Winco is one of my Go-To groceries stores. They do NOT accept credit card. Debit card is the only plastic you may use - this keeps costs lower than other stores. This is an incredibly busy place as it is better than many grocery store chains. They have every grocery store department imaginable including a Bulk section. I am very satisfied with Winco. Be prepared to bag your own groceries! Employees are always helpful. The pizza counter has really great take n’ bake calzones! Definitely recommend coming here for most of your staple items.

Love this grocery store. Always have everything I need. And they definitely have the most affordable prices out of anything in the area. Better prices than Walmart, definitely. They have a great produce section as well. The store is always clean, people are nice and helpful. Don't forget, debit only!

Although I enjoy shopping at the store, I am extremely disappointed in the service I got. The service is not even worth a part of a star. For quite some time now, I’ve been ordering dog treats in bulk for my dogs through Winco. About 50% of the time they would call me when they came in. I made a special order and explained to them I needed them on time as I was going to be having back surgery with a recovery of 8-12 months. The weeks came and went as I was preparing my home and auto bill pay so I wouldn’t have to deal with it while I was recovering. They never called. Two days after my surgery, they called me while I was in the hospital. They told me my order was in and I needed to come and pay and pick my order up. I informed them I was in the hospital and didn’t know when I was getting out. I had complications recovering. But asked them to put them in a corner somewhere and as soon as I got out of the hospital I have a driver swing me by and I would get the order. I was informed they couldn’t do that, that I could reorder them when I was able. No understanding, no sympathy, just monotone we can’t do that! I said thanks for your care and concern and hung up. I will never step one foot in that store again. And tell my story to all who will listen.

Good place for a college student on a budget. The produce is better than Walmart, and cheaper too. The bulk section is a great place to get all the spices you need. Generally, I come here for all my shopping needs. The sales and specials are very hard to beat.

Come here after work and do a little grocery shopping. They have a great selection of pre cooked meals to take home and finish up. Also have some great salads and the prices you can't beat too.

I absolutely love this store ! The amazing variety , the prices , the friendly staff , clean store , and so much to choose from . Bulk section to buy jus about anything you need with prices that are simply amazing 👏 👌A must go to store when in the area and working in a budget as most of us are !Give it a try you won't be disappointed 😊😁Bought enough stuff to last a week and didnt even spend 50 bucks definitely a great place to shop for your family

Fruits, vegetables, grains and cereal are the cheapest here. I also love the options for plant-based food like sausages. Always come here to have a substantial and not expensive shopping.

My family has shopped here since they opened the Missoula location. We have never really had any problems.Well my husband came with me this week and we were trying to use my WIC. When we entered the store we noticed I forgot my phone in the vehicle and so we went off the slips of paper by product stating whether they are covered by WIC. Most items are repetitive so I know them off the top of my head on what I have bought in the past.Come to find out there were items not being covered by WIC. As I stated previously, they have signage stating that it's a WIC product.Fast forward to checking out. There was $6.83(or close too) that was not covered. At this time for my husband and I, we LITERALLY didn't have $1 on our person. So paying for the remainder was not going to happen. They couldn't tell us what it was without going through some major process of returning one item and seeing if it was it or not. We had our 4yr old toddler and our 20M old with us. So that process was not going to work for us. The manager was so confused and seemed like she didn't know what to do.So we left everything right there and walked out after they returned everything to my WIC card. Definitely will not being trying to get my future WIC benefits there. It's not always a convenient to have my phone on my person to scan everything. So seeing the signs are a big help, until they are inaccurate and cause a back up at check out.Hit or miss on whether you are gonna have problems with them.

I wish they had more chairs that you can sit in and drive because sometimes when I go in the afternoon or something with my home caregiver or whoever sometimes they don't always have chairs that I can get in so I end up having to have my case manager or home caregiver get my groceries for me I just give her a list and she goes and gets them so some stuff I can find and others I can't

I came in after ordering a cake at another bakery for my grandsons 1st birthday which when I came to pick up it wasn't ready because it was ordered for next weekend.. I couldn't believe it so I came to winco foods in missoula mt.. the wonderful young lady had me look for cars and assured me they would whip something up the best they could when I picked it up I was shocked I couldn't have been more happier than at that moment.. they did a wonderful job!! I thank the ladies in the bakery on 08-14-21 in the afternoon shift. Well done and thanks for saving a grandma from not having a cake ready!!

I have a love/hate relationship with this store.It gets five stars because I think the hate part is all in my head. 😃For some reason, I have a hard time finding things, and the layout doesn’t make sense. I’ve asked my friends and they ALL disagree with me. That’s why I think it’s in my head.Other than that, the prices are great, the staff is friendly and they are always well stocked.They products seem to be very high quality, even the Winco brand, and we have had great luck with the bakery and the meat department items.We have shopped many grocery stores in Missoula and Winco is definitely one of the best.There are a few items we have to go elsewhere for, but I don’t think you’ll ever find a store that stocks every item you could want every time you’re there.Definitely a sure thing for a great shopping experience.

WinCo has great variety. And happy employees!The bulk goods section can often beat Costco for selection and pricing if you're looking for a particular thing.Bakery donuts are pretty solid.Shop here quite often. Definitely prefer over other supermarkets in the area.

Great prices, and a wide selection of things you really wont find up here in montana most other stores.That said.Not everything is a "great" deal as its not an equivalent one. Eggs are cheap but they're also not a standard large egg most of the time (as an example). If local, organic, eco-conscious shopping is what you run on than this is not the place. If its getting food on the table, feeding yourself and others for a reasonable price while avoiding a wal-mart situation. This is the place.I like shopping here, I feel good about spending my money here, but its not the only place I shop.
