Really enjoy the knowledgeable staff. When out of stock of what I was looking for for my daughter, they were able tell me exactly what was available at nearby stores and what they had that was comparable and on sale. Easy to make choices with that kind of information. Always a good experience.

Went in to Murdochs to try on clothes. This employee named Julia a blonde girl was very rude. She was saying rude things about my wife and didn’t see me around. Unacceptable.

This place has changed from when they opened. My first reviews weren't good as we didn't have good service before. Hadn't been back in a long while. Came back reluctantly for a sale. Wow, the staff was super friendly and helpful. We came back the next week and it was even better. Glad we gave them another chance.

Excellent staff, very helpful & the best place to get winter wear for a person who works outside i.e./ boots, heavy duty pants, wool socks & coveralls! Price maybe a little more but you get what you pay for! We also got matching PJ's for Papa, YaYa and the grandkids!

It's a good enough place. You pay much more at these farming supply stores than many items are actually worth. The staff is friendly and the sporting goods section is great. I wouldn't buy clothes here.

Bought a Husqvaurna chainsaw yesterday evening in polson Murdochs.The 2 gentlemen who helped me with my purchase were Top Notch in what they do.Just want to give them the props they deserve.I cant recall there names but one is assistant manager.Thanks much for the great experience..

They have really great customer service, the staff went above and beyond for me when I wanted to return a lairot rope I didn't need. Also a great place to shop. Although they need to get a more variety of clothes 4x and bigger, and shoes size 13.

I walked in and picked up two fifty pound blocks of salt, purchased some Carhartt pants, Two bird blocks, and a couple of other little things. Not once was I asked if I needed help. They used to assist me with the salt and heavy lifting. I will not be supportive of this local business any further. What happened to the service of the past? People asked if you needed help. If you can't find something, you could ask for assistance...it doesn't exist there anymore...

Had a great experience. I went in looking for a tank top and some shorts as we were visiting from out of state and it was much hotter than I expected and wasn't quite prepared. The associate who helped me was very helpful. She listened to what I was looking for comfortable and age appropriate, and just my size (my size isn't the easiest to find). She had great suggestions and I ended up buying several of her suggestions.I wish I could remember her name (it's been a few weeks), however I will say I was so happy with her service I did go and put in a good word with the manager. She was so nice, you would have thought she worked on commission but no, she was just a genuinely nice and helpful personAll other staff I encountered were also very pleasant. They all seemed to enjoy working there.Wish we had a Murdoch's in the Houston area!

The store manager Kim at the Polson location is rude and aggressive. Cold shoulder when trying to ask for help. Later on in my shopping trip I hear Kim yelling and saying some pretty messed up things to one of the employees over an end cap not looking as nice as it could be. The other managers didn't say anything, must be normal for them. Will not be shopping at this concentration camp anymore. The only nice people there are the floor workers, but good luck asking them something without getting them yelled at or fired.

My name is Dasan Toney I bought a pair of $160 boots from here. The box I grabbed said 10 and I thought the shoes inside were the right size. After wearing them for awhile I checked the size and they were an 8.5, not a 10. No one at the store double checked the size like everywhere else. Now I can't exchange or return them as I've worn them outside. I got these shoes for the soul purpose of them being lightweight and I have bad knees.

Christmas shopping is easy with the wide selection of offerings at Murdoch's. Whatever your family or friends style or interests are, they likely have something that they will love. Good selection of stocking stuffers too.

Great for ranch and dog supplies, even clothing on occasion.However, they need to get the older gentleman out from behind the guns. Beyond seemingly lacking in knowledge on the firearms and accessories the man can't even give a good ol Montana greeting.On two occasions I've gone in there and had him snub me on a "good morning." Both times I saw they had the gun I wanted but took my chances on taking a scenic drive up 35 to Kalispell to find what I wanted and gave my money to more decent folk.

Pricey, but local stop for your gardening, hardware, pet, livestock, and outdoor needs. Great place for boots and western wear as well. Very clean store, and a knowledgeable and friendly staff is a huge plus! Also, it's easy to get to, and has plenty of parking.

Just too darned expensive. We are local shoppers that shop locally but can't at that price. Been in twice now. First time was to check it out and see what you carried. Not one person came to greet, help, etc. Second time we came in to look at boots. Another, no greeting at the door from the sales clerks (neither looked up from what they were doing, and we were the only people in the store), no one asked if we needed help. Will possibly come in during the tool sale. Not sure though. It's been awhile since we were in, just getting around to reviewing.

I went to this location today to get hinges for a gate. The young guy who helped me was not helpful at all. First I asked where this item was located and he pointed to the aisle. I asked if he could help and he did not seem happy to help at all. I looked for a name tag but he did not have one. Are stores hiring for warm bodies or do they want people that are ready to be helpful to the customer. I left without buying anything. Went to True Value and they were very willing to help and had exactly what I needed. Very disappointing.

The store is great but the website needs improvement. Search for exactly what your looking for: “blue buffalo wilderness large breed chicken recipe grain free” and get just 3039 “relevant” product returns. In addition, the request to use your location on every page load is tedious as well. Otherwise easily deserving of three stars.

I work construction and ever since the Covid pandemic hit, products have been totally hit or miss. A couple months ago I needed new work boots. I have only ever found one brand that holds up and Murdochs carries that brand. Been extremely hard to find in my size, even from the manufacture. Went in today, and Michaela was employee who assisted me. She had no problem looking up exactly what I wanted, Unfortunately what I was looking for was not available. I asked her if she wouldn’t mind trying to find my size in that particular brand. I was kind of in a rush so I told her to give me a call. She called me not only once, but twice to give me the options that she was able to find. She made the whole process a lot easier then what it has been in the past. Thank you very much Michaela, I truly appreciate your diligence with this. Excellent customer service.

This place has a lot of everything including items you didn't know you needed. Visiting from out of state and went in for a new leash/collar set for my puppy and walked out with not only my intended items, but a stamped puppy ID, the BEST local pretzel chips and some very pretty local silver earrings. Staff is friendly and helpful and the store is quite clean with much to choose from. Great place for hardwoods and smoking/grilling needs as well.

I love this store. It's where I can get my "western" shopping done that fits our ranch and country lifestyle. Of course it isn't all just western merchandise but that's my favorite. Recently I purchased some their Pendleton towel sets. What beautiful designs! This spring we'll get some of their baby chickens.

This store has a little bit of everything. Its the perfect place for ranch supplies. I do wish they had a bit more variety on some items like grill pellets, but we can typically find something that works.
