OK, so this may be long. I first went to this Dollar Tree two years ago. I was so disappointed in how it looked. Bare shelves, only one cashier and the place was dirty. So, I thought I would go this morning and see if it changed. It did! All shelves were stocked neatly, place was clean, and I found lots of cool items I was hoping for. Way to go, whoever turned this sad store around. I absolutely love Dollar Tree and will be going back to this store a lot.

This place went downhill so fast! At first it was understaffing. Then, it was boxes of merchandise piled high in the aisles with nothing on the shelf. Next, it was only one checker per shift with lines that were backed up into the aisles. Now, they have decided to close down altogether on Sundays, once again claiming staffing issues.This screams truly poor management to me. None of these issues happened overnight but rather a steady decline over weeks and months. When you cannot find enough workers to keep your store open, I question how much they're even offering workers or how bad the working conditions are for this mess to happen in the first place.I'd encourage you to spend the extra money, if you have it, and spend it elsewhere as your trip to this Dollar Tree will leave you frustrated and without the items you were hoping to get.

This used to be a wonderful store with fast and friendly service where you could find amazing deals on terrific items but that could not be farther from reality now!The hours posted at the store says 10 am to 8 pm however more often than not the store is closed when I try to go during posted hours. When the store is open the shelves are not stocked and the staff is as few and far between as the inventory.

I know it's holiday season, but the lines where long. Only have 2 Cashier even tho there where 2 other employees walking around. 1 women came and helped 1 person then walked away. Store was dirty. Did not have a good time was very disappointing.

There was an older lady worker who was extremely rude, I went in with my kids and she was yelling at them. She was following me around and glaring at us. Made me feel extremely uncomfortable!! Horrible customer service!! Horrible !!

One cashier working. The line is to the back. When I asked where a manager was I was told he’s out back unloading a truck. Customer service should be priority. Unload a truck at some other time. Take care of the customers you have now or they won’t be customers later.

The higher ups should be beyond ashamed what has happened to this once wonderful store... Yes, there is a severe worker shortage, but if its that bad, why open it if theres only one person to work.There was only one worker for the whole store and she opened at 10am. By 10:30, the line was all the way to the back wall. One worker!! OVER An hour wait!!! This poor lady was told by her bosses no bathroom break. This is what she relayed to us.. The store was dirty, torn apart, and lots of bare areas. Management needs to to something IMMEDIATELY!!

Here's the thing. I arrived at 9 am website says they open at 8 am. They open at 10 am. There have been at least 25 cars that have driven up checked the doors and left. There are a few waiting in the parking lot, but can't go in. Why aren't you open? It's Monday morning. Frustrating!

Fix your hours. Online and on your signs it says open from 10am to 8pm all week. Also having no open or closed sign to even show if you are open makes it very frustrating. I shouldn’t have to get out of the car just to find the doors locked and the signs are incorrect.

Massively mismanaged store. Worst Dollar Tree store in the state of MT and likely entire northwest area. Staffing is NOT their issue!!. The managment is severely dysfunctional. I work full time M-F with another employer but offered this Dollar Tree store to temporarily work my weekends for them stocking shelves and whatever they needed so they could catch up until they could hire more staff. I completed the required online application and then the regional manager contacted me and set a interview time directing me go down to the local store. When I arrived the store manager refused to interview or even speak to me. She even refused to inform me directly as she directed the lone clerk to tell me she was too busy to interview even tho it was fairly slow at the time. When I offered to set up another time that would work for her the manager said nothing and simply walked away. Afterwards, when I informed the regional manager of this experience she groaned and said she was working to replace this store manager soon. However, that store manager stayed there several more months then finally was replaced just recently. Nonetheless store is still in shambles, dirty with one checker forced to check out a massively unending line of frustrated customers!! Store does not keep consistent, regular hrs with often a hastily handwritten sign on door stating they had to close early. No other Dollar Tree store in the state of MT has such severe management issues. Missoula with the 2nd largest population in the state has one of the smallest, most dysfunctional Dollar Tree stores in existence. Great Falls and Billings each have multiple Dollar Tree stores to serve their populations. Helena has a large, consistently well run store. Same with Kalispell. According to a Dollar Tree employee in Helena, the Missoula store is a well known running joke with a pathetic record. So what could possibly be so different about Missoula that makes it this dysfunctional and incapable compared to other towns??? Hmmmm. 🐴

The staff are always friendly, and they're doing their best. However this store is a wreck. Like 2 years ago this place was always well stocked and had a frequently rotating stock. It WAS dependable and cheap. Currently the stocks are barren and the holiday section is never stocked. It honestly looks like a closing sale in there. You can order online if you want large quantities but sometimes you only need 1 or 2 items, unfortunately this store is not likely to have it...

Great place to buy gift bags and tissue paper. Lots of July 4th decoration's and crafting supplies. It was awesome to see so many employees stocking shelves, thank you.

