The Edith is a true American Gem. The owners and staff clearly care passionately about their guests, and it shows in the cleanliness and service of the hotel. The sitting room is beautiful and so inviting. After a long day riding showdown, sitting and getting tea or having drinks and playing the cards/games they have set out is a perfect way to end the night. In the morning they have coffee and fresh breakfast which was a great meal to get before snowboarding. Also the hot tub room in the back is so cool and very clean. The rooms were comfortable and very clean as well, which is a big deal for me when traveling.

This place! Such an unexpectedly fabulous treat to run across in rural Montana! Pulling up to park it presents as a clean but rather usual country hotel. Walked in the door and my jaw about hit the floor 😂 Might just be me, but my happy meter was pegged! The hot tub was great, clean and has a cozy vibe. The rooms have the cutest touches. They even have a little free library which I found a stellar read in. The staff? Amazing. Breakfast which we didn't even know was served? Fantastic. If you're ever in White Sulpher, this place is it!

The Edith is a convenient place to stay before launching on the 60 mile Smith River float trip. This is my 2nd time staying at the here. The first time was under different ownership. While they were also very friendly, the new owners has taken service and friendliness to a new level! Plus the remodel looks great! It’s a very clean hotel with an extra friendly staff that I can’t recommend enough of!

I was surprised when I first walked in at how beautiful the lobby is! It is so chick, and retro romantically decorated I actually said "wow" when I first walked in. That feeling of euphoria carried through to the rooms - we got a King Essentials room which was spacious, the bed was made beautifully, and the kettle in the room is just so cute! The rooms were extremely clean and had everything you could need - coffee, tea, toiletries, fridge, small freezer, microwave, ice bucket. The continental breakfast was fantastic - frozen breakfast sandwiches, toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs, pastries, coffee, tea, cereal. The lady who was working the desk when we check in, and when we left was fantastic, so sweet and helpful!!Thank you for everything, we will be back!

This was my first and not my last time at the Edith. I had the good fortune to meet all 3 shifts and everyone I met was incredible. I moved to Billings about 6 weeks ago and I'm an avid snowmobiler. The Edith is in a great location to get me sleep, exercise, food and fuel before heading to the little belt mountains to ride. The room was great, arguably too romantic for a single guy 🤣🤣 but I slept great and felt entirely comfortable. I will be back. Soon and often!! And feel free to follow all future adventures, 📷 mailmantobillingsNearby activities: Showdown mountain is nearby and the little belt mountains are nearby. A haul of restaurants are down the street and one is next door.Safety: Doors are coded to your room and a latch once you're inside. Staff is on duty at the desk day and night.

My husband’s family has a tradition of meeting all together for Labor Day. We decided on White Sulpher for this trip. We booked the whole family at the Edith. We loved our time! The hotel is fabulous, clean and cozy. Loved the mornings with coffee, breakfast and my favorite, the dogs. The staff was friendly and helpful. You guys are all awesome! What a beautiful surprise of chic, classic and elegant design in a rural Montana town. Friendly staff, eager to assist. I especially love the fact that plastics are not readily used. From coffee cups and shampoo containers in the rooms to real plates, glassware and gold silverware at breakfast. Wow! What an amazing transformation! The Edith is stunning inside with a friendly, welcoming ambiance. We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed being able to lounge and play cards in the common area. The interior decorating throughout the entire hotel is modern and quite enviable. I don't think I have ever experienced a hotel where so many different people felt comfortable to enjoy the space and gather together. The staff and service were impeccable and being able to get discounted Tix to Showdown was so convenient! The breakfast was perfect and honestly, it was nice to connect with friends for a weekend instead of just being plugged in and streaming from a screen. All the details in the rooms and common areas really set The Edith apart. Can't wait to come back!

I stayed here 3 years ago when it was under different ownership and called the All Seasons Resort. It was a real dump back then! I won't go into details. But last year it was purchased by the owners of Showdown Ski Resort and totally updated. New paint, carpet, decor, furniture, beds, practically everything! It is beautiful! Beds are very comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was terrific. And they can sell you your lift tickets for Showdown right at the front desk. It is very evident the new owners took great pride in making this a true gem of a hotel. All in all a truly great experience!

All around great experience staying at the Edith. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well furnished. The interior design of the main lobby is second to none in central Montana. Staff was welcoming, attentive, and friendly. I appreciate that management is inclusive and supports their employees, including individuals with disabilities. I was also pleased to see that they support other local businesses by providing their products to quests, such as the delicious quiche! It’s a great place to stay while you are visiting beautiful Montana!

