This is the most amazing place they do such an amazing job they’re so good my little 3 1/2 pound teacup Chihuahua had to go through a very serious surgery does not do well with anesthesia and they did amazing with him. I love Dr. Kelley she’s beautiful person beautiful soul he loves animals would definitely recommend this for hundreds of miles around to be the place to take your animal. Are your pet if they are part of your family your family

Doctor Ann was recommended to us for our ferrets! We were told she is the best for exotic babies! Our ferrets absolutely love going in to see all the nurses and doctors! The customer service is also amazing!We had an emergency one time and we didn’t get the chance to call before showing up! Let me tell you how amazing that experience was! They, without an hesitation, booked us in and got our baby seen immediately. They took good care of our baby girl! She was even snuggling the nurses and doctor that day! Our baby girl was fine thankfully! I recommend Columbus Small Animal Hospital to everyone that asks me! You guys are awesome!

Maggie was super nervous when we arrived for her appointment. As soon as they took us to the exam room, she started to calm down. The atmosphere is pretty laid back. Her vet answered all my questions and took great care of Maggie.

I cannot say enough positive things about CSAH. From the time I called in to the time I checked out, they were nothing but caring and professional. They were able to fit me in the same day I called. Dr Ann and Angie were great to work with and Ollie my cat was extremely comfortable around them. Dr Ann is very informed and answered all of my questions, assuaged my concerns and helped get my sick Ollie feeling better. I would recommend CSAH to anyone who wants a professional, relaxing experience for their pet.

I do not recommend boarding your animal at this clinic!! Should've trusted my gut when they wouldn't even let me see where my dog was going to be staying while being boarded here. I dropped my dog off on a Tuesday night, only to find out on Saturday morning that she wasn't going to make it because of dehydration/starvation. No one from the clinic bothered to call me and tell me my dog was not eating until 2 hours before she died (by then it was too late). We lost our dog of 13 years because they let her starve to death. There was no extra care given to her to help keep her alive. No IV's, no supplements. Very cruel treatment!

I am compelled to share my deeply disturbing experience at this veterinarian's office. Yesterday, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize my 20-year-old cat. My familiarity with this process, having had pets for decades and working with rescue, made this visit stand out for all the wrong reasons.In all my years as a pet owner and animal advocate, I have never encountered such a staggering lack of compassion, skill, and professionalism. My cat's final moments were marked by errors, insensitivity, abuse, and incompetence that I can only describe as horrifying.From the outset, I felt bullied by the staff as they demanded to take my cat to the back for a simple IM injection. When they caved at my lack of consent, it became apparent why they feel the need to hide behind closed doors. It's now clear to me that they do not want owners to witness their actions due to their unskilled and botched procedures.The staff's inability to properly administer a sedative intramuscularly caused unnecessary distress for my cat. When I voiced my concerns over the botched injection, the staff became abusive towards me. Their unwillingness to address my distress demonstrated a complete lack of empathy.The staff's actions crossed ethical boundaries when they entered the room during the sedation process, pressuring me to pay the bill before my cat had even passed away. This lack of consideration was not only insensitive but also unprofessional.I repeatedly demanded to know the names of the licensed professionals administering a DEA-scheduled drug, as they screamed at me while my cat was dying. At this point, I picked up my phone and began recording the remainder of the encounter. The fact that I felt the need to record the experience speaks volumes about the unprofessionalism displayed. I had to call the State Board of Medicine to get the vet's name - Kelly Johnstone Epperly.While my cat was taking her last breaths, I watched as the barbaric veterinary technician choked her out and refused to let me hold her as she struggled. I watched as the vet's clumsy hands shook while she injected my cat. This only deepened the anguish of the situation. Our cat's euthanasia took an unbelievable 45 minutes. This is completely incompetent, remedial care. The vet didn't even check for a heartbeat before we left because she was too busy bullying me out of the office to prevent her own embarrassment and shame.The atmosphere in the office was nothing short of unsettling, with an odor that could only be described as a mixture of rotting flesh and feces. This environment added to the already traumatic experience.In a shocking turn of events, the staff threatened to call the police when I expressed my horror at their treatment of my dying cat and of me as a client. They also refused to bill or allow me to pay for the services rendered, an action that can only be interpreted as an admission of their guilt and negligence.I am writing this review to ensure that other pet owners are aware of the dangerous and belligerent practices employed by this facility. The level of disregard for an animal's dignity and an owner's concerns is beyond comprehension. This is not the same caring, competent veterinary care as it was under previous ownership.To say that I am deeply disappointed by this experience would be an understatement. If you are a pet owner seeking compassionate care, I implore you to look elsewhere. This place has left an indelible mark of distress on my memory, and I hope that sharing this account will prevent others from enduring the same. Be vigilant and never let your pets out of your view in this office.