I used to like to come to this store for various things, but the store is almost completely bare! I talked to the nicest gentleman and says it's due to lack of help and everything is still in warehouse and they can't keep up. He was very helpful. Sadly the pay for even getting hired on is very meager and people that I have talked to that work at this store are making less than the new comers. The nice man I talked to is Jay and he said he has worked at this store for 7 years! I think he deserves a good raise because he does everything need with no complaints.

Update: I did talk to someone at corporate and they asked for my contact info. Never got a call or email from them. I finally had to call customer service to cancel the order and file a complaint, but there doesn't seem to be any follow through yet.Absolutely the rudest customer service in my experience! I placed a small online order a month ago. A week ago I received an email it had arrived, but I was told by an associate that it hadn't been organized and to come back in a few days or the manager would yell at me. I said I would be back next Monday, giving them time to put a few tablecloths and glass beads in a box. Today I come to pick up the order and am told to come back in a few days again. I asked to speak to the manager and finally she appears, only to snap at me to come back tomorrow. I told I wouldn't be back tomorrow, I live 45mins away and only come to town on Mondays. I said I need to cancel my order. She yelled over her shoulder to do it myself, that she does have the time. Other customers stared in disbelief and her employees were very apologetic for her. I will be calling corporate to report her indefensible behavior and will never come back along as she's store manager.

Operating hours mention that the store is open on Sundays. I had a busy schedule and went to buy something I needed just to figure out that I had wasted my time and the store was closed. Please update your operating hours immediately.

Sadly this place has really gone down hill. I had no problem with the prices going up 25% and I was hoping this would bring in more products and they'd also be able to hire more workers.Sadly, shelves are still empty and the lines take ages with only one lane open.Bummer.

I use to come to this store a lot and leave happily by the selection and the good friendly staffing, lately however there is nothing on the shelves, literally bare. when you go in to buy a balloon for a child that's all excited and the cashier makes a big deal out of it, because she wants to exchange it for an already blown up pumpkin balloon , and literally starts laughing about it with another customer in a bad way, that is NOT ok, nor is it professional. I won't be bringing my family back in that store again. Staff is very rude and lines are also long for barely any items on the shelf. Overall bad visit to this store.

The Manager of this store is downright rude. My girlfriend asked her if she could use the restroom, which is keyed, since the manager was holding said key, and this woman got about 4 inches from my girlfriends face and proceeded to lecture her on how "these bathrooms are for employees only" (there are two of them, and they used to be for general use). There were other people around and my girlfriend felt very much attacked. I will never be doing any sort of shopping or business with this company in the future due to the tactless and unprofessional persons they hire for their team.

It is Very bad in that store a lot of the shelves are still empty you can't even use the restroom there. I am on Social security disability and I only get so much a month and the Dollar Tree is the best place for me to do my grocery shopping. You need to close the store until you get people to work there.

Horrible place, I have been coming here for years and today, well today is the day I boycott Dollar tree. Myself and a small child needed to use the restroom. I asked the old lady if I may please use the restroom and she shoved a whisk in my face and said very loudly "this is the employee key so no". When the grandmother of the small child asked if she could please use the restroom the old lady said very loudly "ok Jesus ladies I'll let you use "our" bathroom(there are two restrooms) but don't go telling everyone I let you use the restroom....all while shoving a whisk in my face. She told me to "shut up" when I asked why she was being so rude when all I did was ask to use the restroom. I left my full cart with about $70 worth of items in the isle and walked out along with about 10 other people. I'll spend my money elsewhere I don't care anymore. After this I won't step foot in this place again

Places absolutely barren honestly the kind of empty that even trucks not showing up on time would not explain. Rows upon rows of empty shelves, no food items, no basic necessity items like deodorant or toothpaste I've never seen a dollar store like this it's tragic. however the cashier was an absolute sweetheart he pushed on with a smile on his face. can't say I'll be back though unfortunately. Whatever is going on on the corporate level they need to get their stuff together because employees and customers are both suffering for it.

The shelves were bare and boxes were full but nobody was putting it away. Every time I go in there lately you dont have any thing on the shelves anymore.There's been no bread products in that store for months.I used to be able to by generic brand of oxy clean in the orange container pet fresh litter and carpet freshener. Even the glassware shelves are bare. I think one or two cashiers and put the rest to stock shelves, even if the are managment or assistant managers. You are not going to have anymore customers if you dont.

Your hours say you are open until 9pm. All the lights are on inside but the doors are locked. It's 4pm! There have been many people stopping by to come in but apparently the store is closed. There is no sign on the door stating hours. I called and no answer, even let it ring several times with no answer. It looks like there are employees in there walking around but the doors are locked.

I can understand the empty shelf issues they have been having since they have maybe 3 people that work there, but when your hours say you are open until 8pm and your doors are locked at 6pm, but all the lights are on, and no note or notice on the door? That ain't right. Especially not to the elderly who have a hard time getting around as it is. Shame on you Dollar Tree aka now the 5 Quarter Store.
