We did the 8 hour lower Yellowstone loop tour which takes you down to Old Faithful and other nearby sites. Our tour guide was Kenny who was very knowledgeable about the area and personable making sure that the tour bus was a comfortable temperature and that every one had a good angle to view the sights and wildlife we came across. Specifically want to shout out his skills at getting us all as respectfully close to a mother black bear and her cubs as possible without endangering us or the animals. We also really enjoyed that he knew some more obscure off-the-road stops that most tourists entirely miss which ended up being absolutely beautiful and unspoiled. The box lunch option for the tour is a bit on the pricey side but it also was really good consisting of a sandwich, chips, apple, water, cookie, and mint. If you don’t want to pay for the box lunch you are also totally able to bring your own or you have time to stop and buy food at the old faithful general store. My only other recommendation for the tours would be to be more upfront about announcing what major stops your specific tour will be going to. The site gives you a general idea of what you “may” see but you won’t know for certain until you’re on the bus basically. There were some stops we were hoping to go to (namely Prismatic Springs) while others we ended up going to we had already covered ourselves the previous day (Gibbon Falls for example). Overall though the tour was still super enjoyable and we had a great time!

We went on the Old Faithful snowmobile tour and had the best time! Our guide, Carson, did a great job leading our group and giving detailed information at each stop along the way. This was our first trip into Yellowstone Park and I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see the highlights of the park in a unique way. The whole crew worked together seamlessly- from the checking in and outfitting of snowmobile gear to the trip itself and then the checkout process at the end. Can’t say enough good things about this trip!

We did the summer lower loop tour of Yellowstone witg Kenny. The bus was comfortable with excellent viewing. Kenny was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. We had great opportunities to see iconic sights and wildlife. We added on the box lunch which was tasty and worth the fee (sandwich, chips, cookie, mint, reuseable water bottle).

We live close to Yellowstone and every other year get the season park pass. I thought I knew a lot about Yellowstone but I’d never gone on a tour. This year for Christmas we surprised our kids with a snow coach tour and it was fabulous! Our 11 and 13 year old loved it so much. While they took turns sitting shotgun they both got to see coyotes that were right on the road. Our tour guide Jesse was a wealth of information and could even quote the books and authors that he got the information from. It was so impressive and I learned so much! It was our first time going to the park in the winter and the lack of crowds was awesome. Highly recommend doing this. Definitely going to come back for a snow machine tour sometime.

Our trip with Yellowstone Vacation Tours was on 12/21/23 and it was outstanding! I booked the tour back in January of 2023 after looking at the reviews for them and some of the other outfitters that offer the snowmobile tours. Chris was our guide and was a great split between just being chill and at the same time providing interesting commentary along the ride. We saw 3 differentdifferent groups of bison going to and heading back from Old Faithful which was awesome. We had to ride through a large group on the way back and Chris was excellent with giving the entire group instructions on how to ease past them and not cause problems. We also saw a bald eagle, swans, canadian geese, and a couple of coyotes that crossed the road in front of us. The ride lasted most of the day and we ate lunch inside a yurt with a fire stove warming it. We bought the lunch through them and rented the outer wear and boots from them. I highly recommend renting the clothing it was definitely worth it. We were worried that our kids might get too cold and at times it was 19 degrees, but the suits kept us plenty warm. I do recommend to bring a beanie and/or balaclava to keep your face/neck/ears warm. The handlebars and throttle were heated to help keep your hands warm which was really nice. Overall this was hands down a once in a lifetime experience and a must do if you are vacationing in the area.

Awesome tour! So much fun, would absolutely do it again. Rented the gear and glad I did, kept me warm the whole trip. Would recommend bringing your own gloves and something to protect your face from the wind. Guide Chris was awesome, the sleds were comfy and easy to drive, and they had heat for your hands which was a plus. Overall a top tier experience and would hands down recommend it! Best way to see Yellowstone with zero crowds!

We went on the Grand Canyon tour in February 2024 and it was amazing! Our guide, Dave-O, was incredibly knowledgeable about everything in Yellowstone and took great care of our group. We've enjoyed Yellowstone in Spring, Summer and Fall on our own. This was our 1st tour experience in Winter with the Yellowstone Vacation Tours, Old Faithful day tour. It was magical and perfect! The tall/bright yellow snow coaches with the giant tires and big windows just look inviting and fun...and it was! I'm not sure how we were in the luckiest group, since we got to have Jesse as our guide. He made the visually spectacular tour even more memorable, and safe. His love of Yellowstone was clearly communicated in his chocolatey smooth guide-voice narrative and insightful information. Jesse; my wife says she's in-love with your voice...I might be a little jealous; ha, ha! We highly recommend this tour company.

Snowmobile tour through West Yellowstone was amazing. I was in awe seeing bison, and other amazing animals in their natural habitat, the beautiful waterfalls, and of course the many hot springs to include Old Faithful. We rented snow gear and went with a guide for this 8 hour tour. Highly recommended winter adventure.

My wife and I did the Snowmobile Canyon Tour and it was incredible. I would recommend this tour for someone who likes to be in the elements and enjoys motorsports. My wife rode on the back of the snowmobile and was very comfortable the entire time (if you dress accordingly for weather). Amazing views and our guide, Adrianna, was so awesome. She pointed out all wildlife and made sure every person in the group was accommodated for. She masterfully managed a few crazy drivers in our group with ease.

