Why you should stay clear. I paid money to attend an event. The seating was poorly planned and I could see an opponents cards and expressed this concern to a staff. The staff made up a rule on the spot (which does not exist) and announced to every one attending that I broke a rule. During the event he asked others to complain about me, which they did. I attended 1 other event, and made 2 purchases, however 9 days after this event I was told I was 86ed and refused to be told why. My roommate was also refused to be told why. My account was blocked and I was dumbfounded. I spent more than 1,600.00 in this store and played cards to make friends since moving to Missoulla. When I changed my Google review, well read the stores comments for yourself.>> to the store; Waiting for a public forum to make a false accusation is highly inappropriate. You certainly have the right to run a business as you wish, however your inability to comunicate any of this in person, the events disorganisation, followed by the refusal to discuss these concerns privately, added to your aditional feedback proves your inmaturity and unprofessionalism. Refusing to make the false aligations in private and forcing this discussion on a public forum was inapropriate. I didnt cheat, and you fail to accept your stores issues with as you stated a paid event. its best that as many people know to avoid participation in events at your facicility so they dont get treated this way. It is really super inapropriate.I contacted wizards, who suggested a few rule forums. The concensus is, I did not commit a rule violation . The other player did, accidently, The cheating acxusation is an outright lie, just like the made up rule.The Magic Tournament Rules, 7.7, has this to say:Players may not reveal the front face of their card selections or the contents of their current packs to otherparticipants in the draft and must make a reasonable effort to keep that information from the sight of otherplayers. Players are not permitted to reveal hidden information of any kind to other participants in the draftregarding their own picks or what they want others to pick. (Exception: This does not apply to double-faced cards,both faces of which may be revealed at any time during!!!!>In the end, as a customer, being treated this way is horrible, being forced into seating that caused me to accidently see an aponents card choices, then being treated badly hashing this out in a public forum is really inapropriate. Stay clear, their actions here prove my point. Noninclusive enviroment and inapropriate behavior.

Horrible experience the second time I came in the so-called manager was there, and was super disrespectful and mean. Just brought in a DS to have them looked at and see if it was trade value she just disrespectfully told us to F off and that they don’t take it. When her coworker, the big gentleman actually spooked at it and talked about it and other games in the store.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff.Video games are searchable through a computer they have available, which is convenient in some ways. Card games galore; magic, pokemon, and others available for sale, as well as friendly game play areas. Check it out! I got the Spyro trilogy game for $9.99 Xbox 1.

The customer server ice was amazing. The woman who’s name I forgot was nice and was so captivating and passionate with her words that she convinced my mom to buy a game called Gris. I wanted to get a 2nd that a saw in a photo on google about this place but unfortunately it was a 4-5 year old photo and the 2nd was long gone. We also bought the legend of Zelda skyward sword for the Nintendo switch. Most of the store is actually board games, all of the video game stuff is at the front desk. Don’t be discouraged though they fit tons of stuff into that area so they aren’t lacking in that department.

Talk about great customer service! Nobody is going through this building without being personally greeted. The people here are helpful because they want to be helpful, and it shows. If you are looking for a board game, some trading cards, an old video game or some mini figures please start here at a local business before you make your way online. Even if you can't find the exact niche collector's item you are looking for, you will not regret the time spent.

Folks here are always helpful and kind. Selection of products is great. Additionally, it's good when your employees can share their experiences at the table and you know they play RPGs as well. I'll continue to come back. Lots of cool Star Wars legion items as well.

Honestly terrible customer service. My wife and I ordered a board game from them almost a year ago. They told us it would take 30 days, and that was almost 8 months ago. They just let us know the game had came in when we already bought it from Amazon. Not to mention I believe one of the owners or THE owner gave my wife a hard time about not buying anything when she came in to check on if our order had been delivered. Honestly since covid this store has really went downhill in quality and stopped supporting the board game community and game nights because of the revenue. Way to sound greedy. Recommend going to ether Muse or Winners Corner downtown for a much better selection and better order times.

