Heard there was a larger Dollar General close to my town, so I took the grandbabies there to each get one thing of their choice. The new manager (Wayne I think) was working by the door and my grandsons fell in love with him immediately. He helped them find the toy area and they went crazy trying to decide which thing to get. He then directed us to the snack and cereal area where the choices were unending. My trip became more expensive than I had planned, but it was definitely enjoyable. The staff and item selections were great and iI will definitely frequent this store from now on!

*Note: this happened today*Honestly, I usually don't have a problem coming in here. They have great stuff. But my mother and I went in and I am guessing the assistant manager Jodi was having a horrible day. I know the matchine was messing up and we were being very patient and were in no hurry. But the moment we got to the cash register she started throwing things (her drink) and slamming it on the counter so hard it would bounce off. (Did this SEVERAL times!) And was yelling at things really loudly and being really unprofessional. She made my mother and I so uncomfortable we almost just walked out. I will never go back in there as long as she is still employed there. Her yelling and language was really uncalled for. It made it seem like it was at us for her having to do her job and ring us up. If I could give zero stars on her I would.

Honestly….I’ve gotta say it’s a great store! I know the head manager personally and he’s a great guy!But the assistant manager Jodi, is an extremely rude and disrespectful person, and it makes me afraid to go in there. This location has honestly lost my business because of their lack of standards for cashiers that they hire, and for the simple fact that Jodi’s behavior towards people is absolutely disgusting. I know I’m not the only one who has issues with her!!!!If she is gone, then, and only then, will I start coming back.

My wife and I stopped in to pick up a few items for my mother in law. I walked over to the water fountains where I was treated very rudely by the lady at the register. She snapped at me asking “sir, can I help you?” I simply replied “can I get a drink of water?” To which she responded “I guess so!”. Very disappointed in how I was treated at this location. I left the building because of how she spoke to me and I’ll never return.

I feel this company as a general needs to have at least one adult working the store, nobody ever offers to help you with anything and when you do track someone down to ask for help they simply seem discusted you interrupted their day. New management would be a positive in most stores I have shopped at.

Check the food and drink before you buy. A lot of it is expired (this goes for multiple locations). Also, masks are required, but some employees don't bother wearing them. Wear a mask, and visit this location before it gets gross and cluttered like every other DG.

One of the nicest Dollar General I have ever been to. Clean, well organized and the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant.
