Solid beer and fun atmosphere! Great invention by the head brewer to put a strip of chilled copper down the center of the bar to keep your brew cold while sipping. Their Honest Living Milk Stout was a top ten of all time but the IPA fell a little flat for my taste. Will be back for sure as they are always working on new ideas!

Great beers with a super selection that rotates over time. Make this a stop when you visit Philipsburg! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and happy to offer samples so you can decide what you want. Cheers!

This place rocks! The town is amazing and the PBurg brew house is the bomb! Great variety in brews and the old building is maintained beautifully! There was a kickass car show going on in the community along with other events! And don’t forget to save room for the creamery down the street (get the huckleberry!). This picture perfect town is must stop!IG @thegutsycowgirlFB @TheGutsyCowGirl#googleguide#PNWgirl#traveler#thegutsycowgirl#roadtrip

A pleasant establishment with a qualified staff and a diverse pull of beers. I tend toward less bitter beers so regrettably the menu was skewed out of my favor. Be that as it may we tested a flight of their light beers and were very pleased. The raspberry Razu was extremely palatable and a big hit with me and my wife. We will certainly be on the eye out for these beers.

This is the hub of Philipsburg- the only place that is open 7 days a week. Great craft beers. Hungry? Buy some snacks for a buck to have with your beer. Even better try to be there for one of their "Pint Nights" - and it's likely the organizers will be bringing food - like a Nacho bar!

Philipsburg Brewing Company is currently serving in an outdoor-only style where patrons are welcome to sit outside and enjoy their patio space in the middle of the Philipsburg Historic District. I really enjoyed the beer here and would highly recommend the Imperial Stout Ale (10% ABV) which has notes of chocolate in it. If you’re in the Philipsburg area, this place is definitely worth stopping by for the high quality brews and the social atmosphere.

Very cool little brewery! We visited during Covid, and felt like we still had a wonderful experience even with all the restrictions and mandates in place. We enjoyed some beers at a sidewalk table, laughed with a few friendly locals, and left with 2 growlers and a trucker cap. The Rye IPA is my new favorite!

This small town brewery is huge on beer and music. I had the pleasure of attending the Octoberfest weekend. 3 days of music, brews, food, and dancing! The brewery is a jewel in the community that features mining and panning.

Great brewery, loved the raspberry wheat. Great kids area in the back up the stairs. Was very busy up front and nobody in the back. My kids loved playing with the toys while we had a couple of beers. Even a bathroom in the upstairs (with a shower).

Fantastic beer and friendly staff in a quanit little tourist town. The atmosphere is delightful and the decor is quirky, and it's just a block or two away from many of the tourist attractions in downtown Philipsburg. Also features art for sale by local artists. Easily one of my favorite breweries in Montana or anywhere, and every time I'm in the area I make it a point to stop by.

I do not recommend this place. They are anti Second Amendment, so I do not patronize their establishment. They have plenty of "progressive" tourists to milk anyway. For a better experience head across the street to the White Front bar. They appreciate liberty and freedom.

There is no better beer outside Missoula than the brewery here. Not modern interior with more to look at than any brewery I have ever been to. The inside of the brewery is like an I-Spy book I read as a child. Their distributed beer is great. I hope they start distributing the tramway ryePA again so I can find it in my local stores. It is bustling even on a Sunday.

We really like the Haybag/Montana 1 after trying many beers in western MT. So that given this brewery was on our must visit list! Sadly the beer wasn’t as good in person. One waitress only gave her attn to men while ordering, the other was a lot nicer but overall the customer service was subpar. We also couldn’t believe they don’t offer any food such as appetizers. Was a lame experience for us.

Lively spot with a great selection of beers. I tried a pale and hefeweizen. Both were good. The charm and friendliness of Philipsburg Brewing elevate this spot from 4 to 5 stars. I'd definitely return to sample more, including their award winning pumpkin beer that wasn't offered during my summer stop.

Charming spot with excellent choice options. We were visiting from our home town, but no one treated us as outsiders. And we spent a relaxing time enjoying a few.Service was prompt and friendly, and we got to know the local puppers. The vibe is open a carefree, and dogs are allowed. We found this just fine, a good thing to know if you're still in planning stages of a visit. Which you should!

Philipsburg Brewery, MT is a Gem located in nostalgic downtown. Outside seating is great for enjoying the brewery's micro beer. I tried the Octoberfest and if not driving I would have stayed for another. Service is friendly and experienced. Within is clean, even inside the unisex bathroom. The space is great for intimate gatherings with a thirst for flavours.

Such a great place to be. Would come here again. Atmosphere is top notch, great decorations, so chill, dogs just hang out giving everyone love. Beer is fantastic too, and not one dimensional in the sense of brewing one or two good styles. I had several really good styles like a saison, fruited Brew, juicy hoppy Brew. Staff is very friendly and a joy to be around. I look forward to my next visit. This place is a hidden gem for sure

Was stoked to see that they had a sign informing guests when the lines had last been cleaned BUT then they sold me four packs of the MT 1 IPA that were brewed in FEBRUARY. I bought them the first week of June! Made a point of buying from the brewery too, as one usually believes that's the most fresh beer available. Nope. Not at this place. Bummer.

The Philipsburg Brewing Company, is not only a brewer of extremely fine beers, but an icon of the community. The owners are very community oriented and have made the brewery into a family spot. Their marketing such as the sponsored non-profit night each week is absolutely brilliant. This operation fits into the Philipsburg business model as an excellent addition to an unforgettable town for the entire family, ie Sweet Palace candy for the kids, Gem shops for Mom and the Brewery for Dad. What more could one ask for.If you are looking for a great weekend or longer Montana visit, the town of Philipsburg is a must see stop. Enjoy and have a great Montana day

I recently headed back to the picturesque old mining town of Philipsburg, MT, USA, to visit a friend who owns an Inn there. It was my first time there in 17 years, and somewhere in the interim, Philipsburg Brewery was born. Good thing, too! I was only in town for a couple of days so by no means could I sample everything on their rotating list of considerable offerings. For a small-town operation, they maintain a large, diverse tap list. I recall loving the Tramway Rye PA, one of their two saisons, and the Otter Water. The gal behind the bar was a local and previously owned the bar across the street, so knew pretty much everyone in town. Brewing is done on premises (I enjoyed the sweet mash aroma the whole time) and off-site at an historic brewery on the outskirts of town. The place is located in a former pioneer bank building (the town was founded in 1867 and has been a mining town of some sort or another all through booms and busts since then, so pretty much all the buildings are "pioneer" stock) and the PB merchandise store is in the former bank vault. They had just come back from competition in Denver's Great American Beer Festival, where they had taken a bronze with their 5 Phantoms Pumpkin Barley Wine entry. Guess what they were OUT of!! Oh, well...next time...and it won't be another 17 years! (Note the place is cash only with an ATM on premises.)
