We stayed at this hotel to rest for the night. The rooms are big and clean. The towels are nice and fluffy, and they provide a makeup towel, which was a nice touch. There's a small fridge and microwave in the room, and they offer wifi. It's not a fancy motel, but it's well cared for and clean. We booked through Expedia and advised that we were traveling with a service dog. The staff immediately answered to let us know they were ready for our arrival and were happy to accommodate our service dog. They are pet friendly, too, but only dogs. No cats. They have tons of information on how far attractions are, and there's a cute restaurant in front of the motel. This is a motel, not a hotel. You pretty much get to park in front of your room. They also offer a nice small continental breakfast in the mornings.

Excellent service. Very helpful. Room was spotless. Beds could have used some new mattresses, but still far better than most road-side motels. Traffic from the interstate could not be heard in our downstairs room. Idling trucks in the parking lot were not so pleasant. Nothing the hotel can do about stuff like that, but it does lower the location rating for me.

This place is a diamond in the rough! The room was spotless and you could briefly smell the cleaner when you walked in, so you know it was cleaned well. Rooms themselves have been updated and the beds were very comfortable. This gem was a highlight of our chaotic trip as it was such a pleasant surprise. If we find ourselves in that direction again, we will definitely stay here. And the front desk woman was wonderful!Rooms: Perfect updates. New floors, updated bed linens, new furniture... Secure and clean. Absolutely excellent.

We stayed at Big Sky Motel 2 years ago, and in those 2 years they have clearly upped their game. When we stayed again last weekend, the rooms were updated with new flooring, walls were painted, the bed was comfortable, and there was just a general feeling of cleanliness. The staff were friendly, with the cleaning crew especially impressive on their thoroughness in straightening up the room.The only things to mention are: There was no tv remote in our room, and there was no ironing board/iron. Minor issues though.The location was excellent, with the Durango's restaurant and police station just across the street. A grocery store is kitty-corner away. A gas station is just down the block.

The staff is super nice very accommodating. Beds are comfortable with lots of different types of pillows. I stay here often year after year working on the road. Clean and quiet rooms.I love this little town and the people, very nice.Walkability: There is a great little restaurant and Tavern with the casino across the streetFood & drinks: There's a grocery store within walking distance

This is definitely a hidden gem in small-town Montana! I am a person who is very careful and critical of hotel quality, but Big Sky met and exceeded all expectations. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the woman working the office was friendly, cheerful, and very personable. The place was clean, safe, and very affordable -- HIGHLY recommend!

Absolutely loved my stay here. Very friendly owner. Room was clean. Once I closed the door, I didn’t hear the nearby highway. Loved the little town vibes. Police station right across the street so you can be sure that it is very safe.Safety: Police station right across the road.

We stayed here for a night after visiting a friend in Superior. Our room was freshly painted and super clean. It looks as though they have just remodeled. Very quiet. No noisy neighbors or highway noise. Fridge and in-room coffee are nice extras. They have a small breakfast bar in the office with a handy "to go" brown bag which was perfect as we were on our way out.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiete area. Big Sky Motel is located in a small town, but they have big quality. Sheets were clean and fresh. Staff was so helpful at the front desk. Great location by places to eat. Pet friendly. The lady at the front desk was so kind to our pet. It is right off the highway. Great place to get a nice and peaceful sleep.

Was the only motel available. The room was upgraded but had lots of gnats. Window sills were full of alive and dead gnats. Have to wait for desk staff. Sign, "working outside". They were nice enough. Way overpriced though for a small motel in not a great location. Noisy. Lots of longterm guests who work on their work equipment outside in parking lot right by the guest room doors. Same workers congregating on balconies playing loud music. Wasn't comfortable there so checked out and didn't spend the night and forfeited our $200 room charge. (Room was probably worth $100 tops) Which was fine since it was evening and they wouldn't be able to re-rent the room.

Front desk staff were friendly, helpful & welcoming. Room was clean & comfortable. The pillows are the best hotel pillows I've ever used! It's an older property, but clean & updated with some very charming touches in the rooms. If you can't use stairs, be sure to ask for a ground-level room. Good restaurant & gift shop across the street, too. Next time I go thru MT I will definitely skip Missoula & stay here instead.

We needed a room in the area while traveling with 2 pets in January. Big Sky Motel has pet friendly rooms. The room are nicely painted, clean, quiet and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The room has a nice sized flat screen tv and quiet a HVAC system. The showers were good. Hot water was plentiful and the staff was top notch. A good room for the price. We will stay again.

Rooms were clean and we needed a place to crash traveling through. Nothing stellar but service was nice and welcome for how late we showed up. Motel is built right between the highway and the main town road. I remember it being noisy but I was super tired and it didn't keep me awake so I am not sure how bad the noise really was? Definitely not a destination motel, but if you need a clean bed, shower, and microwave for a night this place hits the bill perfectly.

For a nice place to rest your weary head this place will do.So far customer service is exemplary. Our room is nice and 'clean' for a motel room and dispels any of seedy thoughts about motel rooms. 😁The bed clothes feel rather scrumptious. The comforter on the bed is rather silky in its touch factor so would definitely be a big give away if not laundered properly. The pillows are generously large and are firm with just the right amount of loft. The mattress itself is pretty run of the mill firm with the exception the edges of the bed do not have a wire that digs into the back of your leg when getting up.Looking forward to the continental breakfast. This area is in the lobby and appears very clean with two tables seating for six each. The chairs are comfortable in the lobby as well.Cons:For the price of the room it does not come with a safe or a hair dryer. But the comfort factor kinda out weights this.Hope this helps ya'll.

Super great stay. Comfortable beds, very clean and well kept, was super quiet. Walking distance to the small town and right across from the police station. Staff was very kind.They were booked up for the weekend, so I would recommend booking ahead if possible (sooo many Summer 2021 road warriors!).

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here.It's a small motel in a small town in a large state. Staff is very personable & caring. Rooms are clean & quiet. Coffee, cereal & pastries in the morning. If you stay here you'll probably be pleased too.
