I like this store. But recently while shopping, an employee approached me and asked if she could help, of course I responded due to the size of the product I was needing (pork)!!! As I related what I size , she began talking in a derogatory sounding voice. As I don’t riddle cue others, I don’t put up with it. I cut my regards short with this rude individual and departed!!! I have not returned and may not!!! she turned a good gesture on her part into a sad, rude experience!!!!

I like the bulk section, fresh veggies, and the hot pizza and occasionally the salad bar. Outside of that it can get rather pricey here, but i think that’s how they roll. Also, the fresh ground peanut butter is wonderful, just be careful not to overfill the container cuz the machine keeps spewing a bit longer after you let go of the grind button!

This is literally the best grocery store I've ever been to. I wish we had one where I'm from. Great Cafe, amazing alternative meat options, high quality produce, lots of bulk choices, kitchen items that aren't $5 throwaways... You really can't go wrong. Come to Renton, Washington next!!

The Good Food Store is now, and always will be, the best store in Missoula! I have been shopping here for over 10 years. The best quality groceries in town! Renovations in the past several years have only made it better than before. The attention paid to customer service, locally sources goods and food that is actually actually Good for Me! There's none better, and I've looked from time to time, in other towns, along the way. THANK you GFS!! Where the Food is Good and the quality, sincere. 😊

There's so many good things to eat about the good food store. I come here for more than just groceries. They have a great beer and wine selection, they have incredible local selections, the best quality seafood you'll find in the valley, great coffee shop, home goods, bulk bins, you name it.

Bad experience with Karen the cashier. She was in the express lane cashier today. The moment I pulled in she started looking at my items and rudely scolded “this is express lane!! * points to the cashier behind her * and says we are both express lane!”Express lane handles up to 8 items; I did have 11. But the way she handled it was downright rude. The express cashier behind her checked my items out no issues. Karen is the only one to have ever said something. Karen could have very well handled it professionally, instead of the scolding.I shop here because they have items I can’t find at natural grocers, but I’m not the most excited about coming here.I actively avoid the beauty section because they make you feel you’re being watched constantly, so I take my business to natural grocers because they let you shop in peace without someone constantly breathing down your neck.Overall, GFS is an overstimulating mess for me, but I shop here because I have to sometimes, unfortunately.

This store is amazing and I will shop there in every town my travels take me to that one is located. I have been looking for kumquats for months and haven't been able to locate them and was able to here along with so many other amazing items. Thrilled to have discovered this store. Full of natural products and organic food items. Also has a great wine selection, great food bar and unique items.

Not all of their food is organic which they CLAIM all over their website and store that they are. Specifically their brussels sprouts and shallots. People are PAYING organic prices for conventional vegetables. That doesn’t seem ethical to me.

This is possibly THE BEST natural foods store I've visited in the U.S., and I'm familiar with some well-known stores such as the outstanding Greenstar in Ithaca, NY. The Good Food Store impressed me with its pristine cleanliness, bright atmosphere, gorgeous produce section, amazingly friendly and happy staff, beautiful salad bar and prepared foods bars, and lovely coffee/tea/juice bar. It's a treasure of a place that we visited twice in two days and I can't recommend it highly enough.

This store has been a great store since its opening ! Is always super clean you can find any healthy food or vitamins there they have a deli with fresh hand made sandwiches and a amazing salad/ soup bar as well with a super awesome selection of salad and fruit to choose from ! Is definitely a top recommendation to go there as you will not be disappointed .... is something for everyone's in the families needs ! Well healthy food wise that is 😁☺️

Tons of fantastic gluten free options. From pastas to breads to pizzas. They also have gluten free options from the local gluten free bakeries. Just a bit pricey but worth the safety and taste!

This review is for the crew on Sunday, late morning, 1/21/24-Saw a produce expert building a gorgeous broccoli tower-My Ruby T is perfection (wrote this after only 1 bite, currently eating it)-Cashier had enthusiasm about oranges, which I love to talk about (and the variety is one of gfs's best offerings) and my grocery bags were packed thoughtfully.Thanks crew!P.S Will you please carry Casa Pablos Salsa?!

Review only applies to meat dept. Meat dept stated they can't do thin cuts like you get for hotpot or fondue. Every other meat dept that does custom cuts will do it with enough notice as they must partially freeze the meat for easier cutting. Instead having it done at Market Fresh. (NOTE the gfs meat itself is great)

Great store!! Huge bulk section of pasta, coffee, grains, rice, nuts, even sauces like soy, sriracha, etc. I even found my Mac & Jacks!! And it was on sale!! Since when did they start selling in cans? Last I checked they were still on-tap only!! Woot!!

It's a Missoula staple. My review might be somewhat nostalgic but I've been going here since it was a tiny corner store where the YWCA is now. I have cherished childhood memories of that little store and although the "new" store is very different, I still think of that little store when I go here. Yeah prices are a little high but you can definitely find unique stuff here you don't find everywhere else. Plus the bulk sections and reusable container style purchasing is awesome. Thanks for being a part of making Missoula so cool.

This place is like wonderland. It has such an expansive variety of the products I love and can't find anywhere else. It's foodie heaven for the culinarily conscious. A literal cornucopia of top shelf taste bud titillating produce and products.The good food store is a rabbit hole I could enjoy getting lost in for hours if only I had the time.

One of my favorite co-ops, because of the immense selection of bulk foods, sauces, seasonings, etc. and also the hot bar, salad bar and prepared food in general.. and last but not least the coffee bar where you can sit and eat the food and drink the copy they sell there that is always perfectly brewed. Also nice that they have a water station there and silverware.The whole store and the coffee bar area in the dining area, and the restrooms are always super clean.Really cool landscaping as you walk in with a really well done flower garden that is hard to not stop and admire, and also smell a rose or two.Also the prepared flowers and flower bouquets right when you walk in look amazing.I finally bought a few flowers last week for an upcoming anniversary, much thanks to Hannah, who was nearby and was so helpful and gregarious with helping me pick out the flowers and also advice on taking care of them on the way to Kalispell. Her advice was spot-on because they're still looking amazing three days later!I was just listening to a Wayne Dyer audiobook and he was talking about higher spiritual energy people and once you get above 200 on this scale you start to radiate goodness and influence people just with your presence.He also talked about how this happens with food too and how you can hold an apple with pesticides and feel weak, and then hold one without pesticides, and feel strong- even though you don't know which apple had pesticides before holding each one. Something within knows.I realize after listening to that Wayne Dyer audiobook why I feel so good walking into co-ops, but especially this one more than just about any other one I've been in.So on the last trip I not only walked into the store feeling good because I just completed a workout, but also because I basked in the glow of the positive ambiance of the food within the store, and also had an encounter with a high-energy being (Hannah).Also the coffee was spectacular (as always) so I floated out of the store on a pretty good high (and no I didn't stop at the Greenhouse Farmacy beforehand).I included a view of a in the distance from my camping spot in the mountains the morning of.

This is a great great great grocery store in MT. it gives any and all organic stores a run for their money. The only downside is the parking lot. It's small for the size of the store.
