The location is beautiful being that it is on a lake but unfortunately for me, that was all that this resort had to offer. The first issue we had with the resort was that the check in time is 5:00 PM. 5:00!!! This is beyond unreasonable in my opinion. With a checkout time of 10:00, there is more than enough time to rake the campsite, pick up garbage, and....? Whatever else needs to be done to prepare it for the next guests. The next issue is that the prices are way beyond the value received. This is a very dated, small, and in need of repairs. The prices being charged at Tamaracks are beyond what other 5-star resorts with full hook ups (water, power, septic) charge. We reserved the group site which had 2 spots for RV's, each with their own power and water hook ups. One of the electric hook ups did not work and was reported to the owner. It happened to be raining and cold that day and one of the kids in our group is under going chemotherapy and needed to be inside and warm. 4 hours after reporting the issue, no one had even attempted to look at it. When asked again about it, the owner came down and was not able to troubleshoot the problem. Another employee was brought down and again, the problem was not fixed. The solution was to run extension cords from a neighboring campsite to ours.We had a gift certificate that was redeemed for a half day pontoon rental that we opted to pay for the other half of the day so that we could use it the entire day. The staff gave us the half day in exchange for the gift certificate but later just before our arrival, called me and asked me to pay additional money towards the half day they had gifted me, citing that they felt like the gift certificate wasn't worth as much as the price of the half day pontoon rental. I found this to be very tacky and unprofessional. I will give credit where it is due and say that they were willing to allow us to have the pontoon later than normal since we had a late start that morning in picking it up. They did not have to do that, but it was appreciated. The lake was beautiful and honestly, the best part of the stay. That being said, I would not return at the current state of the resort with the current prices, nor would I recommend it to others. Quite simply, it is just not worth the amount of money you will spend to stay here.

Campsites/glamping sites are terrible and not worth the money. They are very close to the highway and The traffic is so loud you can't hardly talk let alone sleep and You are literally camping a few feet from total strangers. Porta potty provided is disgusting and The sanitizer is broken. There is a restroom the toilet is loose off the floor and is very dirty and doesn't look like it's been cleaned in the past week. Washer is broken. There is no potable water and the receptionist didn't know where to get water and just suggested we go buy our own. Beaches are not great for swimming due to all the motor boats.

We just had an incredible adventure at Seeley Lake!! I love the Tamaracks Resort and the authenticity of not only the cabins, but the people who welcome you and guide you toward a great Seeley Lake experience. We came up for a few days in December 2020 to just get away from our reality! The Saddle Shed Cabin was so inviting and decorated for Christmas! Our daughter loved the loft! I slept like a rock at Grandma's house! We rented snowmobiles through the resort and I was so impressed with all of the effort of the staff to ensure we were set up to go out safely by ourselves. It was my first time, so I was a little nervous at first, but we were given instructions, maps, and a GPS. I am so glad we didn't pay for an expensive guided tour in hindsight. We had an amazing time and one we'll remember for the rest of our lives! We took it easy the next day and went on a winter drive around the lake. We saw tons, of deer and breathtaking views of all the mountain ridges near by.I can't wait to get back next time for another down to earth adventure, quality family time, and just for the peace of mind gained at Tamaracks Resort!

Perfect spot for a romantic or family getaway. Absolutely beautiful lake and forest beautiful clean cabin equipped with everything you need. The beds are super comfy too. My husband and I got massages and they were so amazing the atmosphere is so serene and relaxing truly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The owner is super nice and helpful always available for anything you need.

Just tried to book a tent sight, found out they had a change in ownership. Sad to hear this, the last owners were making bigger tent sights, cause the ones they have are right next to each other, you can literally hear the people snoring right next to you. Whoever bought the campground decided not to follow through with those changes. Bottom line, if you want to bring your own tent, get comfortable sleeping in a campsite with total strangers.

