What can I say about this amazing resort for campers and cabins. Clean. Quiet. Full of happiness. Plenty of walking trails, a lovely area for live music and cocktails. A great restaurant right in the park. Dog parks and plenty of clean restrooms, showers and laundry. Oh and did I mention the ice cream store? This KOA is about a mile from the West entrance of Glacier NP, which is a whole other review. We went June 10-17th 2023 and only had one day of rain so the weather was warm enough for shorts and perfect for a night fire in the provided fire pit. We got very lucky that while there the GTTSR fully opened and were able to travel from the east entrance all the way back to west entrance. People you run into are literally the happiest people around. Something about a beautiful place brings out your best. Camp staff were so helpful and friendly, they even deliver firewood and ice at your request. The sweet camp store was hard not to get all the adorable goodies they had for sale. If you have a chance to visit here I guarantee you will not regret it.

Gorgeous campground, very clean. Spacious sites with lush landscaping providing privacy and beautiful views. It is expensive, but that is to be expected considering the great location just minutes from the west entrance of GNP. You get what you pay for, and we've already booked our stay for summer 2024. I do wish they provided AC in the basic cabins. It wouldn't be unreasonable for the rates that are charged. But still love this campground. Probably the most beautiful I've seen.Rooms: Basic camping cabins are bare bones. But do provide mini fridge, microwave, ceiling fan and beds to sleep on. AC would be a much appreciated addition to the basic cabins.Nearby activities: Awesome location, just minutes from the west entrance to GNP with easy access to all the west side has to offer. I'm sure there are other recreational activities to do nearby but we spent all our time in the park.Walkability: Not walkable to anything.Food & drinks: They have a campstore with a few snack and drink options. They also have a cafe and ice cream shop. Prices are high, but it's a destination spot, and well, prices are high everywhere for everything. There are restaurants within a few miles and a couple small grocery options.

One of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed at! All other KOAs should aspire to be like this! The sites were large and level. The landscaping was amazing. The cafe and ice cream shop were closed because we went late in the season, but there was a food truck (we didn't eat there though so can't comment on that). The laundry facilities were great - plenty of washers and dryers (and they actually worked well!) and were very clean. We didn't use the bathrooms, so can't comment on those. The biggest plus was the staff - Everyone was super friendly! A++++ Would HIGHLY recommend

One of my favorite KOA's to date. Lots to do, clean and comfortable. We booked a camping cabin, and the beds were quite a bit more comfortable than others we have stayed at. Beer gardens were a nice extra, if pricey. Overall great experience

Awesome place. The staff is friendly and helpful. Beautiful mountain views. The pool was nice, ice cream was delicious. The bathroom showers were clean and had nice pressure!! They have 2 dog areas fenced in. One is just a small grassy area and the other is bigger and has a tunnel and rocks, a picnic table and even a faucet with a bowl that you can use for fresh water for your pups!!

This is by far the best KOA we’ve ever stayed at! Great amenities and a dream for our two daughters - beautiful new playground, pool and nightly activities. The beer gardens and restaurant onsite, make it even more appealing to us. We’ve been many times and most recently visited in July and stayed in a basic cabin. Grounds are well keep and everything is nice and clean. We can’t wait to go back again in September.

Absolutely love this KOA. The location is perfect for those seeking to get into Glacier with plenty of other places to visit close by.But you don’t have to leave! The grounds were well maintained and the amenities excellent. The dog park was large with room to run, the pools were large and clean, and the Bearstream (beer garden) did not disappoint with good beer and live entertainment. We stayed at a back-in with water/electric - we preferred this to some of the full hook-up sites as we were under tree coverage and central to the amenities.

This place is it!!!! Stayed a week and loved every minute. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The flowers and landscaping was beautiful. The sites were large and clean. The bathrooms were clean and always stocked. The Lazy Bear cafe was delicious. We loved the live music every night and Air Stream converted to a bar. It was a great way to relax after hiking all day. We will return someday!!!!!

This is hands down the nicest KOA we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a few through our 7,100 mile trip this summer. The stream, flowers all over the place, neat outdoor seating areas, ice cream shop with nice outdoor seating…..not sure where to stop but it was exceptionally nice.We parked here then took our Jeep into Glacier National Park only 2.5 miles away and toured that. Unfortunately, our schedule didn’t permit us to stay another day which we would have thoroughly enjoyed. We would definitely come back given the chance.

Nice cabins, with heater, microwave, and refrigerator. But the beds were so hard! They also had a free concert, but the amps were too loud and there was no escape! It seemed to last forever. They had food and ice cream available, but it was very expensive. The workers were very nice and professional. It's the prettiest KOA I have ever been to. Very convenient to Glacier NP.

Two huge issues there: 1. You are off a Highway with a lot of trucks braking. If your site is close to the road, there is no fence or anything to lessen the sound - very noisy. 2. Huge light over our spot on ALL night long. Made it feel like we were back in the city. Horrible to have that spot. Will stay in West Yellowstone again, not at that KOA.

