Sam in Windows and Doors is great. Have had a problem for over a year with a door. He has worked with me and the company to resolve it. Hopefully this is the last time. Now they just need door installers. 5 stars to Sam.

We always love Lowe's, it has what we need, although last night we went to grab some tools, went to self checkout and this lady was hovering over us. I understand that theft happens, but this lady was standing right over us watching us as if we were going to steal something. She was standing about a foot away from the cash register that we were at. It made us feel so uncomfortable that we decided we should go to Home Depot instead. We probably won't go back there for a while because she made us feel insanely uncomfortable. If you're not going to have regular cashiers ready, don't send snobby people to hover. That was too much. We spent a few hundred dollars on tools, just to be treat like criminals.

We've used Lowes for a lot of needs over the years. Friendly and helpful staff, and mostly well-organized store. Some aisles not well marked, but can usually find someone to help.My concern today is with the inaccessibility of the "accessible" bathroom stall. It isn't any wider than any other stall, and only about a foot deeper, so no space to maneuver within the stall. No grab bars. Had to back out of the stall through a narrow door, and backed into an angled wall so I got stuck backing out, unable to turn out of the area.Would be fairly easy to acquire space from the neighboring stall and add grab bars.

Lowe's has so many things you never knew you wanted! Gigantic! They likely have what you need. Also, compared to Ace Hardware, they're less expensive for the exact same thing! I just wish more of the 20ish year old employees were nice/friendly or helpful .... instead of being helpful they're talking to eachother, ignoring lost customers. The people at the front are happy, helpful and friendly - but those that are hanging out further in,... not so much! Frustrating shopping.

We purchased a Mansfield toilet in May of this year and wanted to give a shout out to a very helpful employee named Major. It was our first time installing a toilet and he made sure we knew everything we needed to do it right. Excellent customer service!

Friendly staff, they always have what I need and what I come back for a few hours later when I’ve messed up a project. Got everything I needed here to rebuild my coffee table, and I got some pretty plants from the garden center too. I’ve rented their Bissell Carpet Cleaner before and that was a super easy process too. They also allow leashed dogs in too which is cool.

John and Dustin in appliances today were literally amazing! John helped us with the best deals on a new washer and dryer. Dustin was amazing with my 2 older boys asking 10 million questions when he wasn't helping other customers! They both made the whole shopping experience SOO easy and quick!

I purchased a vacuum/mop over ninety days ago and the wife threw away the box. She used the vacuum part once. I went to return it to at least get instore credit but the head honcho said I was SOL he could not help me. Which I feel is bologna. I spend a lot of frog skins here but it looks like I'll be going across the street to their competitor Home depot. Peace out Lowe's.

Came in here to simply purchase a thermometer. We were able to find what we needed right away.I also needed to use the restroom- however the stall I went to in the women’s restroom had no toilet paper .

So I would like to thank Brian (manager) in the Missoula store for helping me out at 9:55pm on Thursday night.Well pump control box died on me a few hours before and I had discovered I needed a replacement pressure tank as well.Brian located the only 36 gallon, which was the only one I found online in Missoula!!

We were picking up an online order and pulled up to one of the parking spots for an employee to bring out our order. I let them know we were there, and then we waited and waited. I finally went into the store to find out they had a computer glitch and had no idea we had been waiting outside. After speaking with an employee, our order was brought out in 10 minutes.

Negative 5 stars for effort, lack of professionalism, and zero integrity. They have no qualms backdooring a customer.It shouldn't be this hard to get customer service, let alone good customer service. I ordered my appliances, a dishwasher, range, and microwave, through Lowes, knowing that I had a marginal experience ordering laundry machines through them the year prior. I set my delivery date, with no issues whatsoever. I was hoping for a better experience this time around. I confirmed my Thursday appointment over the phone with two separate individuals from the store on Wednesday. The following day, their staff was a no show. I had already plumbed the kitchen sink and gotten the disposer ready for the diahwasher, and installed a 'tee' for the hot water line. Then, they no showed, so I can't use my sink. I called for a third time and was told my appointment had been rescheduled to the following week, without communicating to me. I'm gone that week for work. Because of this, I requested to speak with a manager, who said they would call me right back, assuring me it will be alright; no other communication, though. Instead of the manager calling me back, they had an appliance specialist call me, who offered no apologies for the total and complete lack of communication with the customer. He blamed it on the delivery system. It wasn't until this juncture that the company decided it was the right time to tell me that the dishwasher won't be arriving for another 3 to 4 weeks. I've since sold my old countertop dishwasher, have holes for a new dishwasher, and no new dishwasher, leaving me reasonably upset as a good paying customer.The unbelievable lack of communication from this staff has me dumbfounded. I still don't have a firm date on when my appliances will be at my house and the only recourse that was offered was a measly 10% off the already-discounted dishwasher.Missoula Lowes, you can bet I'll be reporting this to the BBB simply because your staff knew the dishwasher wasn't going to be here, yet promised me it would be so that you could make a sale. I feel backdoored and lied to as your customer. You can also bet that I'll never shop at Lowe's again and everyone I talk to about home improvement will be made aware of how you treat your customers.TL;DR. Don't go to Lowe's, they can't make good on their promises and they lie to your face.

Like every retail shop these days, Lowes is struggling with new employees or few employees. An order that was due on Wednesday was in the back of the store Friday at 5 PM but not checked in. I was told that the staff that checks stock would not return until Monday- when I protested the great employee I spoke to found a manager to push my order through. However, when we went to pick it up, we waited an hour in the load out, where we were told to go only to find out that our product was at customer service at the other end of the store and we hadn't known. Frustration level was high! In the future, I will pay more for delivery to my home rather than deal with this, In store service is just not good.

