It was close to the end of the season so most of the shelves were bare. The people working at the store were very friendly. There were quite a few people working on the store, fixing coolers and such preparing for the store to close down.I wanted to buy water and they had packs of water at a reasonable price. They even had avocados and for a store far from town that can be something you rarely see. Although it is somewhat close to a big town it was still nice and also reasonable.I feel going there would be just fine in a pinch for the necessities camping near by.I would go ther again and if I go back next year and there is a lot more on the shelves I’ll switch it to a 5 star easily

Great for your trail, camping needs! A little limited but that's our fault for coming at the end of the season! By design though!

This place price gouges and has false advertisement everywhere, a package with only TWO bison Pattie’s is marketed as being 4 servings, their’s also no pricing on their bread because it’s so price gouged they have to trick you into buying it. This isn’t Hawaii folks bread should NOT cost $10 for a single loaf, a 4oz thing of honey was also $17 as well. The ONLY thing in here that was normal prices was the energy drinks. Even a can of ravioli that’s normally $1.25 was $5. This place would make a lot more if they weren’t trying to take advantage of people by price gouging I saw multiple people come in and go to buy something and realize the price while I was their and just put it back and leave, will never support a business like this that takes advantage of being the only store in town. Just fyi price gouging is illegal and I’ve already filed a complaint with the bbb.

Helped supply rafting gear I left behind at home (1,200 miles away). Quality merchandise, reasonably priced, friendly service.

Overpriced. Not all prices are posted which is likely on purpose. If you've shopped at the airport expect similar pricing here. Bear spray can be purchased here for $62.09. Bear spray can also be rented from Glacier Outfitters in Apgar Village for only $9.25 per day. Note that if you are you flying home, the TSA does not allow you to bring bear spray, even in a checked bag.

Cute little country store who sold me their only bottle of 500 Tylenol for $5. I kept asking if the price was a mistake???

Nice and convenient little place just outside of Glacier National Park. This is not a major grocery store, so don't expect grocery store choices.

Gift shop, knick knacks and Glacier area swag. Get your stickers or sweatshirts here. Right outside the entrance to the park, so super convenient.

Awesome little store conveniently located at the West entrance of Glacier. We stayed at the Fish Creek campground so were able to swing by daily for ice, snacks, and phone reception (if needed) with just a quick 5-minute drive. Produce is fresh and they carry a great variety of essentials and non-essentials.

So, anytime you shop inside of a national park you have to be aware that you have entered a zone akin to a sports stadium or airport. The prices just don't follow the conventional real world rules. That being said, there is a surprising selection here. A lot jammed into a small space. Employees are nice enough. The location on the west end of the park is pretty convenient. Limited parking by my recollection, but that was not an issue. Egress is fine even a the most busy times of day.

Nice staff and place to pickup touristy trinkets regarding West Glacier. As expected plan to a little extra for the novelty of things saying Glacier Park, etc. Picked up a cool mug for use and rememberance of a great National Park visit.

We bought souvenirs and ice cream in this little mercantile. The staff was friendly and the stores were well maintained. It is very beautiful area and family friendly.

Fantastic hikes, stellar views. Would advise not going during the melting season as the main road through the park may not be open. You can still see enough, but it will require driving an hour or so around to the other side of the park.

Grocery has a decent selection of food given the size, and a surprisingly good beer selection. Expect to pay up to double for most items though (hence the 4 stars).

Great little grocery store right before the entrance of the park. They stell pretty much every food item you can think of craving while at the park. Their fresh sandwiches and salads all looked good. We bought an amazing salad for lunch one day, it looked better than a Publix salad. It was so fresh and delicious.

The staff was super nice, we went here a couple times for our morning breakfast before we hiked. Their bison meat breakfast burrito was killer! They also are one of the few places open early.

Great little store. Had a lot of items to pick from. Some of the beverages are high priced compared to in town. But that is to be expected considering the location. Cashier was very friendly and quickly checked us out. We will be back for sure.

Good grocery store if your camping in glacier but it’s kinda expensive they have almost everything for camping and it’s close to apgar visitor center

Three stars for two reasons. Very few were wearing masks and the prices are outrageous. We got what we needed, at a price, and this was about the only option without driving dozens of miles to Whitefish or Kalispell. They have cornered a market for sure. We did get what we needed though.

The mercantile has everything you need for camping, picnicking, and hiking in Glacier National Park. It has food and basic camping supplies. It has a better selection than the store that's actually in the park. Prices are little more expensive. However, the store is only open during the summer season. So, support the locals and shop here.

Beautiful views loved it but as a smoker spending 230 dollar's on room should be able to smoke on balcony other than that was great little up tight but ok would visit again.

A bit higher price but they carries a lot of essential item you may forget to bring. I purchased a huckleberry beer and it was great.

More of a convenience store than grocery store. Some produce available and a small isle for grocery store staples. Prices are high but understandably, given the proximity to the national park.

they have a surprisingly wide selection of wines at fair prices but they sold stoves that didn't work with the propane they were selling and couldn't advise on the right kind to get.

High prices. No triscuits. Few fresh vegetables. No skim milk.
