I dropped of 216lbs of bone in elk and only received 95lbs back, and thats with the added weight of sinew for the ground. Please listen to all the other reviewers... this is quite bad.

All I do at H&H is get deer/elk meat ground, but they do a great job and get it back to you in 15 minutes. Fast, professional and friendly!

Very pleased with my deer processing, I also had them make salami, Jerky and bratwurst.I had one heck of a time finding a butcher that would process my deer on the hoof except H&H, the other butchers required you to debone the deer and in late November they were full and not taking any more animals.

We used to take all our wild game here. We just recently picked up our finished product. Hahahah what a joke!!! We have used them for many years with no issues, however this time around a whole deer approx 4 years old over 150lbs finished out to one box of steak and burger combined. With one roast!!! When called all they did was look to see if they missed something called back and said nope we don't have it. Then go to cook burger that was supposed to be 2#lbs but are 1#lbs, we have one sausage and one burger but both marked as burger. We did not order sausage. I am questioning if I even got my own game back. So disappointed. 🤢🤮 not recommended.

Please do not take your wild game to be processed here! I'd give zero stars if possible!Dropped off 4 quarters of a deer and only got 1/2 the meat shipped back to us. They even wrote that there were only Hind Quarters on the ticket when there where in fact front and hind. Called to say that HALF of our meat is missing and they say no. I don't know if it's because we were out of town customers so there's not a lot we can do about it. They stole our meat, it took 2 months and multiple phone calls to even get the little bit they did ship us!

Extremely poor customer service experience. Mike and Brad clearly don't care about how they treat customers. Instead of caring about how they situation would be resolved, they make it your problem and offer no solution. I'm sorry I recommended the place for a friend. Never again.

This place has the most wonderful bison bones for making bone broth. I was able to choose the bones I wanted and the staff were very knowledgeable regarding how to make bone broth and even gave me some tips from their own experiences making this kind of broth. I believed their prices to be reasonable and the staff were very kind, genuine and friendly. I will definitely be going back to this business.

Friendly staff and good products but I won't go back for wild game processing again. They lost a good portion of my elk (including both backstraps and tenderloins). They have been unresponsive and have made no attempt to rectify the situation when notified of their mistake.

Worst experience at a butcher shop in 30 years. They didnt weigh the meat when l dropped it off. Set the meat on the ground , not on meat hooks. " Lost " ( or ate ) my elk tenderloins. Then charged me $528.49 for my partial elk. Most l paid for an elk previously was $330 for all the same cuts. Rip off. Do yourself a favor and dont drop off wild game here. Major disappointment. Not only didnt get all my meat back. They ripped me off for over $200.

I paid 10 per lb for sticks made there. I went to superior meats and the same sticks were 4.50 per lb. I took in 26 lbs of meat and only received 10 lbs of sticks. Won’t ever use them again.

I would recommend processing your wild game yourself or taking it somewhere else that is more organized. I dropped off 58lbs of meat, mostly de-boned with some bone in, and only received 24lbs of meat back. They claim that 34lbs of what I dropped off was bone/scraps? Ridiculous.

very first non-kosher butcher/deli, coast to coast that not only doesnt sell pork bellies (um..thats what bacon is made from, btw) but seemed unfamiliar with the cut..smdh, see? this is what happens when you make cursive an elective..

Took in 125 pounds of butchered elk meat to be processed for hamburger and sausage. Each bag of meat was labeled with my name phone number and what it was to be processed into. I got 65 pounds of hamburger back and no sausage. Absolutely no help or effort was made to determine where the missing meat went. Seems to be a trend.

They are by far th best game processing shops here in town, they'll hold on to your game meat for you and let you make payments of your struggling financially.The staff are always kind and friendly and I have to say it's a local business that needs to stay.

Some of the best game you’ll come across in Montana. Go with the dried Buffalo Pepper. Make sure you throw any purchase in the fridge for preservation.

Very friendly folks but the store has "Banker's Hours." Closed weekends and 10-6pm on weekdays. Not good hours for a retail place.
