I love this store. It's just the right size with a very good selection of products. Their produce is nice and fresh. There is a huge vitamin/supplement section as well. The best part is the staff. They are always friendly and helpful. Prices are about what you would expect in a natural food store.

Very helpful staff. They can order and look up anything from vitamins to those weird healthy chips you heard a friend raving about. Chances are they may already have it in stock. Plus their prices are pretty good compared to other organic produce in bigger grocery stores.

We drive 45 minutes to buy supplements, frozen and refrigerated organic choices. Expect higher prices for the quality you are getting, but well-worth the trip. The staff is helpful in helping you find items and there's always something new to try. Who knew I would like hash brown cauliflower? Can't find that in our little Montana town!

Went in there for the first time today and got a warm welcome from Alyx, one of their staff who seems to handle the vitamin section. They were intelligent, kind, and made me feel welcome.Overall the place has a calm, welcoming vibe, like an old neighbor grocery store except for folks who care deeply about the quality of their food.Their bulk selection is small and prepackaged, but they keep it refrigerated to prevent spoilage or oxidation which is very smart. The prices are quite a bit higher by weight than WinCo.I would say this is a great spot for produce, specialty items, vitamins and helpful nutrition advice

This is literally the best grocery store in the city of Missoula. Low prices and a great selection of healthy organic, vegan food. But the best thing about it is the staff which is unfailingly professional and friendly. I've been coming there for 10 years and they've always had great people working there.

This store seems more like a local establishment than a large chain - in stark contrast to Good Food Store, which has a definite large chain vibe. Really threw me for a loop when I found out the opposite was the case. It has more of a low-key vibe, a bit shabbier but more attentive staff and lower prices. The main downside is the lack of a bulk section - and I think less selection in general than Good Food Store. Otherwise, it would be the clear winner in my book. Not that I don’t like GFS, it’s just got that wanna-be Whole Foods, trying too hard vibe. I prefer the middle-aged hippie feel of Natural Grocers - at least this one, I haven’t been to any other locations. I’d definitely recommend it for your non-bulk health food store needs.

Not sure why the entry box for the balloon dogs contest was unavailable on August 26. The deadline is August 31. As a regular store customer, I was disappointed and won’t be entering contests that are run in this arbitrary way. A waste of my time.

Outstanding selection, especially in the vitamin/supplements area. The produce aisle is smaller than other health-oriented stores, but that would follow because the store itself is smaller physically.Employee interaction and helpfulness is amazing, and the place smells absolutely fantastic!Still amazing two years later.

Oh it is so nice to visit Natural Grocers food store. On the outskirt of Missoula - a place where you will find lovely produce (fresh), lots of hard-to-find organic items; meat, and all the staples. They also sell vitamins, supplements and have a nice department in the back where you'll find baskets, toiletries, lotions, etc. They have wonderful tea and coffee to offer. A great freezer department that holds organic, top notch foods. Actually there is quite a variety of Items and they cover many of your needs. You can bring your own bag for packing your groceries or they happily supply cardboard boxes to pack your items in - from things they received in shipping. Be sure to treat yourself to a Natural Grocers tote bag - so you keep it in the car, tucked away and when you get there you'll always have it handy. I'd like to mention that the produce is really beautiful; wonderful items and some you cannot find at other stores in Missoula. Be sure to put Natural Grocers on your to do list and make a visit soon!

Nothing bad to say about this place. The smell when you walk in is like nothing else. I love it. Staff is VERY welcoming. Helpful without being overbearing. I've come with my whole family, just my kiddo and by myself. Each time was the same experience, fantabulous. They have really great sales all of the time and have little events that teach all kinds of things about your food and how to eat healthier. The pricing isn't outrageous either. Everyone should give it a try.

Amazing customer service there. I usually have one of the employees come up to me and ask if I am finding what I need, or if they can help me with anything. Which is wonderful! They are very knowledgeable and can offer suggestions for what you may need. All around it is a wonderful atmosphere with wonderful people, and I am very grateful to have them.

I do about 90% of my grocery shopping here and I love it! The prices tend to be cheaper than the other healthy store in town (ahem), and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable! The store is well organized and it's easy to find things. If you can't find something, a helpful employee is always nearby. The grocery selection is quite impressive given the size of the store, with lots of odds and ends that help to make it a one stop shop.There is one particular cashier who is always smiling and chatting up customers and she makes my day every time I see her. Her customer service is stellar and she deserves a raise!

I'm not a huge health food store shopper, but I stopped here the other day and was really pleasantly surprised. The prices were much lower than I expected and the produce was cheaper than the non organic stuff at a regular store, the fruit I bought was delicious! Huge supplement selection and lots of unique soaps and lotions and body care stuff. I was only in there a short time but I had at least 4 people ask me if I needed help in different areas of the store. I'll be a regular from now on!

They have great big prices. Some of the characters are really nice. Some are kind of robotic and not that they're not nice but I don't know they don't seem to really have much of a personality.

I absolutely love this store! They have a great selection of everything there that you could possibly want. Easy to find products and super friendly and helpful people. The prices are also good. They believe in keeping prices low so you don't have to wait for a sale. I highly recommend Natural Grocers!

They're like a smaller version of The Good Food Store. So just as great, but just not the room for the variety of things.But they are like your smaller local store that when you need something quickly, or you check your fridge or pantry for that last minute dinner item and find the container empty or the last egg gone; then the Natural Grocer is the place to go get those last minute things.Go give 'em a shot! 😀

This place is smaller than the Good Food Store but they still have a good variety and have always got help when I needed it. Friendly employees and good prices. I appreciate the help I get when looking for information on supplements and when they don't know the answer they will find the answer. Give them a try, I think you'll be happy you did.

I got wonderful personal attention when I needed help with hair healthcare products. When it came time to check out I found out several of their specials you have to have their club ID for it I didn't like that it made me very uncomfortable however they did go back check the prices and give me my money back so great customer service but they are seriously understaffed a bunch of nice people though!
