We visited Glacier National Park in mid-October (the last weekend before the season closed) and Paddle Ridge was one of the only lodging accommodations open and the closest to the west entrance of the park. It was about a 5 minute drive.Check-in and check-out was very easy and the employees were very accommodating if you were running late. They were also very helpful in giving us tips on what to do if you encounter a bear and also gave us a thorough demonstration on how to use bear spray which we really appreciated! The 1-bedroom cabin we stayed in was perfect for my husband and I and spacious enough for us to relax in after hiking every day. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The towels and linens were plentiful. I appreciated the facial tissues for my runny nose and kitchen napkins for our meals. We found the bed and pillows to be comfortable for a good night's sleep. The shower got super hot quick and the water pressure was great. The views of our cabin were beautiful and we also appreciated the BBQ grill and table outside to enjoy a meal. We didn't fish in the trout pond as we just didn't have enough time but it was nice to look at.Wifi worked great in the cabin and there is satellite TV. There is also a hair dryer and iron with a small ironing board which met all of our creature comforts. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Accommodating 14 guys was a daunting task but Jess, Hannah(?) and the rest of the reservation team completely exceeded our expectations! This was our first visit to Glacier so we had to relied on online searching, photos, and reviews to decide where to stay. Organizing a large group can be difficult but they made everything easy. Even when we had a booking mistake, they went above and beyond to make it right for us! If you're in the same position and you're searching for the right fit, you can stop looking. You won't be disappointed! The cabins were clean, comfortable, updated, and had everything we needed and more. One thing I would recommend is making sure you have groceries/snacks etc with you. If you're without transportation, there aren't many options within walking distance. The West Entrance to GNP is about a mile walk and there is dining and a limited market but the next nearest restaurant or supermarket is over 5-6 miles. These guys are the oldest outfitter in the area and they've truly found the secret recipe to making your trip a memorable one! Thanks GOC...Dem Boys will be back!

We stayed in the lodge. So beautiful! Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen is a shared space which is cool. Amazing view from the balcony. The gals in the check-in office/ gift shop were very nice and helpful. The lodge is just a few minute drive from park entrance.

We stayed at the lodge for a weekend and it was one of the best weekends we have ever had. The lodge was neat and clean and looked recently updated and the surrounding area is serene and peaceful. They had a pond and are surrounded by the trees. Our stay was better than we could have imagined. I’m glad we stumbled upon this gem. The owner was so kind and courteous with us throughout our stay. We had a guide, Kelsey, take us to a peak with a great view of the park. She also setup rafting tour with another guide Colley. This was a packed weekend and we did many memorable items during our stay. I highly recommend this place if looking for a place to stay and for their guided tours.

A week ago I posted very honest, but not very complimentary review regarding my wife and my disappointment with our 8hr raft trip and fly fishing teaching/instruction experience with Glacier Outdoor Center. One of their managers responded to my post very quickly, asked for additional insights into what had happened and offered us a very fair and equitable "fix". Glacier's quick resolution of the problem in concert with other folks very good/excellent reviews makes me realize our experience was an aberration and I have changed my review as a result. Thank you Glacier Outdoor Center. We hope to do business with you in the near future.

Stayed at the Lodge our room was on the 2nd floor. Very clean, towels, linens, everything! We arrived earlier than check in time and was able to check in 2 hours early, after they confirmed with housekeeping that our rooms were ready. Housekeeping ladies were very nice. Beautiful lodge and grounds, very well kept. We had access to fire pit and kitchen for coffee, tea, ect. The view is beautiful out the large picture windows. Just all around a wonderful place to stay. My favorite out of all our 2 week traveling across several states. Only one dislike would be the couple we travel with was on the 1st floor and could hear walking and noises from other rooms, particularly ours since we were in room above them. I would definitely stay here again though and recommend

Beautiful location. We stayed in the lodge and had a wonderful view of mountains and stars at night. The beds were very comfortable and the lodge has a nice big kitchen and family room with a bar area upstairs for the lodge guests. Coffee is available also there. It's all updated and very clean. We would definitely stay here again. The outdoor center ( where you check in) has supplies and souvenirs of glacier. We didn't do any scheduled activities but you can schedule them there easily. We were only a free minutes drive from apgar visitors center of glacier national Park. They also gave us recommendations of nearby restaurants. We saw the cabins they have and they looked like a great option as well although we enjoyed the lodge. We really loved the upstairs outdoor deck for stargazing. They also have a fire pit. Highly recommend staying here. Very nice and helpful staff and great experiences.

4 day rafting trip was incredible. Kelsey, Connor, Brandon, and Brock were awesome. Professional and still fun to hang out with. Food was incredible and camp sites were awesome. A little more communication on plans and options would be ideal but still incredible.

We booked their Homestead property for my daughter's destination wedding. 33 people stayed very comfortably on the property. Views are amazing. Secluded. Beautiful. Quiet. Clean. Each cabin/hostel and the big house are great. Wedding reception was held on site. It was so convenient and just beautiful. Staff is fabulous.

Not the best selection, but I got a pair of hiking boots that were PERFECT for the 16 mile hike I went in the following day. The prices are reasonable. Super friendly lady working there who did her best to take care of my needs at the same time as a large group of people not knowing what they needed for a camping trip.

Be sure you completely read the reservation as some of their rooms are 7 miles from the hotel and they don't refund your money inside of 45 days. My bad.Edit, yes I got a voucher. I will not use the voucher as I choose to not do business with you or whoever else you shack your customers up with.

