We had a little anniversary getaway here and fell in love. By far the best hot springs we have been to. All the pools were amazing. It was only 20 degrees this weekend and the water was piping hot and so relaxing. FYI the white floaties are just concentrated minerals. We were concerned about them from the reviews, but decided to take our chances. So glad we did. Our room, 301, was spacious, clean and updated. Only thing i would recommend is hooks in the bathroom to hang wet suits. Still 10/10. We will definitely be back. ❤️Rooms: Clean and updated.Walkability: Within walking distance of restaurants/bars.

I'm not an overly fancy person but I it's a bare minimum to expect a place to be "maintained". I went on a weekend which was probably not the greatest time as far as being crowded.The rooms that I saw were very outdated, the gutters were falling down, the paint was peeling off the outside of the buildings. Pools are fairly small and stained dark brown around the edges, little kids were wearing regular pull ups instead of swimmers so the pull ups were hanging from the inside out with water filtering out of them back into the pool. Absolutely gross.I am told by others that the pools are indeed drained completely every night. Hopefully cleaned and disinfected tooI went for a little relaxation and was disappointed at the conditions

Just stayed this past Thursday night in room 205. The price of that room has gone up to $205 which seems like a large jump in the last couple of years. We have been coming here for years and have never seen the pool water so dirty. The Friday morning water was cleaner but still full of white floaties that looked like people's dry skin. It seems like the owner has not put any $$ into improvements to the guest rooms. The beds are always good and the sheets and rooms are clean but the rooms are looking very tired and worn. Paying more and having the pool dirty does not inspire my confidence or make me want to bring friends like I have been doing for years. If there is a problem with the water coming up from the spring they need to fix it.

We stayed at the Edith but payed to go here. This is the 2nd time that the water has been horrible. Last night there were white floaties ALLLLL over in each tub. Got there at 430pm. Got so grossed out that even my 7yo and 12yo wanted to get out after 10 min. I've been going here for 15 yrs and have never seen it so bad. Then my daughter got sick, stomach bug + fever after being there. We won't be back unfortunately and are sad about it because we used to LOVE going there.

This motel is a hidden gem! The pools are wonderful. There are two large outdoor pools, one a little warmer than the other. The pools are in a sheltered inner courtyard, surrounded by unique and whimsical original paintings about Montana. The atmosphere is basic friendly western. There is free coffee and a communal microwave. The rooms are updated enough to be simple and clean. Food is at a restaurant within very easy walking distance. The entire point is the sensational pools. The beautiful mountains in the background don't hurt anything either!Safety: Very very safe.Walkability: The town is tiny. Of course you can walk anywhere in it.Noteworthy details: Hot springs, mountain views.

We made reservations 3 weeks in advance, they messed up our rooms the week before and when we asked for a manager they said she was out for 2 days. Come to find out there was no manager only an owner. Showed up and they were not organized and when we went to the pool we played some old country music and everyone loved it and made requests in the pool and the owner kicked us out of the pool. Made a big scene and everyone was bummed there was no more music. We asked management to choose their own music and they freaked out so we left. We will never waste another dollar on this place as it's for California people only. Local people do not fit in. WBiggest waste of 615 dollars to date. Bad prices and horrible staff. Do not spend your money here, it's a complete sham. God awful service and lies on the Phone for weeks, we would rather pay the super 8 than ever stay here again. The pool water is dirty regardless, don't waste your montana earned money. They are out of state greedy people who aren't trustworthy. So disappointed.

Water quality is complete garbage these days and they can't control the Temps. The cheap liners they installed are failing and ballooning causing safety issues.Take the extra drive to Chico.Never going back here again until they can address these major issues with the pools.

I have not had the pleasure of staying at the Motel but I regularly drive up to luxuriate in the various pool where you can pick the terperature you want. And the murals on the walls are incredible.

I rented a cabin, #111. It was over $150. I could have stayed in Vegas for a week on that. It was not a cabin but a series of rooms next to each other. The other guests were running diesel trucks and hitting each other up against the walls until well after midnight. I was a grandma in a room with my grandson. There was no phone in the room to call the desk for security to come. The heater was from the 60's and so loud it kept waking us up. There was a hole in the bathroom door and the bottom sheet on the box spring was all ripped up. If anyone in management reads this I request a refund. I am a Montanan, not some out of state rube to be scammed and will be telling everyone I know.