The most amazing place we’ve ever been, and we’ve been all over the world. The staff is accommodating and gracious, you truly feel like family. Everything you would ever need is supplied. Just minutes from some of the most perfect hiking trails to gorgeous falls. Anything you could ever want to rent - paddle boards, canoes, for the canoe trail which leads to the lake, kayaks, a speed boat and pontoon (which now offers sunset dinner cruises) three days a week. Absolutely amazing. I can’t think of enough wonderful things to say, but if you’re lucky enough to enjoy this private beach/lake, you’ll be impressed. Even if it was just fishing off the dock - incredible!

We absolutely love this place. It is not fancy, but who goes to a lake lodge and expects the Ritz? Each of the cabins are clean and decorated nicely. Every Christmas they are decorated for the holidays. The owners and staff are great people and fun to be with. We have came here several times and will keep coming back.

The greenscape was beautifully green. When wood was ordered it was delivered nearly instantaneously. The cabin was well cleaned and ready for me. The view of Seeley Lake is just spectacular. I was lucky to have perfect weather for my stay. Highly recommend it.Update (May 2023): Pin coded locks this year. Nice touch. The main office looks to be upgrading their POS and inventory system. Also nice. As always, the help and service are top notch. Both friendly and speedious.

For the price they charge, I was expecting a real resort. The reality was so disappointing. The path around the 'resort' is an unpaved dirt road, full of potholes, trailer was bouncing left and right. The site is in the same condition. There is only electric+water, NO sewer at the site, NO dump in the 'resort', have to hookup and dump at the next town. Washrooms are portapotties, only one shower and it's coin operated. With all the state park camp grounds around, honestly, it should be your last resort, if everything else was on fire or worst.

My family and I got a cabin up there to spend for a week this past summer to visit our grandparents who bought a place up there a few years back. I had not been there since I was 6 years old, and I am now 22. I must say I was thoroughly impressed! The cabin was so clean and incredibly comfortable with adorable quirks to go along with the "in the woods" feel. The owners are extremely friendly and warm. The beach was clean and fresh with plenty of paddle boats, kayaks, canoes etc & other activities to choose from.We are from California, and the quality of service and upkeep of this establishment is superb and definitely met our satisfactions. We have already to decided to plan another family vaca there for next summer! This is definitely the spot to go to :)

Great place! Loved our pop up site, although it was a little to close to the highway and the traffic could be annoying, but we were on the lake 90% of the time so wasn't that big a deal, the outhouses were pretty bad also, I know it's an outside company that cleans them, but in peak summer time I think they should come more than once a week.

We tent camped here, which was did the trick when we couldn't find a forest service site. The site had what you'd need, fire ring, picnic table, and a nice flat spot for the tent. It is pretty close to the highway, so you get a lot of car noice. Mosquitoes were bad this time of year. The lake is really close. Our dog loved the dog beach! They have a pay for shower and laundry, free ice machine, and a small lobby knickknack shop. They rent boats too and really most people go for the cabins, which look really fun.

Gorgeous place! Cabin was lovely. All the amenities on would need. Including a coffee maker (with filters), a stash of fabulous locally roasted coffee beans and a grinder ready and waiting! The staff was exceptional. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed!Looking forward to our next visit! Thanks for everything!

We rented a boat through the resort for a few days. It was a pretty easy process. They provide the life jackets as well.Staff is young, but very friendly. I suggest going in person to find out what is available if you don't get someone on the phone, as we never got a return call from the message we left.Equipment wasn't new, but was in great working order. Fair price!

I absolutely loved staying at Tamaracks resort the staff is amazing, yes Jessica that would be you!. You were a great hostess, we had so much fun shopping in your store. I would recommend it to everyone. The cabins are all different and really shows what Montana has to offer. The scenery and relaxing atmosphere really puts me in a peaceful state. I hope to come back every year.

The cabin was clean. However, it was very unprofessional not to disclose the Rave concert just outside our cabin that shook the walls and kept the baby up terrified and screaming all night. Had we been informed of the loud concert, we would have kindly chosen another location to stay. The staff was helpful and friendly upon our arrival but not disclosing the cabin shaking Rave concert was extremely professional, especially at $300+ a night.

