On August 7th, I adopted two of my favorite people-- well, cats... From Animeals.The shelter was clean and all of the cats seemed to be happy, healthy, and well fed. The staff was also great; when I initially went to adopt a pair of cats that were no longer there, they matched me with a perfect duo that I am so happy to say are a part of the family now.The adoption process was straightforward, and I am so glad that they ask for personal references so that they know the cats are going towards a good home. They also make sure that bonded pairs are never separated, and all of the cats can stay there happily until they find their forever homes. If I were to consider another cat, I would absolutely go back to Animeals.

Animeals is one of the very rare 100% nonprofit cat shelter. Literally all the money here goes to care for the cats. This shelter takes in and pays/cares for cats that no other shelters will take or would otherwise be euthanize for their medical issues. Truly a great asset to the community (human and animal)!

The staff are lively to work with and so kind. I have come on several occasions to meet different cats to get a feel for their personalities. I appreciate the detailed descriptions of each cat and how thorough the staff is with their adoption process. They ensure you are educated about the needs of your cat and how to properly care for them. Animeals is very careful to make sure you sanitize your hands and shoes before entering each enclosure. And they do their due diligence to make sure cats are going to a loving home. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone looking to add a cat to their family. Please be kind as they are currently short staffed

The staff is absolutely amazing and knowledgeable of all the cat’s personalities. All the fur babies are well taken care of! There’s tons of volunteers that help out! All my questions and concerns were answered and they matched me with a kitty son who is absolutely perfect for me! Highly recommend adopting from here. Even to get some kitty therapy there’s tons of cuties to go visit!

I'm disabled and I have 2 baby girl dogs . Awww this place is amazing and today they sent a vet to my home and the girls got shots and nails cut..!! And they got some issues so Char got antibiotics!! And Nelly got some ear medicine . I am so thankful for the food.. the treats .. the staff and the whole program!!

This place is absolutely amazing! We adopted our Boogie from there and they were so informative and made everything so easy. The facility is amazing…it’s clean, organized, and the animals are treated so well. I would recommend looking at Animeals to adopt your kitten or cat!

I can't give more than 5 stars but believe me if I could I definitely would. We just adopted 2 of the sweetest kitties from there. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I can't stress this enough y'all, don't buy ADOPT. These people are truly God's angels

I support all care and shelter for homeless animals but Animeals is not in touch with reality. I have never seen a shelter judge people so bad. They treat you like your adopting a human. Reality check: If anyone is willing to PAY for a cat…they’re a cat lover. If someone turns in a cat or brings back a cat they are banned from adopting. But hey if they can afford to keep all those cats more power to them.I stopped donating a while ago.

My service cats were illegally taken otherwise known as stolen by the so called police in hot springs montana. Due to our vehicle breaking down and unable to keep it running. I was arrested for warrants out of Polson and the officer told my friends that I will be going away for long rime. Actually I was only in jail in thompson falls for approx. 3 days. Both of us owners who have serious medical issues and health issues would appreciate it if they were to come back home to us. So neither of us has to press charges. Against hot springs judicial system.

We recently adopted a kitten from animeals. He is the sweetest little guy. He had been in foster care before he came to us. It's obvious he was handled with so much care and is so comfortable with human interaction and being held. We were beyond impressed with the whole process and how much care the cats at animeals receive. Thank you so much for our sweet Ziggy (Scooter was his shelter name)

This facility has the most kind, caring and patient workers! The kitten we wanted to adopt was a little worse for wear when he came to them and they spent so much time with him and mending him up. I’m so happy we chose their facility and got to meet such wonderful people and take home a new member of the family. 💖💕

AniMeals is a wonderful place. The cats there are their number one priority and they truly care for their well beings. I volunteered at this place for 3 years, and worked there for a while after. I have seen the hard side of running and working at a shelter, and these ladies do the absolute best they can to ensure the best care for every cat. They spend extra hours caring for each animal, and when one is in need, they are the ones who do their best to care for them. They have adopted so many cats out to great homes, and never give up on those who are shy or have behavioral struggles. That means something. This is the best animal shelter I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of, and I truly hope people take this to heart.

I posted an ad on Facebook looking for a good home for my two kitties due to reasons out of our control. One of your board of directors, Susan Andrews-Merseal, accused me of posting a scam. If Animeals was properly staffed and didn’t charge an arm and a leg for surrendered animals, this wouldn’t be an issue. Maybe check into how your board of directors is handling themselves on social media when Animeals is not available to help. Thanks!

I recently just adopted a sweet kitty named Six from this shelter. All of the employees were super nice and I couldn’t be happier with how they handle all of the fur babies.I would absolutely recommend stopping by and checking them out. ❤️

Awesome place! A true no-kill shelter, so even cats with complex medical and/or behavioral issues can stay in comfort and safety the rest of their lives even if there is little to no chance of adoption.My guy in the picture was one of these difficult to adopt cats, and I am grateful for him every day.Through the Gaia's Landing program his medical needs are covered through the shelter and the staff are always available to answer any questions.

Wonderful place to go adopt or even just sit and pet kitties. You can really tell they take great care of everyone. They cater to each of the cats needs and let’s you know everything you can about each one to help the adoption, plus it never smells. They take cleaning very seriously. Friendly staff that always greats you and answers your questions.

It takes such good care of the kitties and do fantastic job catering to their individual needs getting a sense of the personalities so that people interested in a cat can work easily narrow down the one that they want. They seem to care a lot about the cat's health and well-being building all by name and they went there there was a lot of very friendly kitties.

Visiting the center and I have to say the people that work there are very special people. They apply care to all of the animals. So many come to them broken, abused, lonely and scared. They change them by caring and showing them love. They never say no. They use so many creative ways to help cats and kittens find their way. Hats off to all of you and never forget how special you all truly are.
