The whole store is great, but this review is for they guys at the back firearms counter. They are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I went to buy a new scope for a rifle, they showed me several, were very patient and even walked me outside to look through a few to make sure I got what I liked best. Once I picked what I liked they even installed and sighted it in (25 yards) using bore sight to help be close at the range. Thank you for the great customer service!!!

One of the very finest Ace Hardware stores ever in my personal multi-state experiences, and not just the physical store and it's wares. They are the knowledgeable staff who really make this place what it is. You won't waste a lot of time getting the answers you're needing about the plethora of projects you have going on, as the advice and suggestions you'll receive here are almost certainly spot on. They know of what they speak and likely have stocked what you'll be needing.Then there's the rear of the store. It like a small armory, a fine range of various firearms nicely being displayed in a wall-long display case. If you're needing a firearm and cannot find it here then you may not really need one after all, the selection is that great, with very knowledgeable people staffing this section as well. Highly recommended store.

We were just visiting family in town and had noticed the very nice ACE store. Since we were just visiting I didn't really have a good reason to stop until I actually looked closer and saw the great big letters saying "gun shop". Naturally I was obligated to check it out! Very nice sporting goods area and a wonderful selection of firearms. Very helpful people here. The store appears to be fairly new or recently remodeled. Clean and nicely laid out.

I'm not one to leave a review or complain about customer service but I was deeply disappointed in Ace Hardware today and especially their male associates working between the hours of 2pm and 3pm.Today I went into Ace hardware to get some PVC piping and fittings. While looking for the fittings I approached an associate and asked for help. When I asked "I'm trying to find some fittings for these 4 in pipes..." then went onto to explain what I was trying to create, he quickly said "it's all in this isle" and gestured to the current isle I was in, then abruptly walked off, I tried to ask for help but he just kept walking.Instead of helping me he headed over to another associate and they started whispering about a female and both started laughing. (Not saying that female was me, but it wasn't positive talk, that was obvious) He then avoided eye contact with me or moved to a different isle when I went to again ask for assistance. I clearly needed help and asked for it, I'm 5ft tall and trying to fit pieces to a 10/12ft long pipe. It was beyond obvious I was in need of assistance. He just kept avoiding me.After 30 minutes I finally gave up and I decided to take my business elsewhere since nobody was willing to assist me with the pvc pipe and fittings like I asked. As I was leaving he was pulling his drink out of the BAIT fridge (gross) and chugging it at the entrance. Then quickly ran off.I went to Bomgaars instead where not only was I assisted with the questions I had by several associates, but the associates as well carried the large pipe out to my car, and even cut it to size for my project. There was such a drastic difference in customer service. My business will no longer be going to Ace Hardware.Also I was deeply disappointed to see not a single associate wearing a mask in Ace Hardware , as someone with health problems that made me incredibly uncomfortable. The least they could do I have respect for their customer's health.

the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. the store is clean, warm, and inviting. the parking lot is a magnet for trash unfortunately but the exterior maintains a decent curb appeal.

I have been to a ton of Ace Hardware's around this country. Chadron's has to be in the top 3. The customer support here is so incredible it's almost intimidating. I mean, the second you are in the door, you will be greeted, asked what you're looking for and then immediately taken directly too what ever it is you are needing. If they do not have it, they let you know right away, so as to not waste your time. Which, has only happened once. I was looking for something very obscure.The gun shop is incredible as well, rivaling that of the Bass Pro and Cabellas. Very knowledgeable and very informative with any questions you may have.They have a good amount of fishing equipment as well.All around, this is a great place to shop.

The entire staff at Chadron Ace Hardware is amazing. Customer service is a dying art but these guys are keeping it alive. Every single time I walk in, like magic someone is there to guide me right to the product I need. They even let me play with the toys, today they let me spin one of these cool hand flyers by the registers today. Keep up the great work fam.