Edith Hotel is a must have experience! The staff make you feel like you are guests of their home and are always smiling and so kind. The lobby is full of games, beautiful decor, and a melting pot of people! They even have unpasteurized raw milk. The attention to details is unparalleled in my experience and is equivalent or greater than Ritz Carlton! This is a must stay when visiting the area or skiing at Showdown! World class service and accommodations!

Simply outstanding. The staff, management, and owner treat each other and all of their guests like family arriving for a holiday weekend. We will stay here again and again. Our kids and pups were welcomed with open arms. All of the guests that we visited with were happy and comfortable which made the stay so enjoyable. I want to thank everyone for making my family feel welcomed when they visited me. Couldn’t ask for a better crew of folks. Thank you Nicole for supplying a card to add to my present for my mom and Caroline for putting my gift into my mom‘s room for me. Thank you to Maia for getting my mom into a room I requested and thanks to Erich for helping me extend their stay an extra night at 10:30pm. 5 star service all around. If I didn’t live in town I would definitely stay here. One last note for everyone at the hotel, my sister the coffee fiend very much appreciated the instant packets in the room, as well as the 24 hour coffee available in the lobby. We 💜 Edith.

It’s all about the details, sumptuous bedding, comfortable bed. Ceramic tea kettle and Stevia sweetener. Well appointed snack room. Love the thick lotion and bath products. The decor is super cute and I love the book balcony, fireplace and main dining sitting hall. Excited for local baked goods for breakfast. So glad we stayed here during a ski & hot springs trip with my teenagers.

We needed to change our reservation to a different day hours before our check-in time. They we most accommodating. When we check-in they made sure to say each of our dogs names at check-in. We were traveling with 3 large dogs. They were absolutely wonderful with us and our fur babies. ❤️ This is our second stay here in less than three months. Can't wait to go back and see them all again. Made us feel like we were part of the community. We spent my birthday weekend skiing Showdown and The Edith was the perfect overnight spot. There’s a big hot tub for sore ski legs, cozy rooms and a cute little nook upstairs with games. They have a nice, modest gift shop stocked with Showdown swag, Smith and Rogue gear, snacks and toiletries in case you forget something. Did I mention the lobby? It’s an absolute showstopper! The details are fantastically curated. Plus you get to enjoy a great continental breakfast in that space with local baked goods like quiche, muffins and caramel rolls. Pay attention to the details as they are sure to make you smile. Great job to Katie and the entire Showdown team! We will be back!

This hotel is just lovely! It is warm and inviting. The interior design is fun and eclectic. The new remodel has added so much character. Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Rooms are clean and well kept. Morning breakfast selection was perfect. They even had a mobile pizza bus just outside in the parking lot. Can’t go wrong with fresh wood fired pizza! If you have fur babies, this is a dog friendly establishment. They love the four legged friends. I can’t recommend The Edith enough!

The crew at Showdown did it again. The eclectic, artsy vibe makes this place a phenomenal stay for your ski weekend. From the luxurious soap and bath products, to the fresh flowers and gold rimmed cups, no detail has been overlooked. The bed, pillows and linens are stylish and comfortable. This little gem, nestled in the heart of White Sulfur Springs is a spectacular find.

What a pleasant surprise! The hotel has been recently remodeled. New paint, carpet, and room furnishings including thick new bedding and furniture. New tub and shower, and new quietac and heating unit. Very friendly, professional, and courteous staff. The lobby is bright and cheery with nice furniture and pictures. Breakfast pastries and quiche were freshly prepared by a local bakery. Highly recommend if you plan to stay in White Sulphur Springs.

What an amazing hotel! The remodel is beautiful. From the moment you step in the lobby you feel at home. The staff are friendly and inviting and the amenities are top notch. It is probably the most pet friendly hotel I’ve been in, complete with a dog washing station! They have paid attention to every detail! This is a must stay!!

This was the coolest hotel ever! They just remodeled it and had it down to the tee. Most comfortable bed I’d ever slept in, large and nice shampoo/conditioner/ hand soap/ body wash. Cute little gift shop! The black ceiling are something that I never would of thought about but goes really well with the walls, thinkings of going home and painting! Thank you for being in one of the most amazing towns, we will be back. -MN
