Purchased a washer and dryer. At first, I left a crappy review, because the washer and dryer they sold me was not in stock in the warehouse, and they just didn’t show up on the delivery date, and didn’t warn me at all that something had happened to prevent the delivery, so I had sold my old washer/dryer and was stuck without one indefinitely, because they couldn’t even say when the set I had ordered would be in (no time soon). I was, of course, livid.However, I am ready and willing to revise my opinion of my Best Buy experience, since the Geek Squad went to bat for me, and got me a new and better washer/dryer set delivered to my home for the same cost. I am now a satisfied customer. This experience went from a 1-star experience to a 4-star experience. I would give 5 stars, but I was still without a washer/dryer for some time. It all worked out in the end, though.

I have been disappointed with my last few visits to this store in Missoula. I go to find a new extra large top load washer and I need it soon. The only models they stock are this one set of front load washer with matching dryer. I told him I want a top loader again. He then continues to trash talk all top loaders and why I really want a front loader. I even said all my friends with front loaders said they would never buy another one. I pointed out how he is really not even listening to me and pushing his agenda to sell this front loader. I left and bought a new washer somewhere else.

Still a good place to go for electronics. It's better than Walmart by far if you have any questions. The prices aren't that much more expensive either. I could have saved maybe $30 on the $300 TV I bought if I had gone online. It was worth the experience of being able to stand in front of my TV before I put my money up.

I had taken my fiance to look for a computer the staff found us and helped us with our purchase. They took the time to show us different options and gave us the ins and outs on each computer. They even helped us get a great deal on one that happened to be on sale.

They recently issued a fraudulent best buy credit to someone in my name who bought 5k worth of computers. When I tried to contact the store right after it happened I got a phone tree and non helpful operator overseas. Impossible to actually speak with an in store manager. Apparently they issue credit cards without even looking at identification. I don't even live in montana and haven't been there in years.

After my laptop stopped working I made an appointment to have it looked at. Keegan with the Geek Squad was very helpful and helped me weigh out all my options. After I decided to purchase a new laptop, Ken was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Happy with my purchase!

Customer service is awful. We bought an LG washer/dryer combo unit in August of 2023. The dryer quit working. I called the “concierge “ servant Best Buy and was told they could not schedule a technician to come out because there were none in my area and I needed to call LG. Could not get to a human at LG and was forced to use chat. After about 30-45 minutes of trying troubleshooting over chat, the person abruptly ended the chat with no resolution. They did tell me the nearest tech was 50 miles away and it would take 3 trips by him/her to make the machine unrepairable. I called Best Buy back and the rep consistently tried to talk over me and had no resolution other than to “escalate” the complaint and I’d get a response in 24-48 hours, refusing to give me a phone number or some other way to talk to somebody else. Unacceptable.

Purchased a j5create USB-C docking station from this Best Buy. This was highly recommended by Best Buy employee. Fast forward it was junk, worked some times and didn’t most. Decided to return and Colton Webb, the store manager denied the return because their return policy was 15 days and I was 6 days over. Manufacturer has a 90 day return policy and Best Buy cuts that back to 15 days. So they recommend this product, it’s bad and they cut the manufacturer warranty back from 90 days to 15 and won’t stand behind the product they both sell and recommend. Why would anyone buy from the company? I figured I’d support local business but NO thanks. Say goodbye to my business Colton, I can count on Amazon. Horrible customer service. PS I only have a 1 star because zero stars wasn’t an option

There is NO way to get in touch with this store unless you drive there. I don't know why they even have the doors open. It makes you wonder WHY. DON'T do business with a store that only let's you speak to people not in the stor, state or even the same country. It's as if after a sale they lick the door behind you.

It's a 6 hour trip for me, I waited 45 minutes for help, they showed the merchandise in I wanted in stock, and when I got there it wasn't, they had no technical knowledge about the merchandise. I had to have it shipped, it appears to me that if you are having a sale you would have the stock to bag it up especially if the product is 4000 dollars and you are running out sounds like a high demand to me. They didn't even offer any discounts on the other merchandise I purchased due to the inconvenience. I believe if you are selling a product, you should be more knowledgeable about the merchandise to be able to help the consumers after all this is called sales. I was in sales, and they trained us on the merchandise. I guess that's not important anymore. Their way of trying to give me discounts was signing up for their credit card with citi Bank with a high interest. WOW, there goes the neighborhood.

