My son forgot his hiking boots and used his gymshoes until they became unbearable to walk due to mud and cold. We looked for inexpensive boots that he could wear for the last hike. Everything was way over our budget, especially if he was going to use them once. We happened to drive by and noticed boxes set outside the establishment with a free sign. He was lucky to find some used boots that were his size, and we were so thankful to the store for doing this.In return, we went in and spent in souvenirs and snaks what we would have spent in economic boots.

I heard and read about Eagle's Store having an old time soda fountain. Having have worked summers in my grandfather's pharmacy in upstate NY as a soda jerk made me have to come check this out. The old cash register that totaled the amount, forcing you to make change in your head, the milkshake mixers, the soda dispensers, the old stools on a raised ledge...everything brought bake memories. Highly recommend stopping in for a milkshake, not a shake.

This is the best store!! I loved all the Yellowstone merchandise I got and the ice cream shop was so cute and delicious. Above all though my daughter left a toy stuffy she got there in the bathroom and was so sad we were already on the way home and I called and the owner is mailing it back to us. Above and beyond for there customers.!!

Honestly, wish I did not stop in this place. You walk in and the guy behind the counter does not say hello; just looks at you and glares at you; like he hates you and wants you out. Even after smiling at him and saying hello; my wife and I both did this he said nothing and just glared at us. Just like the stores in Mexico; this place is now just another tourist trap with the same little sweatshirts and trinkets that you can find at every other shop in town. Don't buy what you like right away you might go to the other shops down the street and find your things for cheaper like we did. We had several items that we were going to buy and due to our experience in there we just put everything back and walked out. They have a clearance section with no real clearance if you actually look at the prices of the same items that are out and the regular room no difference. Cheesy little holographic pictures of Bob Marley smoking weed in the window etc this place feels like a smoke shop not a gift shop. You know the original Eagles family who started this is rolling in their graves and is disgusted at what this place has become.

Says free ice cream for retail items over 50 dollars, but when you buy stuff, they will say this doesn't count and that doesn't count.

It is not really a grocery store it is more of a souvenir type store. It has a lot of snacks & trinkets but mostly t-shirts, sweatshirts & clothing. It is like a lot of the other stores in the stripe.

This is the worst shop ever!! BEWARE buying anything here or even entering this shop. This is run by some family goons who are solely here to make some quick money at the expense of others. Plus there are a husband wife duo who are so rude and keep scolding you while you are shopping. I would urge everyone to not encourage this kind of behavior by shopping at them.

Saw this great old fashioned soda fountain and was looking forward to a good old chocolate soda. They didn't know what I was talking about. Maybe they should google "Chocolate Soda" and learn how to make them and they wouldn't be empty in the middle of a warm day.

Seriously? A nearly $3 "Processing Fee" to use my credit card? I would have reconsidered my purchase or paid in cash if I had been told this beforehand. It feels really shady. Otherwise it's your usual cheap goods store with friendly people.

I really liked the historic nature of this store. It was the first store I went into after arriving in West Yellowstone and I was impressed with the selection and prices. Immediately found 2 cute sweatshirts, very reasonably priced. I hope this store stays there for another 100+ years! I took one star off only because it was disappointing that their soda fountain wasn't open.

This store was our go to place for unique items. Unfortunately, it has turned into just another junk t-shirt shop. No more jewelry, hats, hiking shoes, camping equipment or fishing lures. Our walk through was a huge disappointment.

Stopped here on a whim because we saw the historic soda fountain sign. So glad we did! The lady behind the counter was so friendly. The ice cream was excellent and the huckleberry cream soda made the stop well worth it.

Went in for some ice cream. Seems huckleberry is the local flavor since all the places have it. I got a double scoop in a waffle cone. Wow scoops were large and ice cream was great. It had a soda fountain but didn't try that. I would recommend it.

Reasonable prices. We found something for everyone in our group. The employees were amazing and so friendly with our kids. Love what we bought and the service was phenomenal!

Not much for a tourist store. There were some unique items but mostly duplicative of other stores in town. Service was also on poor. Even though we were the only two persons in the store initially, we weren't greeted or asked if we're needed help. No reason to go out of your way to shop here.

Staff here were super helpful in finding us a replacement bladder for a backpack. They were all very nice and welcoming. We went back for socks and they were reasonably priced compared to inside the park.
