I brought my dog in mainly for injections so she could get her permit for the city. The secondary reason was for a possible yeast infection that I had been treating with pad wipes that I had been given bore. When I walked in the receptionist didn't even look up. She asked who I had and told me to sit down. When we eere called in the receptionist said they couldn't read what injections she was due for from the other clinic so the vet told them to call to find out which they either diddo or didn't tell me because it was not part of the itemized list that I should have received. They focused mainly on her possibly having a uti which they said they had to do an ultrasound for and I asked how much it would be. 60.00 I had never heard of an ultrasound for a uti check my dogs were always given a urine sample. I inquired about the fact she had an inverted Varina and how much that might be. They refused to give my dog her parvo and rabies shot because she was on antibiotics for this minute uti they supposedly found.she was not yet on antibiotics so the could have given her the injections so I could get my legal permit. I have always had Boxer and I have never been refused injections because of a uti. That was a lie, especially since it was minutiae and she was not on antibiotics yet. I went to the front desk to pay which went from a 60.00 ultrasound which I wasn't even sure was done since they refused to let me come back and a 48.00 office visit to 221.00 bill which they did not give me a signed authorization receipt. They did give me a itemized slip to show how much surgery would be which required my authorization yet the charged me 100.11 for antibiotics. The Only way I knew how much those were was because they were on the surgery receipt had I decided to have it later. I gave them no authorization to pay for antibiotics that cost over 100.00 nor would I have signed one if i knew the cost. My dogs have always been charged for antibiotics which were about 5 to 20.00 dollars. When i called to complain i was given attitude and laughed at over the fact they didnt give me a reciept or what they charged me for. mostly the antibiotics which she threw up when i gave them to her and now she wont eat. I called other vets who confirmed she should not have been refused injections because she was GOING to be on antibiotics but was not yet on them. The reciept for the surgery said they needed my signed authorization for charges yet i was given no reciept for that day and i signed nothing authorization for antibiotics that cost over 100.00 and i never would have taken them. These people showed no courtesy or professionalism at the front desk and none of them can obviously do their job correctly. Even mcdonalds gives you a receipt even when they mess up your order. I did not authorize any medications, i did not sign for then, and i was refused to go back and see what they were doing which other vets had no problems with. I Should be getting my 100.00 returned to me as they had no authorization to give me meds that cost over100.00. I never signed anything for that. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE unless you want to be lied to, laughed at and pay a fortune for anything you did not authorize. I will make sure any of my friends and family do not come here, and post anywhere i can about this. I am also considering filing a complaint with the board and the bbb if they even belong to it.. they will lie and charge you for unauthorized items and not give you any reciept so you know what you are charged with. please do not let them "take care" of your babies unless you have deep pockets and dont care about any danger they may cause your animal for refusing treatments that can be given. There is no professionalism here and they will laugh to you about their lack of treatment.

These vets are so good about seeing my babies when they get sick. Unfortunately, my kids seem to get sick on the weekend or after hours (Murphy's law) and they are always very responsive to our my concerns. Also,they are good about working out treatment plans that allow me to keep my babies at home, when possible. I always feel comfortable with the treatment plan and know what to expect. Lola thanks you for helping her out and letting her stay home!

I have been with CC Vet Clinic for over 20 years. I have seen many doctors in that 20 years. The current doctors are very knowledgeable and they teach you how to do things to take care of your pets so you dont have to keep going back. The new clinic is awesome and they can provide more services that they could not before. Thank you for all you do.

Excellent! Came in with questions and was wamly greeted. Doctor even took the time to look at some pictures I had taken. The office got me in very quickly that same day. They were extremely patient with my skittish pup and took their time & remained calm with him. We are new to the area and I am grateful to have found our new hometown vet! Oliver is already feeling better too! YAY!

I liked Dr. Bader. Felt she was very thorough, but didn't recommend unnecessary tests. Made sure Phinn was comfortable with her. Asked several times if I had questions. Gave him meds and clear instructions to help my 8 yr old pupper.I'd say this veterinarian is a keeper!!

By far the best experience I have ever had in any veterinary facility. They got me and my dog in right away without any hesitation. My senior dog was having breathing complications among other things, and they were able to correctly diagnose him in 45 minutes. I thought I was going to lose my precious boy, and they not only helped my dog but they kept me calm too. I will never go anywhere else

We have had two dogs with longtime illnesses and they are so very helpful and knowledgeable about the diseases. They helped us to know when we should start making end of life plans, and we're very supportive when it came to that day. And they even let us know it wasn't quite time more than once. Would highly recommend all their services.

What a great veterinarian clinic! My boy Banjo has never liked going to the vet, but he is excited to go to CCVC. All the staff is very pleasant and professional, Dr. Lee and Dr.Wurtz are kind and knowledgeable and happy to explain their reasoning behind a diagnosis. CCVC goes above and beyond to keep my dog happy and healthy!

Wonderful service! I will call and they will get me in within a coupke of hours! When my dog had to have surgery last year they were wonderful at taking care of her and calling for updates once she got home. They know us and its always a great personal experience.

I was in town over Thanksgiving and my corgi was acting odd. Called CC Vet and they were extremely kind and accommodating. Got my pup in that afternoon and received some great peace of mind. Wonderful people and a great facility!

Amazing!!! Both my boys Ranger and Rocket (pups) love everyone that works there! Everyone is always soo friendly and gets their tails a waggin! Excellent service, good homey feelin and the staff and Docs are Great and compassionate.Rocket the night before the 4th of July decided to play super man and had to get some gnarly stitching on his face.. the Vets were amazing the after hours doc calmed us down reassured us Rox was fine and he was back to his old self in no time at all.We love our vet and are soo glad we found people who love our boys just as much as we do!

Love the Dr's & Staff at Central City Veterinary Clinic. Both of my Great Danes & my Munchkin cat always receive compassionate, top quality care for all thier needs. Other members of my family also bring thier fur family members here. We dont live in Central City but gladly drive the 35-40 minutes for the Top quality care recieved.

Went to clinic to rescue dog after dog was dropped off by law enforcement. It was reported that the dog was a stray. Clinic staff provided rabies vaccination prior to releasing the dog.

Central City Veterinary Clinic has incredible customer service. They made our first visit with our new puppy a very special event. We were greeted by Michquel Bonser and felt so welcomed. We also received excellent advice in taking care of our puppy from Dr. Allison Mettler, DVM. Grateful we have them here in CC. We love Dr. David Lee too!!

If I could give them zero stars I would, but the lowest aloud is 1. Don't ever take your pet here for any type of treatment. The Doctor is a pet murderer. My family took in a 100% healthy 11 month old puppy to get her spayed and a few days after the surgery she passed away. The most simple surgery the Doctor couldn't get right. And the worst part is he didn't take any responsibility and had no sympathy or remorse. And he didn't even offer any condolences when hearing of the puppies passing, just wanted my family to bring her in so he could cut her up again to see what he did wrong.