We had everything set up through an agent for our 5 day stay here. We spent 3 nights in the lodge and 2 in the homestead cabin. Both were very clean, comfortable, and beautiful. We were very pleased with the room/cabin. Not to mention its extremely close to the park entrance!! Highly recommend you book your stay here

Book an all day fly fishing trip, with guide service. I have been on several guided fly fishing trips before but this was the best. They took us to what they considered the best section of the river to float. Grant, our guide, was patient with my wife’s second time fly fishing and gave me great opportunities to get the big ones. Would highly recommend this guide service and Grant our guide.

1/2 day fly fishing trip fell well below our expectations. I asked how many hours we’d be fishing and was lead to believe it would be at least 4 hours. When booking a 1/2 day fishing trip, the time states 8:30AM to 1:30PM. We started floating at 9:30AM and pulled off the river at 12:30PM. Our guide was sick with a bad cold and was out of it. At one point he said, “sorry guys I don’t know what’s wrong with me”. We didn’t get any strikes in over two hours, so we asked if we were doing anything wrong and the guide responded with a “No, you guys are doing great”. So, we kept doing what we were doing. This is my 3rd guided fly fishing trip, 1st one in Montana and it was a big let down on several fronts. Unfortunately, this type of trip is not cheap, somewhere at $100/hr. With fees, service charge, state fishing license and tip. We should have gone golfing. FYI, we caught one 4” cutthroat trout and several other boats that were floating and fishing the river got skunked. I saw one nice fish get caught out seeing probably (16) different anglers on a 7-8 mile drift.

Took my wife on a full day fly fishing trip….her first time. The trip was supposed to include lessons/instructions. Matt was a nice guy but we received no lessons/instruction on the art of fly fishing beyond “fish from the right or left side of the raft”. My wife caught a nice little trout, her first, and our guide released the fish without offering an opportunity to a get a picture!!!No casting lessons, no fly presentation instruction, no picture. Very disappointing especially for my wife who had never fly fished before.

Friendly staff, super helpful, beautiful hostel accommodations, great restock store with lots of camping supplies (and beer...) and awesome outdoors adventures. We were able to get 2 solo duckies (kayaks) for whitewater rafting day of! Loved it!

This place is a testament for getting what you pay for. The views, the amenities, and the location were absolutely unbeatable. We were at Glacier Outdoor for a family member's wedding (who, understandably, had to wait two years for a booking) and stayed the night at one of the more elaborate cabins. If I were well-off, I would stay there for a week or longer. Everything was clean and well kept. We felt like royalty. But, as it is we are simply peasants, so one night will have to suffice.

Our first stop after leaving Spokane before going to Glacier. Highly recommend this as a stopped. We stayed two night in a cabin here before moving into the park. Great Place. Could use a better grill at the cabin, but that is our only negative....we had a family group of 9. This was a great place for us.

I don't know what's going on but a bunch of babes work here not sure were they do their recruiting but it's obseen. Excellent friendly service, great rate, and the rooms are brand new. Different hotel concept then I'm use to, with private rooms connected to a shared common room but it works well. Our patio over looked the park, and hosted some of most incredible views.

Excellent place! Rooms were cozy and neatly cleaned with a lot of care, well organized.Even common washrooms were very clean and tidy. One suggestion would be to share the reservation instructions/codes over the email rather than paper.

We stayed here in a cabin on our trip to Glacier. Our cabin was clean, quiet, and had plenty of room for myself and my two sons. The location is excellent, just outside the park entrance - an ideal base camp. The staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful.

Buyer Beware. If you're planning a fishing trip with this company, be prepared to have a discussion with your guide about the practice of "crimping barbs." At the END of the trip, our guide informed us that after we caught our first fish, he SWAPPED OUT OUR FLIES for ones with crimped hooks. (That means the hook won't catch in the fish's mouth like it was designed to do. Fish can easily shake the hook out unless you keep constant tension on the line.) While the company may feel justified in doing this, we were never given a choice, and it wasn't disclosed until too late.My wife and I aren't professional anglers. Like most people, we paid for a guided trip so we could catch fish. Instead, after the floors were switched, we each hooked several nice fish, but kept losing them. The guide never offered an explanation, so we assumed we were doing something wrong. If things had been explained to us, at least we would have had a decent chance of landing a fish. Instead, we feel duped.I called today and spoke with Darwin Stoneman, one of the owners. He said that this is their company policy, and acknowledged that they were not communicating it to their customers. However, he never offered to refund any portion of the fee that we paid for what was essentially a wasted trip.Again... Buyer Beware!!

Cassie was amazing! I called from Canada to ask if she could deliver a surprise wedding gift to one of the tenants and she helped me make this happen. She even went above and beyond to put a "just married" sign on their cabin door! She was wonderful and I would totally stay here in the future with service like that!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS OUTFIT. It poured rain all day that I was scheduled to go fishing. I asked for a refund and they refused. They said "you'll have a great time" Really? At the time I was asking for a refund it was raining so hard you couldn't see across the street. Plus anyone with half a brain knows trout don't bite or feed while it's raining. $500 down the drain, literally. A very poor business odel

Cabin was well-appointed, clean, and beautiful. I enjoyed sleeping on the generously sized, under-roof balcony listening to the sounds of the woods at night. While there, I meant to take a quick trip to see the nearby 500+ ft-tall Hungry Horse Dam but forgot.
