The store is well stocked with good deals, but there's been an issue every time I've been there: rude employee behavior, dismissal by employees, nonexistent employees...Self checkouts won't recognize sale items, but often no one available for the regular check out.

Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised to fine items I am needing & sometimes not. Not too organized inside, & clerks have a lot to do unpacking boxes from delivery trucks & still tend to customers. Perhaps hiring part time help on certain days would free up clerks better.

I would give this place a zero if possible. My wife and I stopped in on Labor Day from out of town. There were carts in front of the plastic cups so my wife moved one about 18". A lady named Ashley, who said she was the manager instead of apologizing for then being in the way and asking if she found everything decided to attack my wife for not putting it back after moving it. When my wife said she was trying to get something Ashley continued on the attack. I asked for her manager, which see said she was. When I said I would be talking to corporate she responded with, "I'm not worried about my job dude.". When I asked for her name she walked away.If Dollar General is any good she won't be employed after my call on Tuesday.

No real organization to the store or directories to were thing are at checkout line gets long and can take a bit for you to get checked out but great prices like any dollar general has if on a budget and don't mind a wait every now and then this will be the store for you

Convenient location right on hwy, was able to get the things I needed and save me from having to drive a lot further to a larger Dept store.

The staff is very friendly. There was only one person checking out at the time but the manager did come up to help when she saw 5 people waiting.

It's close to my house and if you need only one or few things it's quicker and easier to run in there instead of Walmart or other big stores

They are so independent. They act like they don't want to be there. Unfriendly. If there was another store in GI I know the Broadwell store would be closed.

I was pleasantly suprised. When asked if I found everything, I mentioned I couldn't find something the cashier went and got it for me. This was in Central City, Ne.

Kinda of dated, but still nice. The portions were very small for the price. But all in all the food was tasty.