Gorgeous views with wonderful service! My gorgeous floridian children loved the chilly kids pool in july! Lol. I enjoyed the views while the children played! I didn't venture to the adult only pool side. Huge playground. Wonderful music entrainment the nights we stayed. Loved the rib dinner. Walking trails surrounded the park grounds. It was stunning.

This campground is beautiful. We've stayed here twice, previously in a trailer and this time in one of the small cabins. It's not cheap, the cabin didn't have any A/C and there was a heatwave (mid 90's). In hindsight, getting a cheap, small fan would have made a huge difference. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is pretty good. There are events occurring regularly, there were a couple of live, acoustic performers on the Bear Garden and we attended a regular event, the Birds of Prey -- which is great! There are some trails around the campground and plenty of birds to see here. The campground is very close the the West Glacier entrance. This place feels almost magical with the fantastic landscaping and wonderful atmosphere. Great place to stay!

Best KOA we have ever visited. 2 Pools, a Family and Adult. Beer Garden with music every night. Great place to lounge and meet new camper friends, Great Dinners, compared to local restaurants best price and food. Ice Cream shop. West Glacier Entrance close to campground.A little higher price then most, however we thought was well worth it. All staff very friendly and helpful.Sites level and roomy

I don't really have anything to add that hasn't already been said...gorgeous views, very nice resort. Well maintained, the pools are saltwater which was a pleasant surprise! One of the highlights of our summer RV vacation. Only regret is that we didn't book more days.Overall, we had a great time and would definitely revisit.

Great location to West Glacier and Glacier National Park. Beautiful landscaping and the restaurant and “Bearstream” bar had tasty food and cocktails. The live music in the evenings was enjoyable. The park had adult and family pools, with saunas and a hot tub for the adults. Two dog parks are available - one near the pool was beautifully landscaped. We stayed at a landscaped pull through site - and would pick a different site classification next time. The utilities were not laid out well with the sewer at the far end - not allowing for a good placement of our RV (even with 25’ of sewer hose).Cost for 4 days was almost $700.Nearby activities: Glacier National Park was very close - make sure you get a Road to the Sun pass.

This review is specifically for the lazy bear cafe located inside the west glacier KOA:I appreciate the hard work of the kitchen staff, but there seems to be a need for more efficiency in preparing orders. On my recent visit, I had to wait almost an hour for an order of pancakes and two breakfast sandwiches, which is considerably longer than expected. This significant delay can be quite off-putting for customers, especially during peak breakfast hours. I strongly recommend management to look into this issue and improve the speed of service. The food was good, but the waiting time needs definite improvement.

This is an awesome place to come glamp. The “bear stream” is such a cute idea with local huckleberry inspired drinks. Cafe prices are reasonable. Lots to do here. It’s only 2 miles from the west entrance so the location is great. There’s a pool, nature trail to ride your bike or walk, and a playground for the kids. The pull through spot we had was easy to park in one shot and mostly level gravel. This is a well maintained KOA and you’ll love it. There was live music as well.

Over all the camp ground was very well kept. Most the the staff was very professional and well mannered. However, the morning of our departure, I received an email and text stating check out was at 11 am, among other items. At 1014, a member of the maintenance crew drove by our site. I was inside our camper getting items stowed, our children just got back from a bike ride - the employee asked our children if we were home. They said no (they didn’t know I was back from walking the dog) the employee then told them to tell us that we had 45 minutes to vacate the site. His tone and the way he spoke was not in a friendly fashion, rather he seemed more annoyed we were still there. In my opinion, this was uncalled for. We had already been reminded twice by the park check out was at 11 am. The employee was beyond unprofessional. We have stayed at plenty of KOAs and RV parks, this was the very first time this happened. It goes to show the this koa is purely driven by the almighty dollar. Don’t be fooled by their pretty facade.

Great resort with so much to do when your not hiking in the park. Great activities, food was yummy, the bearstream bar area was wonderful, the nightly music was superb. The grounds were very well kept, the playground was phenomenal, and all the staff we encountered were super kind. It's also very close to the west entrance which was wonderful.

The campgrounds are amazing. Very nice and a lot of things to do. BUT DO NOT RENT A CABIN. They are not good. I arrived and it was dirty, so I cleaned. One night the whole window (frame and all) fell out. I tracked someone down to fix it late at night, which kept me up. The next night the smoke alarm battery was chirping so again, little sleep. If you have an RV, great, but don't stay in the cabin.

We arrived at the KOA Holiday early because checkout time at our previous KOA wasn’t as far as normal (E Glacier to W Glacier) so when we arrived we were too early for normal checkin. I understood such but being in a larger trailer made killing time hard near W Glacier, MT. But after the staff sent a person to check on 2 sights one was available. The rest of our 4 day stay was great too! We enjoyed the ice cream, the delicious restaurant, tge live music and other amenities.Nearby activities: W Glacier had other activities but Glacier National Park is more than enough.

This is hands down the nicest Koa I have ever stayed. Beautiful wooded camping areas with spaces for rv's tents and cabins for rent. The grounds offer many activities for sports, play grounds, swimming dining, live music shopping and hiking. The facilities for showers and restrooms were modern and clean. All of these added to the spectacular views of the mountains.
