Nice budget hotel. I can't really complain because we have been paying $68 per night. The man on the phone helped me out with keeping the same discounted price each night. It's clean the heater is nice and quiet. I'm a bit disappointed in the reviews this place got. Yeah the employees here are an Indian family but I'm not sure why people would be upset over that. They've been nice and helpful to me. I like their dog they have in the office and how cute it is behind the desk with all their things hanging on the wall. It gives the place personality.My only complaint is their booking system is really difficult. I don't fault the employees at this location because it seems like the system is to blame. It has made extra bookings I never asked for and the staff here has helped me get those cancelled and fixed. I'm not sure if it's a bug when you have multiple stays but make sure to have the office print you an invoice everytime you stay so you can get that sorted out and keep checking your emails for any discrepancies in their system.

Overall a good cheap place to stay. The floor in the room was in serious need of mopping, but the bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was fine but small. Really the only negative for me was the stench of the front office. I am not sure exactly what the smell was, but it was offensive. I don't think it was weed, but maybe some type of food. The operators dog is a german sheapard that barks every time someone enters the motel. Parking lot was large and easy parking. Gas station and food within walking distance. I will stay again.

No carpet in the room I like carpet bed was comfortable guy at front desk was nice the repair guy was nice I stay at about 3 to 6 hotels a week and some use to much bleach and it keeps me up I bring my on sheet and pillow cover did not need.it was nice fridge and microwave worked good if u like gambling it's really close gas is closeSafety: Everything is close

When you arrived at the hotel the first thing I noticed was the beautiful looking comfort-inn on top of the hill. So right away I said sh.., walked into hotel and it smelled of pot. The guy at reception was kind, happy and helpful. We were on the 2nd floor and the carpet was stained and dirty the whole way to our room BUT to our surprise the room was great. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. The shower was fantastic, the water pressure was the best ever. We were the last room beside the stairs to outside which suited us fine as we could get to our car fast without wandering around the hotel. We stayed 3 nights and it did what we needed. I would stay again.

Walking Into the lobby, there was a strong smell of weed. Somewhat unprofessional for a business. Check-in was fine, front desk agent was courteous. The room was definitely not fully cleaned before we got there. One of the beds had finger nail clippings and food crumbs in it, both beds had hair in them. It was pretty apparent the sheets were simply pulled up and not changed from the previous guest. The whole hotel has a strong odour of cigarette smoke as well. One of the staff asked me for a cigarette. Walked in the room barefoot after a shower (and drying myself) and the bottoms of my feet turned quite dirty. If this hotel would up there cleanliness game, then I would have no issue staying there again. However, as is, this is not a place I would revisit.

Front desk was very nice and friendly. They had a cat that loves rubs and cuddles, which is a plus for me.The room was very clean. From the flooring, to the beds and the bathroom. Definitely clean.I travel with a dog, so I was pleasantly surprised that their rooms have wood flooring and not carpet. The flooring was obviously clean.The bad parts are:The walls and ceiling are very thin. I could hear my neighbors talking, and when the guests upstairs walked, my ceiling trembled. It was hard to fall asleep or stay asleep with all the noise.The bed was hard, but expected for the price paid for the night.There are no cameras facing the vehicles. Instead, there are a lot of signs saying they are not responsible for theft or damage to vehicle. Not very reassuring when there are several people (locals?) just hanging outside the hotel, drinking. Now, in my case, nothing happened to my vehicle. But if you want to sleep with a piece of mind, then I would say choose another place.

They will cancel your reservation and then charge your credit card before you even leave the property.After numerous calls and messages, and getting who I booked through to follow up the hotel told me they would refund me as it was their fault. Only to get told three days later the property manager refuses.Avoid booking with them. You will lose money and get stuck with limited options for accommodation.In response to their response - I already sent an email. Numerous times. Of which your team ignored numerous times. I received two phone calls stating I would be refunded. I do not have it in writing since your team does not respond to messages.

Initially, when we checked, there was no one at the front desk and had to call a number to get someone to come. We got our room key, opened the door - on another couple in the room! Went back and got a second key for another room. Got to the room to find the door wide open. Overall, the room was clean. Just had a burnt or light bulb by the bed. No biggie. Had some overly loud guests in the hall at about 2am. Great location.

