I could say anything that could explain to people how amazing Porterridge is. They treat you like family. They treat your pets like family. Dr. Porter is one of the smartest people I have ever met.If it seems this review is too good to be true, it isn’t. We had a very sick kitty and our then vet told us to put him down. A friend recommended we bring our kitty to Porterridge. We did, 6 years ago. They gave us 6 more years with our kitty which was such a blessing. They are a blessing to animals and humans alike. We have even adopted 2 kitties from them that they saved. I have attached a pic of one of them.Thank you to Dr & Gwen Porter & your amazing staff. I’m so happy our other animals get to see you too.

Send your dog to the vet to get her teeth cleaned and you get a hysterectomy instead! Then they blamed us by saying we sign the paper but they wrote code on there and I don't know what that means. Then they went on about well it needed to be done anyways but that's not the point. Used to recommend them highly will never recommend them again and will never return

Took our new puppy for her first checkup and couldn’t have been more pleased. Doc gave her a thorough exam, explaining what he was doing, and took the time to answer all my questions. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. If you need a great vet without paying an arm and leg, I highly recommend Porter Ridge!

My pup was not eating for a couple days and acting weird, I called and they got me in right away even when it was busy. I had amazing care and they are very knowledgeable on what is best for your fur baby. Highly recommended Dr Porter and his coworkers. They make you feel right at home!

Dr porter actually let’s you come into the office with your furballs..& he was Wonderful with my cat.... Roadie has never had a “good” experience at the veterinary offices and if I’m with him.. I can keep him calm... highly recommend his clinic and he’s Extremely reasonably when you get your bill!! Thanks staff for great experience!!!♥️🐾

They have taken care of my giant dog Chief since he was born. Always kind and gentle with him. They are affordable and give good advice without pushing products. I drive 45 minutes one way for my pets care as I trust this team. Thank you for loving my dog as much as I do!

The office staff is very helpful & always willing to give you the best service possible! I have been going there for years & just LOVE it! If I was living in Nebraska for longer I would continue to go to this Vet clinic. They are very personable and took very good care of both of my dogs at their annual check up. I would definitely recommend to anyone living in the Ashland/Greenwood area.

Asked for our dog to be put down. They wouldn't but instead did expensive muscle therapy and was told she would be fine in a few hours. The next morning she was unresponsive and we had to put her down that night. Wish they would respected put wishes and listened to us. Will not be going back for our other pets.

There is NO other place I would go! If you believe in fighting for your pet and willing to put in the work then this team here will fight with you.
