Skied yesterday 1/24 in an El Nino Drought Year (oxymoron kinda??) And I was Pleasantly surprised about how good it was!! Snow crew is doing an excellent job of grooming and keeping certain runs closed. It was Great to ski blacks on good coverage considering this weird year!! Only 1 minor scrape all day long!!

They have so many trails! The people are awesome whether you're buying tickets, renting gear, going to the bar, getting food and coffee, visiting the gift shop, and getting on the lifts! This past year, we've gone almost every weekend. Definitely worth it!

Great small mountain with nice amenities. Fun skiing with varied terrain keeps anyone entertained. I enjoyed every aspect of this mountain. Lift lines never got terrible, free wifi in the lodge, challenging and diverse terrain, parking... these all contributed to a lovely skiing weekend.

I learned to ski here, and 3 decades later, it is still an amazing place to bring my family and enjoy the powder and runs. Great staff and great runs. Highly recommended!

It was my sister's and my first time skiing, and Alex was a phenomenal instructor. So patient and accommodating! Lodge is very comfortable too. If you enjoy winter sports, this is definitely a good spot.

We had a blast at Showdown. I had not been there since I was a kid but lived it. The terrain is more intermediate to advanced. So the green runs are very limited. But that was fine for us.

As an avid snowboarder for 25 years, I’ve been to over a dozen ski resorts and Showdown has shown it’s one of the most unique by creating a subtle downhill that is east for beginners but provides a challenge in the bowl.Our 10 year old was able to stay on the greens and blues while I still got to experience the joy of Blacks and high quality terrain park!I highly recommend!

I have been coming here for more than a decade. The snow is always fresh, fluffy, and natural. And the mountain is always quiet due to the small crowds. The staff is friendly and the prices are great! Definitely my favorite ski resort in Montana. #showdown #montana #skiing #snowboarding

Amazing!! Family skiing trip.Ended up needing ski Patrol and Chris was great! Then Eryn at store/ticket counter was amazing with my daughter and got her a coco as she lost a tooth.Staff is amazingSkiing was even better!Highly recommend.

My daughter has been doing lessons with Realyn all winter, she is so great and patient with her! All the staff at Showdown are always welcoming and friendly and willing to give tips to all the new skiers. Layla is sking like a pro now, and my son has been an avid skier as well ever since his 4th grade ski trip! Thanks Showdown for being the best of the best!!! Can't wait for next ski season!

My wife & I brought my son, daughter in law, & 2 Grandkids while they were visiting us. They have had the opportunity to visit ski resorts all over the Western United States & they felt Showdown & their people are the best they have met. Great time, Great place & excellent value to ski.

A great little hill. The people are so friendly. I took a short break from work and the lady selling tickets was so excited for me! Shane the bartender is so friendly and works really hard. Keep it up guys! I'll be back for sure!

Lovely place to ski!! Excellent groomed trails, wonderful ski lodge with bar and plenty to eat. Love the people and the atmosphere. I took a ski lesson from an instructor named Andy and he was simply amazing! Very patient and very knowledgeable. Definitely come ski at Showdown!!

Awesome local, low-key ski resort near Great Falls. The steep terrain is fun and there are plenty of good runs for beginning and intermediate skiers too. Never long lines (sometimes no lines) even if the parking lot looks busy.

1 word Amazing. Just a little gem here in Montana. The views are beutiful the environment is always great. Just a really nice place.I went here on a field trip with my sons class. I had a great time. The staff was awesome. The paintece they had helping all the kids was on a whole another level. They took time with the kids and offered help. You can tell the passion these people have for the sport. I talked with a few trainers 1 on 1 and they were very helpful.The place was clean and organized. The coffee area is great as well. The young lady there was very nice and had great recommendations. The food is great as well. You could smell the corn dogs for miles I'm sure.I would recommend this place for a date out or a great family vacation. You will not be disappointed.

What a fun place to be. Wife never skied before, so signed her up for lessons. Was wonderful experience. My first time on the mountain was AWESOME. Great friendly and professional staff. FOR A GREAT DAY OF SKIING: Showdown IS the place to be.

Fun slopes, not too expensive. It gets very crowded on the weekend. And the food is good but expensive.

This was so beautiful. Right up the hill from Neihart, the smallest town you'll ever see. I'm not a skier but all the employees were more than happy to help.

Our family loves it here. Our 3yr old started skiing here. Great snow, trails, and large brownies (for the end of the day reward for the kids) and cheap Pabst (for the adults not killing the kids). Thanks Showdown!
