts. After spending nearly $400.00 i feel Menards needs to know. In the future i will do business elsewhere.

I ordered cabinets from Menards on May 5. I finally got my cabinets, way after the promised delivery day (received in July). I unpacked and two of the three were damaged. I called Menards and they promised me they would call the rep and reorder immediately and put a rush on it. They came in two days ago. I opened the boxes and they completely sent me the wrong cabinet! I sent pictures of the damaged cabinet, along with the order numbers on the box as well as my original order. How could they POSSIBLY have screwed this up! Now I have to wait another two months (apparently that is 'rush' to them), pay someone to make a trip again (two unnecessary trips), all because of poor product and poor service. I will not recommend them for cabinets, ever! If I could give minus 5 stars I would.

Prices up still on plywood, sad. Will have to order online, cheaper. Everything I purchased was higher than last time. May have to start buying bird food elsewhere. Quality is going down also, so sad.

I am very disappointed with this Menards. I recently had a bad experience when purchasing a dishwasher. After waiting a LONG time to get help answering my questions regarding the dishwasher in the store, I finally decided to purchase one at Menards, even though Sears had a similar sale item, we could get it for a slightly cheaper delivery fee, so we went with them. I was told that they would pick up the old dishwasher and then we would just be in charge of hooking up the new one, which my husband assumed he could handle, and the lady assisting me called the plumbing dept and they said it was not very complicated to install. After waiting AGAIN for someone to set up our delivery (and I might add, my children were getting pretty crazy after waiting so long in the store) we finally purchased the dishwasher and waited for the delivery the following day. I then heard from my husband, who was there for the delivery, that they WOULD NOT install it because we had not uninstall the old one for them. I was NEVER told that we had to uninstall it ourselves. When I called to discuss this with them as the new and old dishwashers were both sitting in our kitchen, I was given to Lois, a very rude manager in the department who rudely told me that if I signed the delivery agreement, I agreed to it because it was in writing on that agreement. Yes, I would love to sit and read your delivery agreement after being in your store waiting for an hour with two small children. So, I am, in fact, at fault for signing something and not reading the fine print, but I have to warn those of you shopping there not to make the same mistake. I will shop for my appliances at Sears from now on, as he was upfront about all fees and all that would be involved when I talked with him over the phone. I had a huge list of items we planned to buy from Menards, those items will now be purchased elsewhere. I encourage others to do the same.

Three times iv been there and all three times your scooters have dropped dead on me at the back of the store,,I'm disabled and had to walk to the check out line struggling with my cane and a couple of idems I got,,think anyone of you're employs seeing me would help. The security lady upon entering was pretty crabby the pregnant one after that they're pretty quick unloading me I was overall happy with the experience other than leaving chunks of pallet and a mess in my trailer

They have a great selection of building materials and Automotive an excellent prices, not to mention the 11% off is really good. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable in a really interesting environment. I love this store 😃
