It's funny how people drive up to this place not knowing or caring that the place is over 60 yrs old and then complain that there is no drive through. You see that there is no indoor seating. You stand outside and order at the window. It is in a residential neighborhood. They don't serve hamburgers and fries. Clearly, there is something very different about this little ice cream stand and to most who stop by, something very special. For over 60 yrs, this place has been serving up happiness and nostalgia to the many thousand of customers who have dined there. Of course, there is no drive through! They weren't even invented yet when this place opened. If you are too rushed or impatient to park your car and actually open the door and trouble yourself to walk over to a window to place your order, this place is not a good fit for you. Otherwise, marvel at the experience and enjoy your day. Great food. Great service.

This is THE Dairy Queen for me. I love the old building and the fact that it's in a neighborhood, not on a busy business loop. This location is a destination in the summer, whether walking or driving, sweet memories are made here. Oh, and the DQ desserts are always amazing!

Got a blizzard chili dog and a Julius. Blizzard wasn’t mixed at all and all the strawberries were clumped to the side. The Orange Julius was literally watery orange juice. The chili dog had a literal equivalent of 1 tsp of chili on it 10/10 not going again to this location

Order the slushy drinks with ice cream in them. Way better than Blizzards .Customer service was ok...They accidentally charged me for a more expensive wrong drink. When confronted about it, they just apologized and gave me a free blizzard coupon for later. I just wanted a refund and not have to hold onto a coupon to just forget about in my purse.

This location had a small parking lot though they did have several picnic tables. The staff is very pleasant; however, they got our order wrong 3 times. They do honor coupons. We did have to wait in line at the walk-up, as there is no drive-through. The wait was less than 5-minutes. The food was great. To exit the parking lot, as we parked in the outer row, we had to exit onto an alley that was a blind corner both ways. It was not the usual experience that we have had at other DQs.

This is a really cool location. Looks like an old WienerSchniztel A frame building. Walk up only. No drive thru or inside seating area. Very popular in summer..... very popular any nice day I would imagine.

They offer tokens for purchase that you can turn in for a dilly bar! Great way to have some ice cream treats stashed in your glovebox without having to spend a lot on a blizzard!

What a cute neighborhood ice cream stand! I love that this DQ is in the middle of an actual neighborhood. Walk up and order and hang out in the lot or at the picnic table or take away. Btw the New S’mores Shake and S’more’s Blizzard are absolutely the best thing DQ has ever come out with hands down!!!

Have been going to this location for many years. Always happy to see February 14 come when they open again. There seems to be confusion about where to stand to order and there’s always people in line that aren’t ready to order yet, most of the time holding the line up talking to their dogs, kids and friends. It’s just an awkward set up. Order and move on.

A very popular DQ location. The family that owns it has been there for years. Very friendly place and they have free dog ice-cream cones. Definitely a lot more of a local feel than a typical chain restaurant.

Probably won't go back again. Ordered for my son a cheese dog, he also wanted a order of pretzel sticks with queso and a drink, I got a freeze. Pretty sure they charged me twice, no recipe but said they only charged me one time. I'm a disabled vet, so no discount. I was at a different DQ a day before and it was $4 for 2, this one was $5 for 2. I asked when it changed and she just looked at me and turned around. Got the food. My freeze was more of a Kool aid. The hot dog my son said had no flavor and threw into the garbage. The drink was ok he said. We opened up the queso and it smelled bad and looked burned and was maybe a quarter full, it went into the garbage. So he just ate the pretzels. So not a very high review. The older couple setting at the bench there said they were very disappointed in the food and service as well. Guess I'll see about the charges on my bank card on Monday........

It was good but I definitely was bummed when I pulled up as we were heading out of town to realize there was no drive through. But for a family stop getting out and going to the window would have been fun. The food was awesome and so was the service.

Favorite DQ in town, they do punch cards so you can get every 5th blizzard free. Always have great deals going, dilly bars on wednesdays, and excellently mixed blizzards. I also love the small venue, reminds me of the one I went to as a kid.

A true local neighborhood dairy Queen. Complete with the usual entourage of high-schoolers working to give you that perfect ice cream curl and upside-down blizzard. Seating available nearby, but Higgins is a pretty busy street, and the seating is between a fence and a parking lot. Maybe take your ice cream for a quick walk to nearby Bonner park instead.

Service was slow drinks runny. Window girls seemed rude to the customers not just me but the group in front of us and behind us. When the customer in front of us asked about the soupy milk shake the server snidley replyed we put milk in it so you can drink it. This is the first time I've been there and the server's were bad like this. They need a new crew.
