We popped in on our way back home to Kalispell for some breakfast on a Saturday | had the eggs Benedict on gluten free toast - the hollandaise sauce was also GF (some establishments throw wheat in their sauce or use packets, she makes it in house here and it's delicious!), and I was also able to order an unbelievable side of Gluten Free French Toast as you can see by the photos it tasted 100% as good as it looks! I can't remember what the hubby ordered it's not pictured here) but his was also so delicious, we both ate everything and found our new favorite little Café in Polson!Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten free options

Definitely worth it ! If you want good quality organic food, French press coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place. But, don’t be in a hurry … and don’t expect cheap .. quality homemade food takes a little longer and organic ingredients cost a bit more. The presentation and the tast is amazing !! I had eggs Benedict and it was the best that I ever had ! This is for those who appreciate fine dining .. oh, and they have an amazing wine selection, and homemade spices available in their gift shop area. Enjoy !!

Eating dinner at Mrs. Wonderful's reminds me of a place I ate up in the olive tree- covered hills above the town of Lucca Italy in 2016. I stayed in an Air BnB and there was only one restaurant within walking distance open only on the weekends. There was one chef, maybe only a couple dishes to pick from, and everyone who lives in the surrounding hills eats there at least once a week. They all have their own same chairs. It's like eating with family, even if you're not family, even if you're not from there. And mama's doing all the cooking. You may not all get your food at the same time (someone else complained about that) but what this assures is that your dish is hot because she just cooked it; it's not sitting around under a heat lamp waiting for her to cook 6 other dishes! Your dish is made special for YOU! Just eat it when it gets to your table. We're all family here. Nobody's gonna be offended if you eat yours while the next person waits for their's.Portions aren't huge American style, but it's ample. Sit back, taste, breathe between bites, chew your food, taste the amazing flavors, notice the pasta is perfectly done.Their pricing directly reflects their commitment to buying local, and organic. They support local growers.Mary Frances (Mama/chef) and her daughter Diana are truly an amazing team.Diana is an oenologist, runs the establishment's wine club, has exquisite taste and a worldly selection of wine. She also happens to be the house baker. She makes scones and galettes that you would be hard pressed to find better! And she does it with a baby on her hip!The pastry is baked to perfection, made of the freshest, oft locally sourced, and organic ingredients every time they can find it. Real butter and cream, all that good kind of fat that just melts in your mouth! And if by chance you catch, in the house, or get to chat with papa Gino while he's making pizza on Wednesday nights consider yourself blessed. And hopefully it's over a bottle of fine red wine which, among other gift items you can buy right there in house. They've got a great patio and an intimate naturally lit indoor dining area. It's an easy walk down to the pristine Flathead Lake for that after dinner passaggiata.

Wife and I stopped in near closing today, on a whim -- thought we'd try it. Her ham & swiss panini was superb and huge, plenty for a full-meal leftover! My plated scrambled/herbed eggs and artisan toast -- with a side of fresh fruit -- was memorable, and also had a full meal worth of leftovers. We also opted for a takeout slice (huge) of both chocolate/raspberry cake and cream cheese frosting carrot cake -- you will need two forks for each! Wife is a pastry chef and exclaimed this carrot cake is the best she has had!The atmosphere is rather like an Italian small-town cafe/grocery; do not be dismayed by the meal prices, as you will be both amazed and saddled with highly-desired leftovers to halve the meal price...

Very unique place. Food is very good quality, but you get what they serve you. Very limited choices on the menu. They're very focused on organic and natural. They're wine list is very limited and pricey. If you are prepared for something completely different, the whole experience a nice change of pace. Worth going on occasions. Check the menu before committing for dinner. Very small dining room which allows them to be very unique in their approach and their limited menu. They only offered individual pizzas and a salad when we were there. Apparently each day is different.

This place is difficult to find. When we finally located it, we walked into an untidy mess! The woman at the counter asked if she could help us. We stated we'd like to eat. As the indoor seating was warmer and there seemed to be no moving air, we elected to sit on the small patio. We stated our choice to the woman behind the counter and she replied, 'sit at one of the round tables. I'll try to get someone out there. "We selected a table. All table were in need of a clean, and the outside dining was small and cluttered. After 20 minutes of waiting, our host emerged with paper menus and warm water in a dirty glass. Gross! Foods on offer looked tasty on the menu. Prices were fine dining level with a nasty, unkempt atmosphere. After a sip of the water (nasty!) We left without bothering to order. The hostess didn't seem to want to be bothered by our presence. The restaurant had maybe one other unfortunate soul in attendance. After a sip from the less that hygienic glass of water, I had premonitions of future food poisen. Yuck!I don't remember the last time I have left an eating establishment without ordering. We were starved, but elected to leave rather than eat at Mrs (NOT) Wonderful!

