I recently purchased a set of skate skis, poles, and bindings from the shop and have been very content with them! They sized me appropriately and everything fits well. Additionally, the skis I needed took a while to arrive at their shop due to being a less common size, but the shop was up front about lead times, happy to contact their distributor to get my size, and diligently kept me in the loop on the status. Everyone in the shop that I interacted with was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful! The timing of the ski delivery worked out well for me too, as I was able to purchase them during their Nordic sale! I will certainly be back for bike parts and skis in the future!

The staff, services, and products here are fantastic. After buying a new mountain bike online I came in here to check out their gear, I should have come here first. I ended up buying my wife a new Kona full suspension MTB, 2 Bell helmets, a Kuat bike rack, and much more. This is the only shop to deal with as they are knowledgeable, friendly, and even service my bike that they didn't have the opportunity to sell me. This summer I wrecked at Legacy and dented my helmet, other shops were less than helpful so I drove up to Whitefish and they ordered me exactly what I wanted rather than trying to push what they had in stock like their competitors. I tried the other shop downtown WF and felt like I was overcharged and not appreciated. We live 35 minutes away and have 2 competitor bike shops along the way, but Glacier Cyclery has earned our family's business and first call. Thank you for your exceptional staff and store.

We stopped by to rent a fat tire bicycle. The staff were very friendly and got us set up with the bikes quickly. They also helped with reviewing local trails to find a good place to ride. The bikes were quite nice. The tires are super fat and you really can roll over almost anything and get traction even in very icy spots.The experience of biking itself was quite a bit more humbling. It was hard at first because in March the trails were very icy, but after a while we were rolling.

Stopped in on my bike-packing trip in the Whitefish, MT area for some repair parts. I was helped by Racer (yes that is his actual name) and discuss the remainder of my trip into Glacier National Park. Racer not only provided me some local knowledge about the current road and trail conditions within the park but also spent the time to help me choose and plan my best route to rid within the park. All of this knowledge for buying just 2 spare tire tubes! Thanks Racer. Your knowledge helped make my biking in the park easy and worthwhile!

3/26/24 update-today I took home my beautiful new gravel bike, the second bike purchase from Glacier Cyclery & Nordic! I got my mountain bike here a couple years ago. Once again, a fantastic bike buying experience with lots of help and guidance around some new features to me-electronic shifting and tubeless tires. Thanks to Vanessa, Erica and the rest of the crew that helped me get my new Giant Revolt gravel bike! If you need help with a new bike this season, definitely check out this shop!I just got my new mountain bike here and can’t say enough about my amazing experience especially working with Vanessa to select my bike and help with adjustments when I picked it up this week! She made it fun and I ended up with a beautiful bike! This is a great shop, highly recommend it!!

The team at Glacier Cyclery is amazing. My derailer broke off my bike while I was visiting Glacier National Park and Glacier Cyclery was recommended as the place to go. They had the part I needed and helped me install and set it up. As they were so amazing I might just buy my next bike there any have it shipped to my house. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Came here to buy a bike rack. I showed up 10 minutes before I close. The employee stopped what he was doing to help me out. We purchased it and came out and help me install it out of my vehicle. Even when as far as helping me cut off my old bike rack. Power tools were needed. He went above and beyond and I can't thank him enough. Thanks again you guys!

Wonderful service. Riding the divide on my Cutthroat and my hydraulic brakes were fading. Shop personnel correctly diagnosed the problem to my brake housing (alternate option was more expensive brake head/piston replacement). Relatively inexpensive, serviced in 24 hours and I've been trouble free for 10 days now.

Rented full suspension mountain bikes and a trunk rack for the day. Bikes were mechanically sound and in good condition. Staff was really helpful with trail advice and post ride dinner recommendations.

Glacier Cyclery has a strictly enforced 48 hour *no-refund* cancellation policy for bike rentals. They will, however, take payment over the phone before telling you this and refuse to give you a refund if you need to cancel within 48 hours of the reservation. I made my reservation within 48 hours of the reservation time anyway, so it would not have mattered regardless. The reservation I made was supposedly non-refundable. I even called 24 hours in advance to cancel a reservation but was refused. 24 hours is plenty of time to re-rent the bikes this time of year. They offered half my money back if I promised not to call my credit card company and file a claim. Also, they are closed on Sundays but will charge you for 3 full days if you want to keep the bike past 5PM on Saturday; Saturday, Sunday and Monday. This was a very poor customer experience for a first time customer. I never even touched one of their bikes and feel like I got robbed by a bike shop. If you're looking for a Mountain Bike, just go down the street to Great Northern. They only take a 5% deposit if you cancel within the 48 hour window, which is totally fair. Other bike rental options in the area are even more lenient than that.

Rented a mountain bike from here for a trip to the area for a few days. Vanessa was a great help when we arrived to get us the bike and make recommendations for rides in the area. Two of them, Mountain Lion and Beaver Lake were right in the area and were great rides for me. The return was just as quick and the team was very helpful. Would recommend this shop.

Rented a bike to take up the Whitefish Trail toward Beaver Lake; an easy & pleasant ride to the trailhead from the shop. Gave my measurements on the rental form and the bike was dialed in perfectly when I showed up. Staff could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Really made my trip to Whitefish!

What a great shop. Had an above average experience. My shifters had some issues, I called and they were happy to look at it. All of the staff went the extra mile to take good care of me. From going outside to look at the bike so I didn’t have to wear a mask, to sending to out someone that was the road biking expert to help me map out a 100 miler. Pick up was swift and the price of the service was fair. I would spend my money here every time I am in Whitefish.

Amazing customer service…I brought my bike in for some routine maintenance and they ran into an issue when changing the bearings in my rear hub. It had a couple of issues due to a factory defect. They offered me a free rental and went above and beyond to fix the situation promptly. Very pleased with the clear communication and quick service from Tyler and the guys in the shop. Thank you guys for taking such great care of your customers! Definitely will be back!

Great friendly and knowledgeable shop to rent a range of bikes to ride local trails. They were happy to help with trail info and suggestions, and I was able to secure rentals for my brother and I in relatively short notice. We had a great time riding, and I would definitely rent from them again as their rental fleet is top notch!

This is the best bike shop in the Flathead Valley and I've been to them all! My bike needed a tune and a few other things. The mechanics were professional yet personable and explained everything very well. They also followed up exactly when they said they would, very appreciated. Other shops could learn a lot from these guys; although, I won't be going anywhere else so whatev!

First took my bike to the "other" bike shop in Whitefish where I was told both my back and front struts were both blown. This was odd as it was a new bike that I had barely used. I decided to bring the same bike to Glacier Cyclery for a tuneup and no mention was made to me of any issue with the struts. In fact the bike works like new again. And it looks sharp as well. Highly recommend these guys (and gals).

Trails are well-kept and the trees provide plenty of shade. Some of the signs can be a little confusing but it's an overall good ride.
