This place is fantastic! They were extremely nice and worked around my dietary needs. I got the salmon, and it was perfectly cooked with that soft buttery flavor that salmon should have. If you have the option of getting the huckleberry beer, do it! It's similar to a Blue Moon but with a twist.Dietary restrictions: They are great to work with you.

Had a wonderful experience on a Wed night. No wait at 6:30. Server was attentive and friendly. Ordered beef rib eye, bison rib eye. 2 wedge salads and a kid’s grilled cheese. Food came out quickly and was delicious! Both rib eyes were seasoned perfectly and cooked a beautiful medium rare. Only bad thing was that we were too full to have dessert. We noticed several tables ordered the bread pudding and it looked amazing. If you are visiting West Yellowstone, I highly recommend this place!Ps the check was a bit confusing as none of the prices matched the menu. Note there is a 4% resort fee and a 3% credit card fee.Parking: Parking available on either side of the restaurantKid-friendliness: They have some options for kids that are not on the menu - chicken tenders, hamburger, and grilled cheese

This place was a lifesaver! After trying a couple of different places in West Yellowstone that ranged from poor to mediocre at best, and not to speak of the abysmal quality of the “food” we consumed at the various establishments within the park boundaries, we finally found a place serving good quality American fare. Classic Buffalo wings, a nicely cooked rib-eye, and a good selection of beers definitely hit the spot. Service was really friendly, too. If only we had found this place sooner!

Was not very busy and enjoyed getting the extra attention from the waitress...she was even willing to make me a huckleberry jalapeno margarita that was delicious. Would recommend to all to visit when in West Yellowstone....I had the steak and shrimp kabob and my husband had the elk burger... Yummy. Would like to be able to get a beer flight in the future so we can try more beers:). Almost forgot... Save room for the bread pudding!

Stopped after a long day at the park. Wasn’t expecting the great meal we got. Looked like your typical bar and grille but don’t let that fool you. Ordered shrimp scampi and trout with a house salad and French onion soup. Everything was excellent and prepared well. Would defiantly recommend this place.

This was our first time at this place, and got two elk burgers, one with mushrooms, one with cheese. Tasty but a little overcooked, unfortunately. Fries could’ve been hotter and a little better seasoned. Very good service though and the atmosphere was great, and will like to be back to try other things. Looks like nice outdoor seating also.

This place is awesome! My wife and I stayed in West Yellowstone for 5 nights. We ate here two nights in a row back to back including our anniversary dinner. The first night we each got the Bison Ribeye(s). My wife got white parm truffle French fries and I had loaded mashed potatoes. Each plate came with asparagus. The second night I ordered the exact same plate. My wife switched to a beef ribeye. The ribeye(s) were perfectly cooked each night. The beer was cold. The atmosphere was spot on. We sat at the bar in front of the kitchen doors, everything that came out looked amazing! There was a very short wait every night but this is common anywhere in West Yellowstone. This is a definite must on your restaurant pick while in West Yellowstone!!

Oh! This is the best place we’ve been to in the last 20 days! A steak was finally done as ordered (rare), amazing shrimps kebab and buffalo wings - super juicy and tasty! Elk burger was a bit dry, but even that was compensated by excellent crispy fries. Awesome friendly service and atmosphere. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: kids are running around happily :)

Very busy in the evenings and waiting for a table was difficult when they say they won’t tell you how long the wait is.With that said the food is top knotch and the service was the best I think we have ever had.The artichoke spinach dip is the best on the planet but with everything you can’t go wrong.Bathrooms are so clean and dressed up so cute.I’d come again but not during dinner or lunch. Maybe brunch or drunch 😂

This meal was way better than it should have been on an off-season Tuesday night. They have a great selection of beer on tap, spirits, and wine. Double neat Bulleit Bourbon pours were a great start. Caesar salad was fresh and crispy. The Bison steak with onions and mushrooms was as good as any steak I've had this year. Perfectly medium rare with a nice sear. How they found good tender asparagus spears at this time of year I don't know. The loaded baked potato was hot as hell, as it should be, and I ate every bite including the skin. Topped off an already perfect meal with the Bread Pudding which was not only expertly made but a portion enough for two. This is by far the best West Yellowstone has to offer right now.

This place is a breath of fresh air compared to Wild West Pizza. Food was immaculate. Service from our waitress Tessa was outstanding (give her a raise, she was awesome!) Restaurant atmosphere was clean, inviting, and comfortable. Great music. Do yourself a favor, skip the other places, come here. Best food we’ve had in Yellowstone so far! Overall experience was DOPE af!

Everything here was great from their food to their customer service. It’s conveniently located next to the gas station so we stopped in for a couple of appetizers and a cocktail. We enjoyed eating outside in their covered patio. The truffle fries and spinach dip were elevated in both presentation and flavor and so was their huckleberry lemonade and hanky panky martini.

Love love loved this place! We were seated on the patio. All of the furniture is hand made and comfortable. Good selection of Montana beer! We ordered the wedge salad, burger and shrimp scampi. Wife love the scampi! Wedge salad was fresh and very delicious. Burger was wonderful. Our waiter was super nice attentive and friendly. Definitely will come back!

We had a great evening here, beers food and wine. Big selection of draft beers, varied menu that has something for everyone. The quality of everything we ate and drank was excellent. Service was on point, would definitely return.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp available to the main entrance, inside everything is on one level.

This place has only been open about 2 months and it is one of our favorite spots in West Yellowstone! This is where the locals go.We tried a lot of food and it was hit and miss (mostly hits!). When it was a miss and we sent food back, management handled it professionally and without any hassle. Love the open air concept.The bartenders and staff are fast, friendly and funny! We love Jesse.The buffalo burger, trout, and spinach dip were the best things we tried.

I so enjoy eating at Hanks Chop Shop when visiting West Yellowstone! We started our meal with the amazing spinach dip served with crusty bread rounds. I chose a cheeseburger which was done to perfection paired with the white truffle parmesan fries served with a tasty garlic aioli for dipping.I love trying different beers when traveling and Rachel, our friendly and efficient waitress suggested the Huckleberry Blonde and it was great! If you can save room for desert, I suggest you try the bread pudding- delicious!!At Hanks, it is obvious that they take pride in the presentation, quality, freshness of the food and that orders are made to the customer’s liking! Also the entire establishment is very clean and inviting and owners and employees are friendly and care sincerely about making your visit a memorable, enjoyable experience!

Glad we decided to have dinner at Hanks Chop Shop after long day at Yellowstone. Great atmosphere and nice staff. Service was fast for what we ordered. Our wedge salad was fresh and really good. Chicken wings were fried to my liking but not seasoned enough so had to dip with blue cheese. We tried their bison burger with onion ring, not as good as the regular beef burger but at least we can say we had some Montana Buffalo burger.

They had only been open a week but this place will be a gem in West Yellowstone! Cool vibe, good food and great bartenders! Probably a little pricey for West Yellowstone but everything‘s expensive these days! We had the elk ravioli in the lemon pepper trout both were very good. Plenty of big TVs at the bar and an open front to the restaurant patio provide a casual but chic atmosphere!