I paid $120/night so cheap it was not - but much less than competitors nearby.You get what you pay for. Beds = GOOD, Microwave/Refrigerator = GOOD, TV/Internet = GOOD, Decor = POOR, Service = OK. Apperance = POOR, Coffee 24/7 = GOOD.My room smelled terrible (I think that is the stuff they use to kill cigarette smoke).My room had someone in it so SHE gave me a different room (I think the GUY is renting rooms on the side for cash and not recording the rental.)I really wish I could have said more NICE things, because SHE really tries.

We really liked this motel when we had dogs. Very pet friendly and the staff loved animals clearly, as they had pets in the office. Went back this year on our way back to Canada without our dogs because it was inexpensive and close to the border. Staff was very kind regarding the loss of our two dogs, remembering them from last year. The room was clean. The bedding and towels were good, the bed comfortable. The room had a table, chairs, microwave and fridge so we were happy with that. Only complaint we had was the small size of the tv given we were watching the hockey playoffs. Otherwise, all good for a less expensive motel and we will surely be back on our trek north next year.

The staff was amazing and some of the nicest people I have ever met and the rooms were spotless and one of the cleanest ones I was shocked they truly made you feel like family. They also had a hotel dog and cat who the nicest and cutest animals I have seen at any hotel I would 100% stay here again and would recommend to anyone and their families.

Arrived at hotel and there was nobody working the front desk. Left a number to call and it was a mans cell phone and he ask could I wait 5 min. He finally pulled in his vehicle by this time there were 5 other people with reservations and by that time he was freaking out and threw his hands up and a younger nicer young man got me checked in. While I was waiting there sounded to be two separate yapping dogs and I stated I couldn't rest with the dogs barking. Others were saying the same, they did get it controlled. Both me and my spouse have had knee replacements and his just recently, there were just steep steps and no elevator and it was difficult to carry luggage and climb the steps. We checked out the next morning and no one was available and I needed a receipt but was none provided. Website states 24 hr desk service. No one when I arrived and non when leaving. Would not stay again. Thumbs down.

The check-in guy on the phone was kind of funny and robotic, but he was very professional, helpful, and patient. The vibes were great when we checked in just before midnight. The room itself was mid but it was clean and the bathroom was clean, and it didn't feel unsafe by any means.Noteworthy details: Check in and check out were quick and simple. They had lots of parking.

Changing reservation was impossible via the international phone service the system drives you to. Really insane and inconvenient. The motel itself seemed to be full of ex-convicts and lowlifes... very uncomfortable for decent people.Safety: Sketchy people stay there, standing around drinking beer and smoking. Pit bulls, tattoos, etc.

Omgosh YES!! We are usually kind of hotel snobs. All of our friends were staying here so we followed suit. Love this place. Don't let the outside fool you!. We were in room 115. Super clean! Love the fact that they removed the carpet and put in vinyl floors. Smells better and much cleaner. Showers are great pressure and perfect. Everyone that works here is incredibly nice. It's like we have been friends forever. They are doing great things with remodeling inside and out and we love that! We will always stay here!! We love the family atmosphere and the clean, quiet surroundings. Note to travelers: pic up your cigarette butts and clean up after your pet. That should not be the hotels responsibility.

Where do I start? This place is one of the best hotels around! The staff are very respectful and will do their best to give you anything you request. The rooms are always clean and there is always coffee. The place is just very homey feeling. This place is a home away from home type of place and I stop by to stay as often as I can. Kim is the best front desk lady! Definitely be back as much as possible.

I don’t know who wrote these other reviews but I felt very mislead. The whole experience was bad from start to finish. They have a cat the roams freely in the lobby and a German Shepard behind the counter. The parking lot is torn up, the lobby carpet and carpet on the stairs and halls is disgusting. The first room we were given was either still being occupied or it was completed trashed with someone’s belongings. I went back to the desk, and the lady seemed shocked there was someone in there and said she would have to call the owner and the police because “there shouldn’t be anyone in that room” not exactly conforming to hear.The room was gross with stains on both bed spreads. The sheets were at least clean so we got a blanket from our car and stripped off the comforter. The tub was discolored and the mini fridge seal was gross. We left early the next morning and didn’t even shower there because we just wanted to leave. We are driving cross country and if we hadn’t been so tired we would have left. Hopefully this helps someone else make a better choice. Check out a town called Chester. It was another 30 mins down the road but it looked like they took pride in their town and had a motel that looked better from the outside then this place did.
