The lady who helped me out was very kind and fast. I had the huckleberry margarita and the bison short ribs. The food came out quickly, and it was delicious! The margarita was really good as well, wish I could have had another one or two but I had to drive later. Would easily recommend to others and hope to return down the road when I visit Yellowstone again

The short ribs and the elk ravioli were wonderful! A bit pricey for a large family, but to be expected during peak season. All of the kiddos loved their food and they had enough to eat. We enjoyed the huckleberry cheesecake, and the huckleberry margarita was perfect. Although busy, the wait time was quick. We absolutely would dine here again.

“Where are you from?”Our waiter was friendly and asked every table seated in our section that question. A good ice breaker but made me wonder if we were sent to the “tourist section” of the restaurant.Overall a good experience though…Started with Wedge salad and Spinach salad which were both great. They ran out of the chicken (it was 7:15 when we were seated and they offer it To Go in larger portions, or maybe they don’t offer it to tourists?) so we ordered the ribs and the rib eye to share for 2 adults, 1 kid (kid didn’t like the kid options). Food came out quickly (entrees placed down before we were halfway done with our salads) and was tasty - rib eye was perfect medium rare and seasoned well, ribs were good (not dry as another reviewer mentioned). Felt a bit rushed to clear out as our waiter and the hosts were yelling back and forth about how many 2 tops and 4 tops were about to be available. I get it, they want to turn tables to accommodate everyone - just do it more discreetly.NOTE: they charge 3% if you want to use a credit card which I think should be posted on the menu before you order. We didn’t have $125 in cash so had to charge it.

I went here after spending most of the day at the Mesa Falls. I've never been to Montana, so since it wasn't that far away, I decided to get some food in Montana to end my day. I was in search of some wings, and Bullwinkles had some! Since they were only an appetizer, I decided to get some Bison short ribs as well. The wings were PHENOMENAL!! Crispy, flavorful, juicy, fall off the bone and big! I wish they weren't $13.99 for six of them, but they are good. The Bison short ribs were equally good! The staff was very friendly and the service was really fast! I didn't wait long at all! The food came out pretty quickly after ordering. The restaurant is fun. There is a little train set that goes around the ceiling of the restaurant that is pretty cool. Food is really good, but it is a little pricey for the amount of food you get. It is in a tourist town, so it kind of makes sense the prices would be higher. Overall, I had a great experience and do not regret going here. I would recommend Bullwinkles to anyone! Good home style cooking!

We were here as a large group and had the front area to ourselves. I had the duck with huckleberry sauce which was delicious. The duck was tender, juicy and tasty. My husband had a burger and wedge salad. The burger was a pre-pressed burger which he doesn't like. The wedge salad was beautiful in presentation but lacked enough dressing. I guess it depends on your taste and what you order.

Best place ever! We wanted to try some food that we can't get at home so we decided to try here. We had the Elk Ravioli which was tender and flavorful. The bison meatloaf was superb & the Walleye was cooked perfectly. The portions were a good size. We have seen huckleberry stuff in all the stores so we decided to try some of the desserts with it as an ingredient. We had the huckleberry cheesecake and lemon huckleberry poppy cake both were wonderful. Amber was our server and she was great. Definitely give this place a try.

Visited with family, ordering drinks (huckleberry margarita, beer) and dinner. We have eaten here before and loved it. This time the food was still good but the quality of the bison steaks were not as good. Very gristly. The roast duck was very good as was the fish and chips, chicken tenders and bison burger. Would absolutely visit again when we’re in town.

Food was sub par and the drinks were too. Order a beer and just get handed a can.The place looked cool and they had machines for gambling so that was nice.Waitress behind the bar was to busy to help anyone let alone be nice about it. The waitress was nice enough but made no promises as to when the food would show up. Her exact words actually. She wouldn’t even give us an idea of an hour or two hours just simply “I don’t know when you’ll get your food, are you good with that”All in all I wouldn’t consider it special, I’d just consider it a place to eat.

This place was absolutely incredible!!! The service here is absolutely amazing, everyone here is so incredibly friendly. The food was out of this world. The buffalo lasagna was absolutely insane!!! I thought it was a crazy concept when I saw it on the menu, but when we tried it, it will definitely blow your taste buds away. And this perfectly cooked medium rare bison tomahawk steak 🤤🤤🤤 melted in my mouth !!! Cheese curds with the huckleberry dip was great and the clams were 🔥🔥🔥The cooks came out to our table to make sure everything was perfect and the waitress was on top of everything!!! Definitely coming back here !!! A Plus Service!!!

It is attached to saloon and liquor store, nice selection.Vegetarian options: They had pasta.Dietary restrictions: I found plenty of not meat choicesParking: Parked on street.

We actually ended up here because the place next door had fallen victim to some bad scheduling or something. Our win, though. Bullwinkles rocks!!!Our waiter couldn’t have been any nicer, more helpful or more attentive. Recommended some great food. Kept our drinks full. Made us feel like family.The ribs were super tasty; not as tender as I’ve had but the flavor was solid. The meatloaf was amazing. Bread service is a nice bonus.You need to make sure to have lunch or dinner here. You won’t be disappointed. :-)

Wow! Delicious! Everything we had was delicious! The cheese curds with huckleberry sauce! So yummy! The fried chicken meal!! Like being back home! And the mushroom pasta was amazing! I mean amazing! This is a great place for anyone to get something they will enjoy! Great for kids too - there is a little train that runs along the ceiling.... so cute! We loved it!

We came to Yellowstone to visit and stopped in to eat. This is the best resturant in town. We wished we had eaten here every single night.We got a bison burger, elk ravioli, bison meatloaf. The ravioli was probably the best thing I have ever eaten in my entire life.For dessert we got carrot cake and huckleberry cheesecake. We can't recommend this place enough.

Eh, it was ok. we read the reviews and went with the elk ravioli. The sauce was great but the filling seemed under seasoned. The poutine was full of flavor and you should try it. The fried chicken was good, and the meatloaf was fine. we also had the pasta with mushrooms once again great sauce but the chicken was definitely not needed. The food was fine just a little over priced.

A Midwest girl Bullwinkle’s gave all the dive bar vibes.Food was good for bar food. Bison chili was ranked second after Linda’s mom. Chicken tenders and fries were solid. Cheese curds are good. Burger for a good ranking.The drinks selection was large and the beer was cold.Make sure to do the shake of the day. Be ready to have a good time.Service was great she was working her tail off.If your looking for food and a drink after a long day at the park this is a good stop.

We came in for dinner before Memorial Day weekend, so alot of the staff was still very new. We were seating in the back corner, and were kind of forgotten about for 10-15 minutes.Our server was pleasant, and helpful once he noticed we were there.I had the Montana meatloaf which was good, but for my taste it lacked seasoning, others may say otherwise.Overall all a cool spot.
