Much larger than the local Cabela's or Sportsman's and a more extensive inventory. Extremely friendly staff. Expensive, but it's a big chain store so you expect that.Raised from 4 to 5 stars because they stuck to their guns on the price match and I got a good deal.

This place is awesome, my husband convinced me to go with him and I'm glad he did. My toddler loved seeing all the animals, who knew mousse were THAT HUGE. But in all seriousness, it's a great department store to shop at take the kids, play a few arcade games and to the indoor playground. The play area was cleaner than any I've ever been in and my toddler enjoyed herself.

Remarkable selection of just about anything sports or outdoors related. I live out of state from any Scheels location, but I'm certainly going to visit when it's time for another high end rifle purchase.They're about the only game around that has, IN STOCK, most anything you'd be researching and wanting to put hands on before dropping real money. Helpful and friendly staff, and something there to keep the entire family's interest while dad goes cross-eyed in the gun dept.

I highly recommend this store. They can be a little more expensive, but well worth it in my opinion. I've never seen a customer satisfaction policy this good. 100% for 365 days!I purchased a winter gear in Great Falls. The zipper broke on my Columbia jacket. I wad really bummed. Then, I looked up there return policy. I couldn't believe it. I took my jacket and receipt in to the Missoula store. No problem!! I got a new jacket easy as that. That jacket just didn't perform as I had hoped. So, I returned it and got a different type. No problem. Lastly, I recently returned a light jacket. It's cuffs had come unsown and the zipper just started ripping from the fabric. I forgot I had purchased this from Scheels. I took it in. It had actually been over a year. However, the manager still took care of me.All the staff are super friendly and helpful. There are lots if variety and they will order anything they don't have.Scheels, you have a customer for life!

I bought a pair of shoes at my local Minnesota store and they developed an issue. We found this store while traveling and went to ask them about the issue and they were happy to take care of me right there and then. I walked out with two new pair of shoes to keep my feet happy. I love the Scheels experience wherever I find their stores. I like talking with people who enjoy their jobs!

I love this store! One of the employees turned on the shooting game for my kids, which was really thoughtful. They have the most awesome Lego collections too.

This store is massive and it has something for every sport. It even has a2 lane bowling alley! Friendly staff. I love it!

Huge selection of guns. Big fishing section. Huge shoe section(s). Huge selection of flies. Good ski and skate departments, esp for a store that doesn’t specialize in these things. Lots of disks. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Prices were fair for the brands they had (which are premium, The North Face, Columbia etc). Overall I was extremely impressed!!

This place was supposed to be another “leader of our industry” however it has failed like many. Their promises were to bring excellent quality products and customer service and they do have quality products. Their customer service is terrible. No interaction whatsoever with customer assistance, and when I finally found someone who didn’t run by me like they and brush me off; I asked “do you have deodorant” she’s proceeded to scroll on her mobile work phone for a minute and said “no, it doesn’t look like it”. No joke I walked two feet away from her and there it was. I don’t like incompetent workers and I definitely don’t like being lied to. All in all, I won’t be coming back here to buy anything. They have some cool kid play areas a couple arcade games and a mini bowling alley but definitely not worth the money.GO TO REI same price and way better quality care.

I should be able to tip my baristas at ginna’s cafe. To my understanding other employees in the store make commission so why cant us customers show our appreciation to the people who make our coffee every day. 5 star rating for the cafe though.

I love coming here. It's so fun that it's dog friendly too. My dog got lots of pets from employees and was thrilled. Awesome clothing and good deals when they do sales.

Scheels, Missoula ....I have no words. We bought a pair of track spikes over the weekend only to realize a few days later there were two right shoes in the box...called Scheels, talked to Bailey, she found the box with two left shoes and a note for a parent who had two left shoes and desperately needed a right shoe for the track meet today. My son had to get his wisdom teeth out this morning so Scheels sent a driver (Kevin) down to my house at 0730 to swap out the shoes ensuring the other kiddo could run in the meet today. Outstanding community support and I will definitely focus my business to Scheels in the future.

What at a store! Great selection of everything you might need for Western Montana! They even have a playland for kids and a mini bowling alley and video games and some great fudge in their coffee shop. Fantastic selection of Legos as well. Good luck you might get lost in there.

Have had nothing but the absolute worst experience with this location, from mouthy staff to completely incompetent management, it can not get any worse… or can it ? On numerous occasions the staff had completely missed the mark on professionalism. I overheard them say that I was a quote “retard” for trying to use their supposed “price match guarantee” among many other colorful words (slurs). To say the least I will never step foot in this location ever again.

I've been living inside a display tent in the camping section for 3 months. I love the Coleman 6-person tent. It provides plenty of room for sleeping and plenty of room for crafts and activities.

It's huge and they have alot of outdoor gear for fishing, hunting, skiing, ect... There is a shoe department and clothing area also. The fun activity was playing with toy rifles and shooting at targets for a minimal fee. An animated bear with hunting garb sits in a chair and moves and talks inside the scene. Fun! I would recommend this store if you are visiting Montana and are I'm the area.

Bronwyn in the ski shop is the most helpful, knowledgeable and friendly person! She helped me with a snowboard set-up for my daughter. Her knowledge, expertise and passion for the sport are amazing. 1000% recommend her and we will be back!! Thank you!

If I could provide a 10 out of 5 star review I would! Scheels return policy is amazing. I wore my Birkenstocks for a a full month, realized they weren’t fitting right and scheels provided a an exchange for the right size no questions asked. I worked with their manager Alex P. and he was nothing but kind, reasonable and understanding. I will be purchasing anything I can from Scheels moving forward.

Chain sporting goods store in the mall. Confusing layout. Feels like an old department store but shelving up to the ceiling.They have a decent inventory of all the items you want to recreate outside or need to play the usual American sports.

Great place if you like hanging out in a dog park. Dozens of dogs running around, dog puke and diahrrea all over the floor, employees dont seem to care. Why are all these animals allowed in the store?

I had an amazing experience with their bike shop! They made suggestions for maximizing my experience on the bike and did not even bill me for converting my tires to tubeless. Pricing is also very fair! They overdelivered in every aspect and I could not be happier.

Stores I have visited are great. Great customer service and selection.Mail order service is horrible, who ever packs the shipments is a complete IDIOT.I ordered several boxes of ammo, who ever shipped and packed it should be FIRED, both orders !! Three boxes of ammo in a box twice to big. ZERO PACKING I MEAN ZERO, second shipment two boxes very little packing and a box too big. Both shipments raddled around like a BB in a box car.Did anyone teach these warehouse people how to pack a box for shipment !!Both shipments came from different locations.IS POOR packing of shipments a company wide issue?I worked logistics and shipping many years ago, had I done work like this my tenor there would be very short.Management should realize proper shipping, proper order filling equals repeat business and zero issues with damaged shipments. Darn good thing Hornady makes good ammo boxes, as they were destroyed by the time I received them, but the contents were ok. I have ordered ammo from many places in my life NEVER has this poor of shipment packing.Do your self a favor if you mail order ammo use someone else but Scheels

if i could give 0 stars i would. worst company ive ever worked for as well as one of my family members. they will accuse you of things without any proof to back it up and wrongfully terminate for conditions that can’t be controlled. i’m embarrassed to say i ever associated myself with the company. don’t shop here
