Nice atmosphere in this retro soda fountain restaurant. The menu is varied and there are lots of fun fountain drinks.We had a Wagyu burger and a veggie burger with sweet potato fries and onion rings. The Wagyu was very tasty. Nice sized patty and well cooked. They did not have lettuce or tomato, but the taste was good. Veggie burger was OK, not great. The onion rings were perfect. Not oily.The owner/server was kind of cold and unfriendly, but we still enjoyed the meal.

Great quaint burger and ice cream stop. Burgers - they got your Angus, Elk, and Bison burgers. Heck they even have a veggie burger. Salad bar is a nice option. Brian is overworked and under paid. I tipped him extra. Also, share a banana split with the table. Look at the art piece this ice cream confection of perfection is.

Excellent Flavor! Bun toasted just right with plenty of veggie toppings to add to the burger.Quite a few vegetarian options with your choice of black bean or beyond beef patty. Sweet potatoes were delicious and crispy.Fast and friendly service. My one regret was not having enough room for ice cream.

the service was amazing, we were treated politely and with nothing but kindness. they apologized for the wait but it was well worth it for the amazing food. I almost went with a double patty on my burger, but one was more than enough! I went with my family and everyone left with a full belly, satisfied with the service, and no complaints. 10/10 would recommend, and well worth the price, which, might I add, is not at all expensive, especially for the quality of the food and service.

They have a few vegetarian items on the menu. Cool place, interesting history, nice and funny servers, good food. One bathroom wasn't in the best condition.

Everyone in our group of eight had a fabulous meal. My bison bacon cheddar burger was cooked perfectly. My husband had the huckleberry barbecue pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. The kids menu was generous and they make their own phosphates and cream sodas to order. The huckleberry cream soda would be worth a trip back. We arrived at 11:00 am, just as they were opening. By the time we were done, the restaurant was full with a line out the door. Great service.

Food was pretty good we had the chicken salad the pastrami and swiss mushroom burger. Our server was awesome I can't remember his name long hair hat on . Awesome at his job.Update 7-17-2022 came back had the pastrami Reuben this is easily the second greatest thing I've ever put in my mouth, the service in here is amazing and we will always be back..m if your a foodie put this pastrami Reuben on your list or your missing out.

My husband and I had a patty melt sandwich and a chicken fried steak sandwich with fries and onion rings. All you could taste on the chicken fried steak was butter and pickle, there was hardly no meat. The patty melt was beyond charred. It was burnt, which meant that was all you were tasting on it was burnt. The fries and the onion rings weren't too bad. Everything we had to was frozen store bought food, nothing was freshly made but they seem to be charging home made prices. They give suggested amounts of tips on their receipt, but our tip to them is to start making home made better quality food.

It was our first visit to phillipsburg and we stopped here to eat. It was probably one of the best cheeseburgers and fries I have had in a very long time. I loved the old school atmosphere and the old time soda fountain too.

First time visiting here. Were looking for gluten free option for my wife and locals recommended Does. We both had the bison burger. It was excellent. The sweet potato fries were perfect. The gf bun per my wife was very good.

Had a simple burger and fries and it was wonderful! Great flavor, great cook on the burger and the fries were crispy and delicious. Can't wait to try the other things on their menu.

Food was very good. The sweet potato fries are definitely worth the upgrade! One star knocked off because there was a really long wait for food - we were seated at 2pm for a late lunch and didn't receive our food for over an hour. But the servers were lovely.
