Very nice selection of groceries. They have a very nice fresh produce section with lots of options. They carry Topo Chico in a bottle case. I have found that their options are a pretty good variety of difference from the other Whitefish grocery stores. They have a self check out section as well as staffed check out section.

As a disabled person, it was hard to shop here. The aisles were too narrow, hard to reach things, open cooler doors, etc. Plus the motorized cart was awkward, one wheel wasn't even touching the ground! I had no help getting one until the last second. I had to bend over and unplug it myself.Also, the checkout people are being TIMED?!? We customers NEED to be able to SEE what we are being charged! Pushing the cashiers pushes WE, the CUSTOMERS!! STOP TIMING THEM!

Apparently the first Saturday of the month is Senior Citizens discount day. The shelves were run through. However, the staff were really helpful and were willing to guide and lead to every question we asked. Levi helped us with our groceries out to our car. Natalie opened a register lane as well. We will be back, hopefully with full shelves.

We got sushi here and it was the best grocery store sushi I have ever had. Also, my Mom's cart ran out of battery power. The staff was so extremely helpful finding one that worked and saying they can help us out to the car as well, if needed!

Apparently it's unusual to shop, and than stop to have a cigarette in the parking lot. Before getting back in your vehicle. It warrants the attention of management. Even though I was not doing anything illegal, or bothering anyone. I go out of my way to avoid people for this reason. People can't mind there business. They got to insert themselves where they are not wanted or needed. They have to offer unsolicited opinions. I mean God forbid you take a break in public after a long nights honest hard work, at your job where you pay taxes. I hope you guy's can learn to take it easy on the disabled. It may be unusual to take a break in public, but after 27 surgeries and having three types of arthritis destroying my spine. 11 of the surgeries having been on my foot, which was destroyed a car accident. It hurts so much all the time. I can't breathe. I see all black. I needed a break. But apparently it is unusual and I deserve to be treated like a freak. If this is how you treat your disabled, I don't feel the desire to shop there again. I deserve better.

I’m really disappointed. I come to whitefish for business and my company’s headquarters is based out of Kalispell so every now and again I’m sent out to Whitefish for jobs. And so far without fail. Every time I’ve gone to this Safeway, the people have been rude. They haven’t said have a good day or greeted me, or offered to help in anyway, And trying to talk to them in the checkout lane or self checkout line when I had issues with my items, I was made to feel as though I was bothering this employee. I understand that it must be grueling and miserable to deal with so many different kinds of people during the busy seasons, such as winter and summer, But there’s not really an excuse for being rude and dismissive to customers when they need help with canceling items, And checking ID for alcohol. So far three times I’ve gone in, and I’ve tried to be friendly I’ve tried to smile, I’ve tried to even make jokes to break the ice to some of these workers, and all I get is shunned and ignored. I don’t know if I want to keep going to this Safeway store because of the treatment I keep receiving every time I go in. It’s been three times now. I’m not here all the time. I come for business and I get my dinner and take it back to the hotel with me. Just seems really disrespectful and dismissive to have somebody act as though you are a burden just to deal with and that they make no attempt to even be friendly to some of your customers. I’m so disappointed. And this location is really convenient for me because it’s just right down the road from my hotel. But I think I’m gonna go somewhere else after the three times I’ve just been dismissed and disrespected here.

The cashier's aren't the nicest people the last three times I visited I felt as though they were looking down on me. Granted I probably was not at my best just having stopped by after work. I really got the feeling I was not welcome there.

The lady behind the deli is so rude. I stopped after a medical appointment and asked to have a clean meat slicer because im celiac. The woman who helped me was happy to help but another woman can up and said next time they would not accommodate my needs. She was so unnecessarily mean. I’m a customer and she went out of her way, with other costumers waiting, to “ tell me off”. Wish people could still have customer service.

Very nice store. Ages beef avaliable. That's rare to find. Store is fun to shop but...... it's pricy compared to other grocers in the area. I'm speaking of the same type items. However. They do carry some extremely good products you can't find elsewhere.

Sharon the cashier is rude and inconsiderate. She didn’t greet me and had a bad attitude. She was put out because she had to put away an item I didn’t want. Poor poor customer service. When She handed me my receipt she didn’t say thank you and/or have a good day. She screamed at her partner I have to go put this away!

This has been a great store in the past. The location, and availability of parking is spot on.As the valley has got busier and workers are in short supply, Safeway seems to have suffered more than most. Supply chain issues have also ravaged the shelves, it is frequent to see large gaps and missing staples which is still very much an ongoing issue.The store continues to struggle to get what stock/produce it has on the shelves - frequently out on pallets and trolleys throughout the day blocking aisles and causing obstructions. I understand they can't get the nightshift staffed for that work. Generally the workers could be a little smarter/professional in attire, and ancillary areas like the customer toilets can often need attention - overall it feels a little untidy and shabby despite being in a relatively new building.Over the past few months there has been an increase in checkers on duty, which is a good sign and the team is always friendly and welcoming, and happy to help you find (or not find!) what you need!

Very nice clean store. I enjoy the bake goods and the deli has a HUGE selection of items! Small sitting area to have a cup of coffee (Starbucks inside) or your lunch (hot food here too with a soup bar). The meat department has very nice already prepared meals (stuffed chicken, flank steak roll and more). The produce area is large with a good selection. The wait time to check out hasn't been too bad -- only around the holiday's. Nice wide isles and very bright lighting. One of my favorite stores in the Whitefish area!

Best grocery store in the valley! Tom is always working with his staff the keep product on the shelves and a smile on their face. Only place that is organized and clean. Dairy looks fabulous every time. The staff (Samatha Gamble) is helpful and kind. They always know where everything is. Thank you for all your hard work. It really shows!

Store is clean, staff is not always friendly but most times you find the friendly positive that makes it worth coming back. Parking is my main concern. Not designed for big vehicles (anything bigger than a prius will find it a very tight fit).

I love this Chic and modern grocery store. They're very classy in their presentation because of the community that they service but their prices are not extravagantly different. they have the best roses in the valley hands down that last weeks Beyond any other place I've found. They do have Starbucks which is great. The staff are friendly and helpful.

this store survived better than most but it is still struggling to keep the shelves stocked and keep cashiers at the register they are severely understaffed and keep cutting back services, the prices are higher and you now have to check yourself out and bag your own groceries. like everywhere else. there's no upside. and you still have to buy 8 or 10 of an item to get the sale price who needs 10 sour creams or 10 gallons of milk?

Over time I have grown to like this store more and more. They have expanded their selection of natural and organic items, and I was thrilled when they started carrying Ellenos Yogurt! (Try it, you'll understand). I can almost always find what I need, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I go here Daily, the staff is excellent Friendly is a understatement, they have become part of my daily routine. Good Produce, Good Bulk, and Good Drink Selection. Sales can he amazing if you make it in on time.

There was a time when they were always competitive but now it is common for them to be higher than 2 stations a block away. I only go there when I've earned the 10 cent discount. Their pop and candy are high. However, the employees here are so friendly and helpful. I do like interacting with them.
