If I could give 10 stars I would. Each time I called they answered and were very sweet with all questions. When we arrived we were greeted and shown around and Al took my husband and explained the grounds to him. The grounds were immaculate and sites are very level, perfectly grassy, full hookups and did I mention you can walk to their town if you wanted too? Bowling alley, shops, eateries etc. cute little river that flows on the outskirts of their property, very serene and relaxing here. Close to i80 so it’s convenient too. Rates are very reasonable. If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate this is a great Rv park.

Nice little campground with grassy level spots. Management very friendly and accommodating. Nice area to play with your dog. Wild turkey's and deer visit often. Only the second time we've had the opportunity to use Passport America in two years. The only reason I regret staying two days was the noise from the grain silos next door and the train horns which seemed unnecessarily loud and long at times.

We loved it here and didn't want to leave! This isthe perfect little stop right off highway 80. Wideopen fields with amazing views of thesunset and plenty of space to throw the ball forthe dogs. There weren't many other campersthere so it was very quiet. The guy at the frontdesk is so down to earth and fun to chat with.He even has some cool vintage items for sale.Very small town vibes and a very comfortingsafe place to stay. Full hook ups and no strictcheck out time. Don't let your dogs get in ordrink from the creek, it runs through a cowpasture. They also close at 9 and don’t allow after hours check-ins so make sure you get there in time. You want want to miss the sunset anyway. We will definitely be back!

The campround isn't fancy, nor is the owner fancy. What you get is a decent full hook-up site wothout a pad for a low cost ($25/night or $20/night veteran CASH only)Then you get several acres of tree lined fields, a creek and a bridge to walk around helping you relax. The owner is down to earth, laid back and friendly.

We are currently relaxing as we listen to the rain falling. Other sounds you will hear while here are the horns of the approaching trains. There really is a small creek in a corner of the property, with a bridge across that would be great for photo ops. The host/owner enjoys collecting various antiques, some are in the office, while others, like the frame of a Model T are out on the property. This is a smaller park, but we felt welcomed by the owner. There is a two swing set by the office, and an old fashioned mary-go-round there as well. He accepts Passport America, but is reasonably priced even if you don't have that membership. While it is just a short distance north of Route 80, it's far enough away that highway noise doesn't impact those staying here. It's a very short walk to downtown Chappell, a small country town. We would definitely return here again, but if travelers are looking for a resort, this isn't that. Just a comfortable place to relax as you travel.

Not a "destination" park. No playground, no game room, no bouncy pad just a great place to spend the night. My kind of place! $20 for veterans is fantastic. Easy on and off from the highway. FHU is great! Owner is very down to earth.

Was greeted right away and escorted to our spot. Nice clean place to stay overnight without having to pay for amenities that aren't needed. Easy to find right off Interstate 80. VERY reasonable rates. Passport America accepted. We had a full hook-up, 50 amp service with pull through site driving a class A 45' coach. Several small restaurants in the area. You can hear trains a few blocks away but with a fan and air on didn't bother us. Friendly small town vibe.

We spend a week here because the price was right Passport America gave us half off or nights stay. Which ended up being $12.50 a night with full hookups, good TV stations over-the-air and great cell service.

Excellent spot for Passport America. $15 cash full hookup. we stayed only 1 night. Huge field to play baseball w/the kids. There is a train so if you’re a light sleeper this place might not be for you (we kept the fan/ac going to help block the noise) Would stop here again

DO NOT STAY HERE!A Campground Host met us when we pulled in and told my husband she was going to put us at the back where there was plenty of room. This would be the far west end of the Campground where there was indeed a spacious grassy open area where our pup could stretch her legs. Well, sometime after 5:00pm that area began to fill up with A LOT of Telecom trucks and all of their equipment. That's not even the worst of it! In the early evening, they began to commune, and there were A LOT of men hollering and drinking way into the nighttime. We were parked right next to them! My husband finally went out out around 10:30, and politely asked if they would keep it down. They apologized and said that they'd move on down which was 11:00. I had fallen asleep, and at about 1:00am I woke up to some man screaming! I lifted my shade, and saw him in the doorway hollering! I have no clue what was happening. Needless to say, we neither one slept that well, and our pup was upset too. There were at least two dogs running around without leashes as well. This campground is very loose with any kind of rules just know that! My husband stopped and told the host about our unpleasant experience, and he was apologetic, but he seemed clueless about the group of men partying into all hours. I can't speak for anyone else but ourselves, but if you're enticed by how cheap it is, then think again! This is one campground that we'll never return to. Just so you know...my husband had introduced himself to them much earlier in the evening, and they are staying there all summer until SEPTEMBER 1ST! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ⚠️!