I just boarded my two dogs at Columbus Small Animal Hospital for the first time and it was great! We had one of my dog’s teeth cleaned and a couple of masses removed as well during their stay and they did an amazing job! They even got baths so they came back to us nice and clean, will definitely bring them back to be boarded here again. Thanks Columbus Animal Hospital!

Dr. Cramer was knowledgeable and her instructions were clear. What really impressed and surprised me was when I explained why I seemed apprehensive, she took my feelings into account and walked me through everything she was doing and why. She took extra time with me to make sure I was comfortable.Dr. Taylor has been phenomenal as well. She is genuinely concerned about our cats and has helped us through some difficult situations with her empathetic approach to coaching and care.

My fur baby and I had a great first time experience. I could tell this place was going to be different the moment I walked in to schedule an appointment. The staff were very compassionate and understanding. My fur baby is very anti social. Every vet I had her too always had to put her under to exam her, I always felt they didn’t want to treat her because of her constant hissing and howling. But the vet I had today said she is a well behaved kitty and didn’t have to put her under gave her a full exam, plus a dewormer, and a shot. Taking her to other vets they would’ve put her under. More than happy with the staff on the level of their compassion, understanding, the care they have for my animal, and able to talk and explain what is going on with my cat. This we’ll be my new vet for my fur baby and I would recommend it to any one with pets.

Dr. Kramer was recommended by our regular vet when our dog started having back and hip issues. He was completely immobile when we started his acupuncture. We were afraid we'd have to put him down. He is a 9 year old Cavachaun. We've been doing monthly acupuncture treatments for almost a year and he's not only regained mobility, but he looks like a puppy again chasing squirrels. We have also been sending him there for grooming since they take such good care of his back. Every single person we've encountered there is friendly and professional, from the top to the bottom. Great job, guys!

Dr Ann is amazing with my baby Penny. She’s a 70 lbs pitbull that is afraid of vets from her prior experiences. I thank GOD every day that I have Dr Ann and her team to take care of Penny. She’s a special case being a pitbull and being afraid, but she’s not afraid of them which makes my life easier. If you need a caring vet who goes above and beyond Dr Ann and her team is your savior for your baby.

Best place for small animals!! I️ drive 60 miles to Use them cause they are the best! I️ have had many hunting dogs and with them come problem! Dr Kramer has taken such good care of them and did things other vets said they can’t fix! ACL, tire pad off foot, hit by car, hit with B.B. and they got them back hunting! Awesome service and great staff!! Recommended many friends and all equally pleased! Thanks Dr for all the help!

We cannot express our gratitude enough to Dr. Ann and her staff at Columbus Small Animal Hospital. Our "baby" Yorkie Jersey had not felt well for a couple weeks. She took a very quick turn for the worse and at 2:00 a.m. on a Saturday night (Sunday morning) we made the decision she needed to see a vet. Dr. Ann was on call, and met us at the clinic. She quickly identified that Jersey had a life threatening uterine infection that would require surgery. After 24 hours of fluids to try and bring Jerseys status to stable enough for surgery, we were told her white cell count was out of control, and she would not survive without immediate surgery. We were also told she may not be strong enough to get through surgery. I'm happy to say, she's a tough little girl, and came through with flying colors! Through this 5 day ordeal, Dr. Ann was so kind, and understanding, and honest with us. She explained every step of the way, and even sent me a picture of Jersey after she woke up from the anesthesia, which I appreciated so much. She and her staff obviously genuinely care about their patients, and owners, and understand the bond that forms with our pets! We highly recommend them and genuinely appreciate all they did to bring our Jerz home!! We give them 5 stars, and Jerz gives them 5 barks!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about Columbus Animal Hospital. My dogs are my kids and after taking one of my dogs to 4 different vets, Columbus Animal Hospital was the only one that could figure out what was wrong with him. They were much more reasonably priced compared to the others I had been to and very friendly. I was treated like a long-time customer and it was my first time there. They made my dog feel comfortable and was very gentle with him. They truely care about animals! They also worked with me and explained my different options and how much each option would cost so I could make a decision before any work was completed. I won't go anywhere else!!

I just had a visit this week with my Aussie pup and was truly impressed with the staff working around the present virus situation. This is the third canine partner (Kaci the Moose a 110# Chesapeake made it to 13 years of age, Ryder an adopted 60# formerly abused Pitbull cross who shared life with us for 12 years, now a 37# rejected Aussie, which joined us a little over a year ago) this clinic has helped to support or partners through sliced up chest from tin, allergic reactions to grain, and day to day routine care.