We always just came up from Helena for day trips but decided to book a night for labor day weekend. We got the 169 rate (180 something with tax) and I expected us to end up in the old building and was totally cool with that. But to my surprise, we got a room in the new building and it was pretty nice! Very basic but super clean/new and well taken care of. We had a great stay and am hesitant to spill the beans to other people how great this spot is so it doesn't get too crowded LOL.Walkability: All food and bars walking distance!Food & drinks: Jesse Peppers and the Stockman both very good.

The rooms were just fine. The hot springs pool was great However it was grossly over priced. Last coat of paint on the exterior was what.... 20 years ago? Charge whatever you want on the way to Yellowstone I guess.....Rooms: Clean and comfortable.

Broke down 30-ish miles away on the highway and within an hour I had three locals recommended staying here.Rooms are clean and nice, plus Front desk staff is very helpful! The (hot!) pools are amazing as well if a little busy on weekends. Price is OK but a little steep for a motel.This would be a VERY good spot for a ski/sled vacation or romantic getaway.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable but the decor was tired. Furniture was damaged on all edges and the paint was flaking. Rooms need remodeling. The Spa and pools were great and after a long motorcycle ride were just what we needed.Rooms: Need decoration and new furniture.Nearby activities: Castle museum was goodWalkability: Can walk to local bars and restaurants.Food & drinks: The Jawbone restaurant serves top quality food just up the road.

We have come here for years. This time, no jets in the warm pool. 1/2 the showers have no water and none have any soap. 2nd 98° pool was 103, too hot for my wife. Looks like they are running it on a shoestring, not keeping up with maintenance. A big disappointment. We used to come 4 times a month. Don't think we're coming back. Bummer, and it's so close to GF.

To the sweet woman draining the springs last night at midnight...you are dedicated, hardworking and we will continue to come back every chance we get. We enjoy Quinn Hot Springs for the ritzy experience...we love White Sulphur for the MONTANA local experience. The room was clean and basic - PERFECT for our kids. Recent reviews warn of signs all over. I for one appreciated those signs...the public is not kind and is often reminded to respect establishments no matter where you go. No this place isn't for everyone and that's okay =)

We stayed in one of the little cabins. We had to walk across two streets kitty corner to get back to the office and get the key to turn on the heater because the thermostat is locked up. Then you have to walk back again to get the towels for the hot springs. The hot springs pools were packed full of people. Not the place to go if you are trying to relax and let the mineral water soak in. I felt bad for the young lady at the front desk, she was running her legs off to make sure that everyone was taken care of.The cabins you can tell are for the overflow from when the motel fills up. The walls are very thin.

Horrible room! Stains all over the floor, pillows so flat it’s almost like not having one at all. The bed felt like you slept on the floor all night. The sign suggests good firm beds..They didn’t lie about that!!The Eagle’s Nest room was anything but a comfy nest. The furniture is very dated and old looking. The heater is right next to the bed so it blows either hot or cold hair directly on you all night unless you have it turned off, in which case you’d probably be very cold by morning. The kicker of the whole stay though was the room next to us (laundry room?) had a beeping every 1-2 minutes like the batteries on the smoke detector needed to be changed. We listened to this ALL NIGHT LONG! We had a little dog who was freaked out all night because of the beeping. Everything closes up at ten so there’s nobody to get ahold of. We kept the fan/heater on all night trying to drown out the beeping. I would NOT recommend this place at all. I’ve stayed in many hotels and this is by far one of the worse and for the price! It was definitely not worth $132!I wasn’t expecting a five star resort but this was so disappointing. The pools themselves are fine but nothing I’d drive 3.5 hours back to.There’s a new hotel right up the street that looks very nice. I’d suggest staying there and then paying the fee to soak.

We stayed on a Sunday night so it wasn't too crowded. Definately smelt like sulfur with iron deposits visible, so if that smell bothers you, you might not enjoy it as much. It felt amazing on the skin, and was super warm. Was a pretty good deal to stay the night in the cabins and soak. We were able to soak at night and in the morning, included with our stay. They had coffee in the morning too. The atmosphere is like any other motel pool as in its surrounded by rooms but outdoors uncovered with beautiful paintings on two of the walls. The tenderfoot cabins were great for the price. They had everything we needed and were fairly nice. Also pet friendly. It was nice to have our own separate place to crash for the night. Very cute outdoor sitting area right outside the cabin was pleasant as well.