Great little restaurant. Food quality is top notch. Everything is super fresh and homemade. Not a great stop for a quick bite as the food prep is a bit slow.

We were lucky enough to order Freshly baked raspberry scones and they were heavenly! Very small menu that changes so call ahead if you want something you saw online that you hoped they were serving. Great server, overpriced for what you get ($17 panini with a few ingredients and no sides?), and the food took a long time for not being busy.

This place was amazing. We loved the food and the hospitality was great. Everything was homemade and tasted like it was freshly made as well. This spot should have 5 stars. I don’t normally review places on google but the owner (Mrs Wonderful) was so kind to us that I had to.

Born and raised in Montana and glad to be back. We recently moved to the area from Texas and when asking anyone we’ve encountered where we could find a healthy, organic, farm to table restaurant we were referred to Mrs. Wonderfuls Cafe. Not only is this place EXCEPTIONALLY WONDERFUL, the owner, Mary Frances goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and is genuinely interested in her patrons. The staff was on point and the food was beautifully delicious. This has been our go to spot in Polson and we will highly recommend Mrs. Wonderfuls to anyone and everyone! They also retail fabulous wine and international beers! BONUS

Mrs. Wonderfuls is a real gem if you’re in the Polson area. Coming from New York on a 3 week road trip we were headed up to glacier national park and stopped for breakfast. Never have I ever had a better biscuit for a breakfast sandwich and the red pepper aioli was an incredible compliment. The cinnamon roll was amazing as well. Mrs. Wonderful is a great business owner, she makes everything from scratch and genuinely cares about each and customer. Anyone passing through the area should make this a stop on their route, do not miss out on a chance to try this amazing food and support a small, local woman-owned business!

I meant to write a review for Mrs Wonderful's cafe last year when I visited but was on the road a lot and today, sitting back at work in Australia, day dreaming, I just remembered the amazing experience we had there! I was on the trip of a lifetime, travelling most of the USA with my friend, having the most incredible experiences on a daily basis! We had camped just outside of Polson the night before and were about the hit the road again to our next destination. We needed to find a place to eat and so we Googled local cafes. The name "Mrs. Wonderful" jumped straight out to us! We used the GPS to get there but we ended up in a isolated part of town where there were no cafes so we called the number listed and the aptly named Mrs. Wonderful answered. When we explained we couldn't find her, she directed us there and told us what landmarks to look for. We began our drive there and soon after our phone rang again, it was Mrs. Wonderful, making sure we were OK in finding her place. How Wonderful of her! We parked and went in to a warm and wonderful reception by the woman herself and were given a run down of the delicious menu! All her own home baked bread options, a mouth watering savoury menu and a host of huckleberry treats! We indulged! And we were so happy we did! Everything was delicious! We even got some pie to take away for later (which was eaten within 5 minutes of getting in the car because it was so good!) We both agreed it was our favourite cafe of the trip so far (and we started in San Diego so we had eaten at a few places) Thank you Mrs. Wonderful. We will be back one day!

Huckleberry scones are amazing! Gets busy, so you might have to wait for your pastry order, especially if the staff has big orders to bake and box up. Worthwhile stop.

Finally found real pizza in Polson! Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, and the pizza was so darn good. Oh and the fresh scones, yeah, go ahead and treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed!

Went in and very politely asked for a copy of their paper menu, and was met with very rude service by a younger waitress who was more concerned about taking care of a baby, and being snotty than providing semi decent customer service. I couldn’t count the amount of eye rolls I received. The first thing said to me walking through the door was to expect a long wait. When I asked how long the wait was the waitress laughed in my face and said “lady I don’t even know what to tell you”. Super disappointed in what looked like a cute, quaint restaurant.

Probably one of the weirdest and most uncomfortable eating experiences I’ve had. The owner is straight up RUDE to customers. Like blatantly rude. Brunch felt cold and awkward and we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Prices are astronomical compared to portion size.

This little cafe is a hidden gem! We had wonderful pasta served in unique bowls. The restaurant is owned by two very friendly people who I assume are a couple and they really care about you and they food they serve. The chef even came out and said hello! Lots of the food is homemade including the bread, tea and pasta sauce, and the food is very delicious!!

We loved this place! My wife and I ate breakfast there and it was out of this world. Organic breakfast made with love. The eggs we fresh and the bacon was the best we have had.I ended up buying up the salt she sells and last night we used it on steak AMAZING!

Not a very friendly atmosphere, highly overpriced. Plate & silverware were dirty, and meal tasted like its main ingredient was solely wine. Staff seems to have over indulged with their cooking supplies (wine) as they were very LOUDLY arguing among each other in the back area.

Delicious food, warm atmosphere, and great service. I've been several times now to Mrs. Wonderful's and I never leave disappointed. The fresh bread and pastries alone are worth the trip. Highly recommend giving this place a try.
