My friend and I came in for a walk in and wanted bee tattoos! Joey did both of our tattoos. My friend went before me ended up with an amazing tattoo with lots of details and he made sure it was everything she asked for! She was incredibly pleased and happy with her end result because Joey went above and beyond for her. It took him an hour for her tattoo and it showed. While my tattoo on the other hand took about 30 minutes and Joey seemed to rush my tattoo. I got what I asked for but nothing more than that. I didn’t get white highlights or the colors I asked for. I wanted light pink and purple for the flowers and got bright instead. I am not complaining because it was a walk-in and my tattoo is still really great. I am a bit disappointed though because Joey went above and beyond for my friend but not me. I am now having to go to another tattoo shop once it heals to get it touched up and add the extra details it’s missing. I think I may have had a different experience if I had booked the appointment in advance. I’m overall happy with the tattoo but definitely think it needs more. I’d recommend blague owl tattoo for anyone in Missoula! Joey is an awesome tattoo artist and made sure my friend and I were comfortable! I just wish I got the same experience and details in my tattoo as my friend.Service: Tattoos

I wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to Cyrus. He was very quick to communicate about openings and days that would work best for work schedule given I work a typical 9-5. This was my first ink in nearly 7 years, and I felt comfortable during the entire process. It was very reassuring to hear that I was doing great with keeping my arm still (although my leg was involuntarily twitching). I met Joey G. as a customer in my store. I had been told he was an artist and scoped his work out on Instagram. He was easily approachable in person and friendly. I asked what kind of work he preferred and he was quick to say he was "open to trying new things" which was very welcoming. I contacted him on Instagram soon after and he quickly responded to get me scheduled. The tattoo I chose is 2 hands, one on each side of my behind. I was comfortable and Joey was completely professional the entire time. He placed the first stencil on as a reference and placed the second stencil on a few times over, to ensure that the hands were as symmetrical as physically possible. I especially appreciated this (and so does my spouse). The healing was very quick. No hard lines or scarring. His line work and small details are impeccable! The placement is a shame because it is by far, my most impressive piece as well as my favorite (and I cannot share with everyone). Joey is CARE-ful. He is personable. Professional. And CLEAN. I highly recommend him. I will be going to him for all future tattoo appointments! 10/10!Service: Tattoos

Came in here to get a repair of a tattoo. The artist Nick has really been kind and attentive throughout the process. He listens to me and what I am looking for and his follow through had been great so far. We are still working on my piece and I can't wait to finish it! Buck had done work for my fiance and it is pristine in detail. He is also an incredible artist. Plan ahead though... People know it and he's booked out for a bit.

Fantastic! Was so impressed with this place. Very professional, clean, friendly, and creative artists there. Not intimidating whatsoever and a comfortable space. Chris was wonderful, aboslutely great! I had a tattoo from a different parlor that I was disappointed with. Chris worked with me to offer suggestions and what my ultimate goal of the finished product would look like. She fixed it right up so that I love it again and I couldn't be more pleased. For any tattoo work in the future, I am definitely going to see her! Very pleased and will recommend them to friends and family.

Got a tattoo from Joey 7 years ago and I will never recommend him. He blew out my tattoo so badly I am scarred and it looks like I am permanently bruised. He definitely picks and chooses what tattoos to show on his instagram and website. So be sure to pick a different artistService: Tattoos

Hands down the best shop in town--nay, the region! I've done a couple big pieces there and have some more planned. A lot of great artists in which to chose. Lana has been girl for most of my work and does really impressive things. Yes, it's not the cheapest shop in town, but that's for a reason. If you're looking to put some real art on your skin, this is your place!

I've gotten a bunch of tattoos in Missoula and Blaque Owl is by far my favourite. I had 3 tattoos done by Lacy Z. She does amazing work. The shop is always really clean and everyone that works there is professional and friendly.
