I recently came to the Ashland area due to a temporary job change. When I needed something, my supervisor just said to go to S and L in Ashland and they would take care of you. My first time in the store I felt welcomed and they were eager to help out in my needs.I always try to use local when I can and this Hardware store has not let me down. Granted, it’s not a big box , but it’s big enough.Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Always buy my plants there in the Spring. They have a good selection, fair prices and I find they are well taken care of and usually 2-3 times larger than other places I have bought. This Boston fern was $20 and probably 3x size of others I saw selling for $15 at Walmart/Menards. Best mums ever in the FallIf this review was helpful please hit the “like” button below. Thank you!

They always seem to have what I need. They may not have the biggest selection like the big box stores in the bigger cities, but they've got the necessities. But the real thing that keeps me coming back is the service. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be taking advantage of their mower service when next spring rolls around. I also can't wait to see what their garden department looks like.

Limited inventory, but that's what you should expect from a small town hardware store. This isn't Home Depot. That said they are super friendly and helpful and when you are in a pinch for something they might actually have it.Be sure to say hi to the store cat. He's cool.

Great to have such a nice hardware store in town to offer the essentials. Very convenient! They are a UPS drop-off site, too! Always friendly and helpful service.
