The experience was good. Friendly staff! I took my two dogs to get both bathed and one a haircut. The one who just got the bath and brush out turned out great. The one who got the haircut didn't turn out so well. Spots were missed and my husband specifically asked for half to one inch from head to tail. Her face is still fluffy and they didn't cut anything off her tail. Definitely a little disappointed but it was a fair price

The experience that I had today with the grooming salon at Petco was beyond appalling. I have a Lhasa Apso, and he is groomed on a regular basis. Never once have I had a groomer tell me that they had difficulty with him. BOTH of the groomers that were in the salon today said that they could not fully groom him due to him not cooperating.He came out of the salon without being fully groomed, uneven hair length all over his body, ear grooming at two different lengths, etc. When I walked up to the store, I literally saw the groomer wrestling with my dog. It did not help that this groomer had acrylic fingernails that were filed to a point, and all I could think of is how much they would resemble claws to an animal.My dog hid under the coffee table as soon as we walked in the door at home, and he is walking strangely and been spinning uncomfortably due to how close the shaving was done around his tail and back end.I have filed complaints with both the store general manager and Petco corporate due to this incident.I do appreciate the GM Zach taking my complaint seriously and taking photo evidence of the poor cut.I will NEVER use the grooming services at this Petco, again. It is unfortunate, as I lived in Puerto Vallarta and the Petco Grooming there was absolutely top-notch.

Loved that we were able to book online and the text reminders were very helpful. Brandi was a great communicator in determining our dog’s final look. She did a great job! Will be a repeat customer.

I don’t usually take the time to write a poor review, but… have a new puppy and had stopped in a puppy salon previously to get his eyes and bum cleaned up. The ladies were really sweet and took care of him quickly. I was looking for a tiny Leash and harness and stopped in Petco, I thought I’d ask the girl sitting in the grooming room what she would recommend for his tear stains. All she had to say is “ that kind of dog is always going to have tear streaks”! I’m totally aware that this kind of dog needs special cleaning around his eyes etc, but it IS NOT TRUE that he will always have ugly brown streaks on his face from tears. I’ll go somewhere else where their more helpful! 🙄 And have more knowledge about my breed.Also the place is dirty, I didn’t even want to let my dog down to walk. I did get a leash. It was the only one they had and it was laying on the floor and was dirty and had obviously been stepped on. I needed it so I bought it , they gave me a generous 15% off. I won’t be returning to Petco. Their prices are really high.

Very disappointed with my pups grooming. Luke asked what I wanted and he said that he'll do a trim. Why ask me what I'd like done when if he'll only do a trim on pup. He did a very sloppy job and left alot of hair on the bottom of the paws and the face was choppy and he never touched the tail. I will never go back if that's what I'm going to get. I will not recommend Petco 👎

Let me start by saying do NOT take your dog here to be groomed! We brought in our puppy for his first grooming to get him use to the process. He is a Samoyed so he has lots of grooming in his future. To start his appointment was given to an apprentice with absolutely NO warning to us. We got the call to come pick him up and when he was brought out to us his paw was bleeding from a TERRIBLE nail trim as well as poop on his other paw. There was little to no explanation on why this happened and we were told he “did well.” We will never bring our dog back and I suggest you don’t risk it and try somewhere else!

I rarely leave any reviews, and I hate to leave a bad review but my dog got lice here. I'm giving them two stars because they didn't do a poor job of grooming her necessarily. However, she did get lice and when I told them what happened they insisted that she didn't get it from them. Unfortunately, I am 99.9% certain that she got it from here because she is a reactive dog with severe separation anxiety so she doesn't see other dogs or even people very often. The last time she was within ten feet of another dog was in early October. (It is now the end of December). Again, I feel really bad about leaving this review but if it spares someone else the pain of having to deal with dog lice, it's worth it. It was a really not fun way to spend my christmas weekend, and I wish that I had just gone somewhere else.

I used to really like the groomers here. I have been using them for years and they do a good job. However, I got a flat tire on the way to an appointment today and was 3 mins past the exception time and they refused to work with me. I already had to wait 3 weeks for this appointment and then they tell me if I want to reschedule it is going to be another 2 week wait. I understand with the covid thing happening things are more difficult but 3 mins?? 3?! For a reason I could not control?? And now I have to wait another 2 weeks?? It's nice to know that several years of loyalty to this place and spending over $60 for a haircut on a mini poodle meant nothing. Thanks. ☹

Mariah shaved my dog really close, exactly what I wanted. She trimmed his nails short and shaped them. My little dog does not like his feet touched so I was very happy when I saw his nails short. Mariah was very pleasant and friendly. She greeted me with a big smile and a happy hello. I think Mariah really enjoys her job at Petco.

I dropped by Shih Tzu off and was called two hours later to pick her up. She was very anxious and whiny when I first dropped her off. Picking her up, the groomer said she settled down immediately....that's a good sign of who is handling her. The groomer did a nice job and trimmed her just as I instructed.

The groomer called about 20 minutes after I dropped my dog off to tell me he had fleas, and would require a flea treatment (for an additional cost, of course). My dog, age 17, has NEVER had fleas. When I picked him up, his cut was uneven and patchy, and I was handed a bill for $72. Never again will I utilize your services.

Friendly caring staff. They make our somewhat neurotic Dog comfortable and happy doing his visits. He almost seems to show-off how good he looks after the visits. Its very funny.

I love going to Petco it’s super convenient and has most of what I need for my fur babies! I’ve only used the grooming services a couple times but both times I’ve been very satisfied! I would definitely recommend petco grooming to anyone who asked!
