Man this place is great! Close to an awesome off-road trail to an amazing beach (only 4x4 vehicles can get there, not kidding). Clean flushable bathrooms, camp hosts were very friendly, and pretty tight on rules so it stays nice. No showers though but there is a place for a paid shower. We stayed for 6 days in the first come first serve and didn't have trouble getting a spot on a Wednesday. It was a great experience and fun for the family, we will definitely be back.

We have been camping at Rexford Bench for a number of years and enjoy the spacious atmosphere, paved roads and trailer pads. There are no hookups for campers, but the area is worth staying at with out services. There are numerous freshwater taps and the washrooms are clean and well maintained. Lots of path ways (paved, gravel, and/or dirt) to walk, whether it is to the lake or take a path into the wooded areas. While hiking the pathways they have posted interesting documented facts about the local, animals, birds and ecosystem with in the park area. (some of the fact sheets are missing, and would be nice if they replaced them)

Nice campground overall. We were there Tuesday after Memorial weekend and had the entire B loop all to ourselves! Were 3 or 4 campers on the A loop is all.Restrooms: Restrooms were well lit, spacious, and CLEAN!!

One of the most beautiful, clean, quiet, with paved sites we have ever been to but don’t tell anyone. And rest rooms were both clean and very nice. Thanks to all who make it this way.

This place is iconic in my mind. I love Rexford in general, it's an incredible place to escape the Flathead Valley.Rexford Bench is well maintained, with a huge boat launch right next to it, basically on the water and so many things to do outdoors.Hosts have a tendency to be a tad rude and disinterested. Otherwise, it is simply the best.Restrooms: Clean and well maintained.Picnic area: Multiple places to escape with the family, including one at each site!

One of my favorite campgrounds! As many reviewers have commented, the sites are clean, paved and reasonably private. The water level of Lake Koocanusa various significantly from spring until lake summer. Recreating on the water when the pool is low is a little challenging.

Simply wonderful. Nicest boondocking ever. Deer under picnic table as we arrived. While backing in it simply arose and meandered into brush & started browsing. Came by as we had coffee in morning. Full hardtop sites are large width and nicely spread apart usually. Beach and landing areas. Toilets look like residential bathrooms. Surprising how many FCFS sites were available. Our reserved site was excellent.

What a find! A beautiful campground and Ray and Linda are fabulous hosts! Campsites are paved, clean and very private. Close to potable water and washrooms. We camped, only with our bike and little trailer and were very comfortable. We will definitely be back! Note: The current hosts were not in anyway, rude or bossy. They run a campground, which means if campers are being disrespectful of other campers, the hosts are required to ask for compliance. Pretty simple really.

Beautiful campground, lots of wasps, couldn't enjoy the outdoors with them, though they were trying to control with hanging traps. Bathrooms were nice, no showers, 1 time stay, left early.

Nice campground in the forest along the Kootenai River. Only five miles from town with several grocery stores. Boat launch and beach for day use and campground. Water, trash, rest runs with flush toilets and a dump. Campsites are mostly large with lots of space between.

We just stayed here the other night, and the hosts were amazing! I noticed two other reviews said that he was rude and grumpy, but I'm thinking there is a new host, because this man could not have been nicer! He greeted us at our site and offered suggested on scenic drives/hikes in the area. He seemed very proud of the campground, telling us he plans scavenger hunts and other activities for kids, and will give lessons on how to pan for gold. He and his wife clearly take pride in how well they maintain the campground. And best of all: the bathrooms are tiled, have electricity and flushing toilets, and are very clean! I would absolutely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone of any age! Six stars!

This is a very well kept gorgeous campground by the lake. The bathroom is spotless. It is very big but there is space between spots so you don't feel too crowded.

Loved the lake, would of really enjoyed the campground but the host of the campground was very rude and aggressive! We will NEVER go back!! We will camp else where. Be aware, there are about 4 old men that monitor the campground that are complete a$$holes! Need to be reported!

If it had showers it would rival many and surpass a lot of RV Parks. Much better than the RV Park in Rexford. To nice for my typical camping.

Same Rexford Bench it's been for over 30 years. Still a ton of yellow jackets (wasps) in the summer but worth a stop over. Reservations recommended in the summer since it's super popular with the Canadians. Quiet this year with them all gone.

Decent, first time here, appreciate running water. All night music from neighbors less so. Close to Abeyance Bay concert venue.

Love the campground - clean, neat, relatively quite. The only problem is people with their hundred dollar generators running them full blast all day while they are at the lake.

Very clean campground, nicely paved rv pads.Best bathrooms ive seen anywhere. Parents could watch children a little closer,on their bikes, but thats not the campgrounds problem.