I have had the worst experience with the car installation. You may save a few bucks but I rather pay more and go somewhere else. All the installers are very unprofessional and I have had nothing but issues and problems with my equipment and install.

Best buy is not a place I would recommend to anyone as they do not honor their own posted prices and will try to gouge at the register. Management is no help either. I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

This company has zero respect for its customers. DO NOT SHOP HERE. 0 stars!Don't bother spending your money here. They don't care about you, or your business. We ordered $1600+ worth of appliances for delivery. We tore our house apart and took the day off work to be there. Something happened to the delivery driver. Which was 1, not communicated to us, no one reached out, and 2 they did not reasonably reschedule, apologize, or take care of us. I also went in to the store twice on 2 separate days to ask what i could do to help, what my options were, why no one reached out to us. The manager said he wasn't able to reschedule us within the store system. This is terrible customer service. And that some other manager would call us, which they never did, so I had to go in again. And yes we do spend a lot of money there. We have a yearly membership which is $200+/year. And would not recommend wasting your money on a business that doesn't take customer service seriously. And or care about the repeat customers' business. They treated us like we're buying a $2 bottle of soda and treated us like garbage. Oh they offered to reschedule a delivery for us in 3 weeks and put us at the bottom of the delivery list. Because their other customers are more important and their scheduled delivery would take precedence over ours, which was blown off as they already have our money. We could either haul and set it up ourselves and dispose of the other stuff. Or wait 3 weeks which isn't going to work with our work schedules and incredibly rude and inconsiderate of our already wasted time.

Try and call the local store and all I get is a automated recording then put on hold for a employee only to find out my call gets transferred to their international location. What ever happened to just calling a business and getting to speak to representative that works their. What a joke!! I'll never shop at best buy again. I'm surprised their still in business.

Don't like the change to the return policy. 15 days.... I just bought a computer power supply like 45 days ago that blew out and can't return it. Bought a new one and couldn't get insurance on it .... I see what you're doing best buy.... To be fair the power supply wasn't a high enough wattage and that's on me but why not a partial refund on a part like that? They're supposed to last like 5 years mine lasted less than 2 months. Otherwise great, store and staff was friendly

I generally only go to Best Buy once a year for very specific items, like a TV on sale or a new cell phone. My experience with their staff has been mixed - I'm either completely ignored or they go above and beyond. Still better than going to other stores that sell TVs.

Word of warning . . . if you use reward certificates to pay for even part of your item - THAT portion of the purchase is only refundable for 90 days. I learned this the hard way. I purchased an item for $149.99 and got the warranty as part of the "my Best Buy Total" membership (used to be totaltech - it's about $180 a year). The item stopped working after about 14 months and I took it back to my local Best Buy after making the required appointment with their Geek Squad. I drove 75 miles to the store at which point they offered me a credit of $29.99 because I had used $120 in rewards certificates when I bought it. On their end that showed as a discount (suggesting that someone at the store offered me an 80% discount apparently) and they could only offer me what I actually paid for the item. I got pretty irate and explained that it was NOT a discount but rather reward certificates. Sadly, none of mattered. At the Missoula store at least, it shows as a discount and that's all they care about. Personally, I have always treated the reward certificates like cash - and when I have them I use them because they expire - but not after today. DO NOT USE REWARD CERTIFICATES TO BUY ITEMS IF YOU WANT THE WARRANTY TO APPLY. The Missoula store could not fix it or replace it so the best they could do was 20 cents on the dollar as a store credit. The warranty might still be OK if you only pay with cash or a card but most people use these certificates as they are awarded and if you are like me and buy big ticket items like appliances, high end computers, or TVs - the rewards can often pay for your entire order. Well today I learned you should NEVER do that. In fact, at this point I would only suggest buying consumables with reward certificates because it essentially voids the warranty by reducing the coverage to what you were out of pocket when you bought it only. Buyer beware.
