They did not show up in my email as they were supposed to, and these guys went out of their way to help me and get me the discount Promise. I gave it 2 stars instead of 4 because of a recent trip. I've always had GREAT service here, but during a time when we are supposed to be distancing, a clerk because of a computer issue on ACE's part would not accept a valid phone # - same number for 17yrs. She refused to make the transaction without a phone number even though it was their computer issue. Manager was called, but only after 10 additional minutes in a place that should have taken less than 2! ACE HDWE - train your people about common sense during the virus era!

Not helpful. I was looking for 4 stainless bolts. Asked the female assistant manager if they might have any in the back as they only had 1 in the bolt bins. She looked at me and said no I don't think so. And walked away. So I left and drove across town to Lowe's. This store is getting worse and worse over the last year. Time to just drive by this store and drive across town

Went in to find something for one of my college classes. Not a single person asked to help me as I wandered around for 20 minutes looking. Then when I left the cashier who had walked past me 4 or 5 times before, stared at me like I did something wrong. I went and got into my car and watched her come take a picture of my license plate. not cool. Didn't do anything wrong inside the store so was just confused.

Staff is usually pretty helpful, decent selection for both contractors and do-it-yourselfers. Free popcorn at the door, they now sell ammunition, but it's pretty pricey, and if you need a spare key they can hook it up. Some stuff is a bit more pricey than the box stores but they make up for it with customer service.

Great little version of the bigger Ace here in Missoula. For it's small size it had all that I needed and a few things I didn't know I did! Great part of town too, love having two Ace's here in town!

Eastgate is a great hardware store, but the best part is customer service. The folks who work there actually know what they doing, unlike many of the employees at Lowe's.

When I reported that a key had been cut incorrectly and the original lost, the folks at Montana Ace Eastgate went into overdrive: They paid a locksmith out of their pocket to get into the locked door and then had three free keys ready for me early the morning after I called them with my problem. Mission accomplished by exceptional, responsive service!

Purchased an item in the box and then returned the item when the product did not work. Then that night received a call from the assistant manager accusing me of returning a product they do not sell. The worst service and costumer relations ever. I will not recommend or buy anything from them ever again.
