Love the prices at family dollar! And I give props to the employees! They have a heavy work load; unloading freight from the trucks and running back and forth to the register to check people out, and the customer service only rarely sucks. Another of my favorite places to shop!

There was nobody to open the store today, August 10, and I'm not surprised.When this store opened it was a godsend. 30 miles from the nearest big box store, we needed it. Well stocked, clean, incredibly kind and helpful employees.Fast forward to now. For the last several months the store has been a disaster -messy, poorly stocked, disorganized- and the employees are, to put it kindly, awful. One chastised my kindergartener for wearing lip gloss. The manager does nothing but complain to customers about her life and her job, and is incredibly rude. To check out customers is an inconvenience to her. Something needs to change. Just because there's no competition, doesn't mean you shouldn't care.