We took an Old Faithful snowmobile tour with Yellowstone Vacations. Everything was easy and well organized. Our guide Harrison was top notch and spotted lots of wildlife for us. It was particularly cold to start out so he made sure to make frequent stops to check in and gave us a good amount of time at the Madison junction warming hut. Would highly recommend both Yellowstone Adventures and Harrison.

We did a snowmobile tour from West Yellowstone to old faithful. It turned out to be a very cold day with heavy snow. Luckily, they provided clothing and boots and we did not get cold at all. The trip was a bit dicey because of the weather but we all had a great time we definitely recommend using this tour company when visiting Yellowstone.This was our first experience snowmobiling, and would definitely do it again.

Took a snow coach tour into Yellowstone Park. Our driver and tour guide, Ken, was both professional and knowledgeable. His wealth of knowledge regarding the history of the Park along with the wildlife and Park features made for a very enjoyable experience. Definitely came away with a greater appreciation of the Park. We had the best time on our Snow Coach tour of Yellowstone with Roy. He was an awesome guide. Full of Yellowstone Park history, trivia and great jokes. This was a fabulous way to see the park in the winter.

We decided to come down from Big Sky resort and take the Old Faithful snowmobile trip. It was the highlight of our vacation. The booking and checkin process was easy. I highly recommend renting the boots and jumpsuit. My entire family was warm all day. The tour itself is amazing. Allie was one of the best guides we've had anywhere and made sure we were on time for the everything. You can tell she loves her job and the animals.The tour was about 60 miles round trip but several stops made it seem shorter. We shared the road with Bison, saw Old Faithful and Fountain Geyser erupt. We saw a bobcat and several thermal features and waterfalls. We've skied all over Colorado and Utah but this was probably the best thing we've done on any ski vacation including the skiing.

Amanda was a great tour guide. She made sure we had the most amazing time. She spotted Bison, coyotes, swans, geese, and more for us and stopped so we could get out to take photos. I wish the tour was longer as we didnt want it to end.

We did two snowmobile tours. Day one was the one to Old Faithful. Our guide was Roy. We had an absolute amazing time in the tour. We were very lucky to have come across Bisons on the road. And in one of the instances they were running with us. It was a very informative trip. Roy kept us engaged. We saw a bald eagle too. Did two basin walks including the grand prismatic spring and the old faithful geyser eruption.Day two was the tour to Grand canyon and our guide was Emma. It was underwhelming. We were the last group to start around 9.30am. Felt rushed at all the canyon viewpoints. We even took an incorrect turn, which needed us to do a reverse turn. And one of the snowmobiles ended up landing on the side of the road on the couple who were riding it. Luckily no one was hurt and we resumed our trip.Couple of important points about the tour. There were plenty of restroom breaks. The Old faithful tour will have restaurants but the Canyon tour did not. So bringing food is recommended during winter. We pre-ordered food with the tour. Was totally worth it. Had in fact ordered a vegetarian meal. They served us a hummus spread sandwich, apple, cookie, water and chips.About the check in - was pretty smooth and straightforward. We did not rent clothes.

Our snow coach tour with Ben out of Gardiner today was absolutely amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and made the whole day very enjoyable! He’s also a great photographer for family shots with nature in the background! Just book the tour, it’s well worth it!

Had a great experience and an incredible tour to see Yellowstone’s Old Faithful. The snow was so bad that they closed the park, which never happens in Winter, but our tour guide was great and got us the best experiences we could have hoped for.

Fantastic service and product. The only way to explore Yellowstone national Park in winter time. We toured the park via snowmobile which was very fun. We saw a pair of bald eagles and bison everywhere. If you don't mind the noise, exhaust and cold; this is the mode of transportation for you visiting the park.

We had John as our tour guide, and I have never met a more knowledgeable person on a myriad of topics. Truly one of the greatest tour guides Ive ever had on any expedition or adventure. Could not have asked for a better tour, we saw coyotes, wolves, bison, hot springs, mudpots, fumaroles, and incredibly geysers. It was truly amazing!

What an amazing tour! Our guide, Gypsy, was amazing and so knowledgeable about the park, its history, and the animals and land features of the park. He was great with our two kids and kept our oldest engaged throughout the tour. I cannot recommend you guys enough! As a travel advisor I am always looking for amazing companies to use later and I have no doubt I will be booking with Yellowstone Vacation Tours again!

4 of us took a winter tour to Canyon with John. We had an awesome day, and John was an excellent guide. We saw 3 different coyotes, an eagle, several buffalo, 2 moose, a fox, and trumpeter swans. We also had several hikes at Gibbon Falls, Norris, upper and lower falls of the Grand Canyon, and visited the canyon museum. We have done at least 8 other winter tours, and this day ranked in the top. Thanks for a great day!

A snowcoach tour is an awesome way to experience Yellowstone in the Winter. Jamie was a phenomenal guide. We did the Canyon tour and got to see wildlife and the majesty of a beautiful snow covered park. Even the boxed lunch exceeded our expectations.

Excellent tour with Mark on 2023/12/29. Excellent tour! Mark was very informative and interactive. The locations visited were amazing and we were very fortunate to arrive at both Old Faithful and Fountain Geyser in perfect time to see them errupt. In addition, we saw a couple of bull bison, a herd of bison, a couple bald eagles, a couple of coyotes, a wolf and several elk cows. We loved this tour and highly recommend going with Yellowstone Vacations. Their equipment is well maintained and comfortable to ride in. Thank you Mark!