A perfect example of you get what you pay for! An adequate place to stay if you don't mind being constantly swormed by flies and don't plan on sleeping at all with the long lasting noise of trains EVERY 2 hours blasting their horns as they pass by!!! The next time we're in the area we'll keep going!

This beautiful spot is still open. Unfortunately they have been experiencing some phone problems this summer. If your thinking about stopping here, don't think just do. They are open, very affordable, and beautiful area. So glad we found this gem even if their phones aren't working.

We love staying here. It’s so convenient to the highway. The local town of Chappell is tiny, but has everything we need.I can’t say enough good things about this family campground. Friendly is an understatement.

Stopped over for a night going through Nebraska. Full hookups, clean toilets and showers. Price is excellent. Trains very close and frequent but that didn't bother us much. The place itself could use maintenance but it was quiet and mostly empty and we couldn't really complain given the price. Please fix the swings as they are a safety hazard. We would stay again.

Awesome! Great people! The price was unbeatable. They had really good wifi. Office had variety of antique goodies for sale. Nice trees and very quiet and peaceful besides occasional train. Would definitely recommend this place!! Had plenty of room for 32' RV and passenger van. Right next to a small town with gas station.

Great spot right off I 80 for an overnight stay. Full hook up for $25 is hard to beat!Clean showers hot water. Maybe not great for a long stay sites are close and not much shade but the price and amenities are great if you’re just passing through.

Great little campground at very affordable price. Friendly hosts escorted us to our site — level FHU for our 38ft rv with tow. Spotless bathrooms. Could walk to town. Does have trains — but didn’t bother us. Easy to get to from highway. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a quaint campground that offers pull-thru level sites with full hook ups (no cable) in a small town near the Interstate. The owner was very friendly and rates were VERY reasonable. He does not accept reservations but that was not an issue on the day we arrived. We camped in a 40 foot motorhome with tow vehicle and did not have to disconnect. Would definitely camp here again if traveling in the area.

Great stay here for one night. The owners were very friendly. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Very nice and laid back and quiet. Plenty of grass and space for kids to run and play. Perfect frisbee area! Yes, there are trains right nearby at all hours... but I am a train nut, so no complaints from me! In fact, about 90 minutes away is the Union Pacific rail yard in North Platte, NE. Be sure to visit the Golden Spike Tower!

What an amazing place we found in the middle of nowhere! The site was level. So level I thought about not deploying the levelers! They made arrangements for our forty footer with TOAD so we did not have to unhook it. We were able to walk to town. The grocery store had everything! We passed the bowling alley, eatery so there is a place to get a meal right across the tracks. Everyone in town was so friendly! I also enjoyed the very old farm equipment on display. There is a loading terminal right beside the campground that was interesting. Everyone mentions trains so I will too. It was neat to see all the working type trains come through. The amount of times I was awakened at night by the train: ZERO! I love the sounds of a farming community. I love this place and look forward to our return.

Wonderful overnight stay! The owner is welcoming. The grounds are beautifully maintained as are the bathrooms. Sites are mostly pull-through. All sites have water, electric & sewer.Town is a short walk with a couple good options for a bite to eat. We were able to get ice since the owner doesn't keep it in the slow season.

Friendly people! Got in about 9 pm, fellow that runs it came right over, 25 bucks full hook up, led us to the site, so level just pulled right in. Awesome water pressure! Trains close by but hey, the good outweighs the bad! The restrooms were spotless and excellent showers! The owner builds awesome aderrondac chairs too!

Nice little park. Well kept. Back in spots have great views of the creek. Only 12.50 a night with Passport America. But, if you're not into trains, this is not the spot for you. Lots of trains, lots of whistles.