Honestly, the best game store I’ve set foot in. Every single staff member is super knowledgeable and friendly to all level of experience and expertise. They carry good family games for kids but also a good selection of hardcore game nerd games. Need D&D manuals or Warhammer supplies? They got it here too. I’ve attended multiple game nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. To top it off the owners are really great people who support the local community. Shop here before hitting Amazon folks, you won’t be disappointed!

They are always so helpful and will answer any questions you may have. Very knowledgeable and so polite! They listen to my son go on for ever about whatever topic he feels like discussing with them that day. They never cut him off and always have a heartfelt reply for him. Love the staff here! 💜

Nice store with spacious area for magic tournaments or other games. Ability to rent games is a really great idea and appreciated service to have available before purchasing an expensive game. I really liked being able to play magic without rubbing elbows with others. I appreciate my space and this is the most comfortable I've been in a gaming store. Another nice thing is the play space is in a completely different area from the store so you don't have customers walking by as you play.

Great store. I game there just about every Sunday and enjoy getting time any day of the week to stop by and browse. Their staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. I bring my 9 year old in with me to play MTG and they don't talk down to him because he is learning. Also have brought my 1 year old in with me and they where very friendly to her. Overall would give them a solid 6/5

Great staff and environment. Board game selection is decent. There are some games that I feel are really missing from their collection to make it nice and robust. I got a Christmas present for a friend here and the cashier took my hints and checked me out on the DL. The staff is really willing to work with you, talk to you, or make recommendations. Prices are par for board games, making them well with the look because they are local.

A great place to go for all your gaming needs! My personal favorite is the ability to rent a board game for a night or two, that way you can have a game night without having to outright buy a board game. But if you do like it, just buy it! :)Highly recommend. Check out their weekly tournaments for Magic: The Gathering and more.

Not very good customer service here at all. I ordered some singles (online) and was told by a previous worker, I can order same day and pick up - no big deal. Did exactly that, was told by another worker, that I must wait at least 24 hours as they only have a guy who "pulls the cards" on a certain day. K, fine. Same visit, I went to purchase a few other singles on their wall (you must use their computer I was told). However, said computer was frozen. I asked the workers if there was anything they could do and I got nothing but shrugs and "sorry, you have to use the PC to buy any other singles" (it was frozen). I was going to walk out of there spending even more money than I came in to spend. Really awkward exchange. I want to support local business during these times - but will probably just buy through big box retail online from here on out. And order singles from other outlets online. Much easier than trying to throw money at my local store who apparently doesn't need my business.

This store occupies a great niche. They even rent games here so you can try before you buy! The staff are awesome. Friendly and helpful. They have tables for gaming. Magic is played here. Pokemon is played here. They do releases for Magic and Pokemon. They also have a D&D event happening on the 17th of Oct call them for details!

Very cool place. The sell board games and accessories as well as video games from NES to current. This place is also popular for their game nights, several times a week. The staff is very nice and informed. Their prices are fair to good. Parking can be a nightmare at certain hours.

I'll more detail my review for you all then. Retrofix a misleading name as the majority of the store is broad & table top games, a common theme for game stores but really it isn't a store for retro things. The Very small section of the store that is video games, smaller still is the amount that can be called retro, is not worth going in for. Not because they don't have a few good things in the section that are great finds but because the items there are so over priced it's not worth it. We all have to make money but if I can buy the same game twice over and just wait a few days for shipping why buy in a store so unprofessional. I would understand a game going for over market value because it is in a store you can look at it and take it home that night but that convenience isn't worth what they price. Questioning the prices just gets a defensive "we looked it up that's what it's selling for." Which would be a decent answer if they didn't sound and look like they ate gearing for a yelling match. Retro gaming is hard to make a full store for I get it there isn't a huge market and no where to easily buy items for stock but don't pretend we have no idea what the items are or what they are worth.

All of the employees are knowledgeable about the products they are selling. The prices are great, everything is priced to compete with the internet. There is also a female employee that works there that I've seen numerous times helping out new players with things like dice or promo cards for MTG and pokemon. Just a super friendly staff and thats refreshing nowadays!

We go 2-3 x a year, that's all we can afford because we buy $$$. They always have a big & great selection. Their knowledge on games is extensive and it seems they have played a lot of these.We do go for box/ boardgames exclusively.
