Love this garden center. From the mini fairies to the strawberry 🍓 plants. Lots to choose from. They also have lots of statues and fountains. Great prices for Mother's Day. Super busy. Great job. 🌺

I had to do a greenhouse tour for an assignment and I’m so glad I chose to come here. One of the managers named Aaron and another associate working up front were really friendly and super helpful. I had quite a few questions but they were really knowledgeable so it made the process pretty painless overall. I went and looked around after that at the greenhouses and was really impressed , they had a great variety of plants and all of them looked really healthy and well kept! I will definitely be back with my family to do some shopping for our garden!

I love this place for their friendly and knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices compared to other stores in the area. The selection is a bit limited but what they do have is all high quality. Also it’s nice to be able to shop semi-local. I’m not clear on the details but Montana Ace is somehow distinct but affiliated with Ace in general, and the Montana Ace stores (almost all in Missoula) are around 30% employee owned. At least that’s what I heard, I could be wrong about that.I can’t stand that this listing still uses their old name, even though they’ve been Montana Ace | The Garden Place for years now. I took pictures of every single sign showing the correct name but Google refuses my attempt to edit the name. I think probably because they never bothered to update their website, which isn’t even accessible anymore. 🤷🏻‍♂️

All the employees were extremely helpful! I wanted a simple raised bed garden and they gave great recommendations, helped me get exactly what I needed, made sure I was getting a good deal, and even helped load and secure everything into my small SUV. Highly recommend!

Fancy Plants has a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants. I always stop by to check out their 50% and 75% off section. They also have a fantastic selection of conifers and native plants.

Always helpful and friendly and found the perennials I wanted. They have a good inventory of garden tools as well. I like how easy it is to get a heavy sack of mulch or bark. They put it in my trunk for me. Easy to pay for. They were short on help so had to go inside, but still got checked out in a timely manner.

I was just in and had a lovely experience! The staff was knowledgeable and led me around to show me all the plants that were safe for my cats and dog at home. I left with two beautiful plants and some bonus ladybugs. They also have a military discount which is much appreciated. I will recommend to anyone in need of well cared for plants. 🐞

Wow! A great selection even in the fall season! Aarin was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She took the time to educate us about our soon-to-be-planted trees. Deer resistance, planting locations, mulching, etc. Selection of spruce trees even better than other places in town and better prices too. Wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

Went there for a bag of potting soil. Came away with a moss trellis for my ivy, a tiny fern, a hanger for my spider plant, and a free bag of soil in addition to the one I bought because there was a promotion just for me after I complained about nobody helping an old lady load it into my car. Really nice "kids" running the place on a Sunday afternoon. For plant lovers, Fancy Plants is stimulation overload.

Websites all say open until 6pm. Most people work and in this town good luck getting there before 5. The only way to know they close at 5 is if your already there. The lady turned us away 5min to 5 as we had already drove across town to get there only to realize it was closed. Its my daughter's 1st birthday and my husband passed away 3weeks ago and we wanted a special plant for him.