My partner and I had a wonderful mini vacation with Jeff and Jessica, ,the owners of the Tamaracks resort on beautiful Seely lake, Montana. It was a quiet serene beautiful setting. First quiet relaxing vacation we've had in years. We also purchased a fantastic relaxing massage at a reasonable price. Our cabin, the Saddle Shed was nice and the beds were comfortable. If we needed anything at all in terms of service it was provided. We plan to return again some day for another wonderful vacation.

We come here every year. It is a nice get away without giving up everything a cabin offers. There are places to park RVs as well. Recently they added working wifi which I really appreciate. It is nice when you need to look up what is going on in town. You can also rent kayaks and other items to get on the lake!

The Tamaracks resort in Seeley Lake Montana is beautiful! There is a lot of neat old history there. Nice old buildings have been remodeled and are decorated very nice. Lots of character. Fun place to get away with friends and family. We have been snowmobiling and are having a blast. Jeff and his wifeJessica are very friendly and fun to be around. We got to go snowmobiling with Jeff and he showed us around the endless mountains. ❤️ This place!!

They were absolutely a wonderful place to stay the cabins are absolutely darling. They have so many things for kids to do. They have kayaks you can rent, they have row boats, volley ball, horse shoes, baseball, tether ball, basket ball, soccer. The setting is beautiful. And you are able to access the water close to where you are staying.

Favorite spot on our whole trip! Amazing location, great sites and right in the lake with beach access. Cabins are available too if you’re not a camper and the amenities are very nice and clean . Great people and will be back!

Our family stayed at your resort this past July in the Lakeside and Nordic cabins. We all had a great time, so much so we all want to return next year. We also decided our visit was too short, and will be extending our stay next year.I've always loved Seeley Lake, but it has been years since I've been there. It was a reminder as to how beautiful the lake and area are.I feel horrible about the wildfires currently affecting the area. I selfishly am glad it didn't happen while we were there, and pray there is an end soon.

We always enjoy our time at Tamaracks. This year we spent the holidays there. They do a great job making each cabin festive - Christmas trees, lights, stockings, etc.. The snow was amazing (and deep). Fireworks for New Years over the lake. The accommodations were very comfortable. Everything looked and worked great. The staff is awesome.

A great place to gather your family and enjoy Seeley Lake away from all the hustle and bustle. The cabins are old but well cared and fun to hang out in. Bring your own boat or rent one on the property. We keep coming back because the memories are too good to miss out on!

I have stayed here for many many years! This last time I stayed, will be just that! The last time! Cabins were dirty, dishes were dirty, dog poop EVERYWHERE! Nowhere to park even in-front of our cabin was blocked by employee cars. They parked their own boats in the boat ramp so we couldn’t even load or unload our boat for hours! Prices were listed in our cabin ‘if things went missing’ yet our cabin was not equipped with what they had listed that it should have! Literally animals living in the walls. They advertise ‘free WiFi’ yet it never worked and when we asked the front desk about it they said it has been down for weeks! It was seriously the worst experience! On to better places for us!

We tent camped here in the summer. There is a water spigot available at the site but only one shower and bathroom facility for the whole place. Portapottis are scattered throughout. Other than that it’s a great place with lakefront access, canoeing, docks and hiking trails. Cabins would probably be the way to go.

My brother, and I rented two cabins on June 26-29th. Our service was terrible!! We had to ask every day for toilet paper, trash bags, and towels. My cabin, the dockside had constant mouse poop in the drawers. We did not sleep thanks to the constant mice in the walls. Even though we mentioned this, Ariana was not concerned what so ever. We could not even use the kitchen utensils just because mice urinate all the time. My brother did not have heat for most of the time (it was cold at night). They also have received no service. I hate to leave a bad review but, we feel our concerns we not important what so ever.