Update: I vaguely recognize my vitriol here, but I'm different now. This place is ok for some things and posts decent products, especially in cabinetry, but overall is pretty run down. It's hard being this kind of retailer, and harder working at one. Anyway, optimism is a great mood to stay in.Update: My boyfriend has made the error of trusting Lowe's with a very expensive shower door purchase. The product page displays in tiny, tiny print that a professional install team of two persons is needed to install the door. The door's manual, on the contrary, shows this requirement in gigantic bold print in multiple places full or many warnings. A glass door installer made it clear that even contractors regularly destroy these doors. So, a $1500 shower door that we cannot install and cannot return to this multi-fold embarrassment of a retailer.Due to this, I decided to take Lowe's up on their offer of "assistance" that is posted below for an earlier trashy experience trying to buy a washer and dryer.Everyone can see the carefully worded little blurb from "the owner" below, full of important and reassuring words like "internal escalation". When calling this number, we get the normal customer service department after trying to explain to the automated gal that we're calling after being requested to (by the owner) on Google Maps. The hold time to speak to these people is... 30 minutes! Hi five Lowe's, really doing well packing bits of share price onto this horrifically badly run franchise-like business. So long, lesson learned, don't ever buy anything expensive from Lowe's or learn as we have that this company is a dilapidated shell created to stuff meager dividends into a small group of people pockets.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------A mess, always. Half the employees seem to be in an existential daze, the other half are half insane with making up for it. The appliance section is a disaster with broken appliances and zero staff. Stock reserve apparently is best stored right in the too narrow aisles. Home Depot is worse though.Channel your Charen just this once, at whatever manager is unlucky enough to be on the hook.Maybe all of us together can get these places to work like normal retail stores, i.e. maybe we can start costing corporate a fortune in store credits for their gross negligence and lazy treatment of everyone involved (except their 65+ demographic shareholders).

I used to think they were as good as any other. They have gone to self checkout mainly. Despite their policy, I am never asked for ID when using our corporate account, and I have a need for parts daily. I have spoken to a store manager voicing my concern. They have not changed or taken action since. They seem not to be concerned with fraudulent charges or feel insulated and unmotivated. I personally don't want to play that game.

Workers need training in helping customers, not just walking around or sitting at a computer pretending to be busy. Update: 4/26/24 Employee coming from Lawn/ Garden outside area into store, I asked her to scan a jug of weed killer to see if it was the one on sale. She says "sorry I can't do that, I'm allergic to that stuff you'll have to find someone else. Look for a red smock". And started to walk away, I said " you don't have to touch it (she had black gloves on) I'm holding it. Just scan it". She continued to walk away. Seriously. *I do appreciate the woman who helped me get correct jug by getting down on the floor to reach it way in the back of the bottom shelf, and the cashier at the self checkout was a great help with getting the Military discount to work.

We were looking for a hot water heater and 2 other gentlemen came for the same product. The sales associate got the ladder and got them the item they needed. We tried to ask the staff a question and he just walked away smiling and completely ignored us. Terrible customer service and when you did find someone they would be in big groups trying to act like they were all busy. I only had 1 staff greet us and all the rest looked away or were sitting at the front counter. Worst experience ever and I will never step foot in there again. The place is a joke. Would leave no star at all if I could.

My father who is in a wheel chair due to hip surgery had these floors installed last fall and this is what happened one month after installation and they still have not fixed it! Came out and took photos twice and nothing since I have tried corporate and local store. Nobody wants to fix this and my dad has to deal with these floors everyday! I do work in the local community and have heard of other ppl struggling to get Lowes to fix their floors that they installed too! What a scam! Preying on ppl like this is horrible! Still nobody has fixed it and it’s been a month since I posted this. Now my dad has duct tape holding his floors together

Don't bother paying the $100 delivery fee. They will show up early, not bother with notifications,drive over your front lawn destroying the grass,and leave it in the most inconvenient place possible, because it's easier for them. They did this to me and my elderly mother last week.

We were helped immediately and knowing what we wanted were in and out of store in 15 minutes after purchasing two appliances. We had just left Home Depot after waiting over 30 minutes and never helped. Lowes has always been the better choice.

During a big purchase for my new home I wanted to bundle my appliances and stuff together. The first employee that helped me didn’t get it right so when I went to check out I couldn’t pay for the appliances. After already ringing up about 40 items, my invoice couldn’t be found. The front desk was not that helpful and here came Cameron to save the day!! Not only did he have to ring up every single small item from his handheld device into the computer. He talked to me, he smiled, he wasn’t upset or aggravated about it, he just took absolute amazing care of me. This could have gone so wrong had it not been him on the other side. He even called for help from someone else to make sure other customers where taken care of in his department. Which brings up Eric, who had helped me already multiple times in the store while looking for stuff for my new home. He came with a smile, even helped load an appliance for another customer and then came back to help again. I have owned homes all over this county and have been to probably 20 different Lowe’s stores and even worked at Lowe’s when I was in college 20 years ago! Hands down, best experience in customer service when something goes wrong I have had anywhere…… Give him a BONUS!!!!

I spent an hour shopping after doing a return that went seamlessly. The young lady that handled it was super professional and very knowledgeable she would get a 10 in my book. Lowes as a whole is incompetent. It was very busy and only 4 self serve registers open all of which were card only. Those of is paying cash were out of luck today. I personally won't waste anymore time with this company

Great location for Missoula's crazy traffic.There are entrances and exists on 3 sides, so that's a plus.I needed things from different departments & different people who helped me without hesitation and were all very helpful!The wait time at the register was maybe 2 mins , so that's another star
